About
Hi, My name is Tony Byrne, I have been carrying out electrical work for over 30 years. I am a sole trader, so it would be just me carrying out any work. I am registered with the NICEIC and carry all the relevant insurances.
In 2013 i collected the Which?Local trader East award at an awards ceremony in London, which i nearly didn't go to, but luckily my daughter persuaded me.
I wish i could mention hobbies, but really do not get time for any, apart from being a spurs supporter, but please don't hold that against me.
I carry out all Electrical work including small jobs locally, like changing a light fitting, so don't be worried to ask for a small job to be done. Also repairs to light fittings.

Tony has done a number of electrical jobs for me over the course of many years. He is friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and very accommodating. The work is always completed to a high standard and the area is always left clean and tidy. No job is too small and nothing is too much trouble and if anything extra is requested, appropriate research is conducted to ensure all options are explored. Relevant advice is offered with detailed information, including costings. Tony always investigates situations thoroughly before starting a job, to avoid running into unforeseen problems. His pricing is fair and reasonable. I have always found Tony to be reliable and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Replacement of Ceiling Lights and Wall Switches

Having purchased 3 ceiling fans with LED lights, 1 ordinary ceiling light and 2 wall light switches as replacements for my current ones, I asked Tony to quote a price to fit them for me. He emailed me an acceptable quote and arrived at the time we had agreed. He carried-out the work professionally and cleared-up any mess. We tested each installation before Tony moved-on to the next one and I found him to be very pleasant and friendly. Before leaving he advised me to call him if there were any problems and he would resolve them but there were none. He emailed me his invoice, which was as agreed. I have employed Tony a number of times in the past and have always been very satisfied with his work and the price charged. I unreservedly recommend him for any electrical work needed.

As expected, following an earlier visit, he provided an estimate with choices and explanations relating to differing products with prices to the job required. It enabled us to select what we thought would be best for us. Tony (1) replaced and fitted two new timer fans. One for our cloakroom shower and the other for the utility area. (2) An under-cabinet light bracket with LED light (3) a replacement 3 gang socket and (4) fitted an exterior mains security camera to the rear of the house at bedroom height. The work was completed in a timely manner and the cost was as quoted for the products we had selected. Value for money no doubt. Tony is highly professional, reliable thorough in everything he does. From communicating very well prior to the job and friendly relaxed manner whilst working. I would highly recommend him to anyone

Tony has carried out work at our house on a number of occasions so we had no hesitation in asking him to quote for installing new spot lights in two rooms where the ceilings were being re plastered. Tony will always come to see what the work involves and gives thoughtful advice. He sets out his quotes so that you can clearly see what is being charged and the different options. Tony completed the work on schedule and cleared up afterwards ( as he always does) We are very pleased with Tony’s work and he is totally professional. This is first time I have used Tony, but it certainly wont be the last. Had two new sockets fitted, Tony did a great job, very tidy, and covered everything well though not needed as no mess at all. Very reasonable cost, and I cant recommend him highly enough. Will be booking Tony again in the future for any more electrical work that needs doing.
