Second time I've used Tony, he is a top class quality electrician. Was able to fit me in at short notice and completed the work to a very high standard. Really pleased with the new light fittings. Tony is honest, reliable and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending him for any electrical work you may require.

This is first time I have used Tony, but it certainly wont be the last. Had two new sockets fitted, Tony did a great job, very tidy, and covered everything well though not needed as no mess at all. Very reasonable cost, and I cant recommend him highly enough. Will be booking Tony again in the future for any more electrical work that needs doing. So for everyone reading mine and other reviews, dont waste time looking around, just call Tony.

I have used Tony before, who has always given me 5-star service, both for quality and value. On this occasion, I asked for help and he was able to provide a cost-free solution which saved me £1,000. I had defrosted my fridge/ freezer, causing water to leak onto the plug, which perpetually tripped the bank electrical sockets. Unfortunately, my fridge/freezer is contained within a furniture unit, making the plug inaccessible. By talking to Tony over the phone, he very patiently narrowed down the problem and suggested that I simply wait for the plug to dry out, thus avoiding the need to replace a particular-sized unit with the complication of getting it fitted. Very grateful.

We’ve used Tony a couple of times now and he never disappoints. As well as being a super nice guy, he’s also reasonably priced, an effective communicator, always arrives on time and is always professional. He offers suggestions and solutions for all sorts of requirements we might have. We’re so pleased with all the jobs he’s completed for us! And we will definitely be using Tony again!

The outside lights on our pergola had suddenly stopped working and Tony traced the issue to the internal electrics rather than with the cabling outside, and so saving us the cost of digging up bits of our garden and patio. We have used Tony on a number of occasions and as always he was brilliant. We have always found him thorough and efficient and friendly with it. We can't recommend him highly enough.

Tony updated the electrical sockets in our bedroom, introducing two new double sockets as well as replacing a very old ceiling light. We are absolutely delighted with the new LED remote control adjustable ceiling lamp which he recommended and installed. He mended a spotlight in our living room and replaced an electric shower pull cord in the bathroom. in the past we have had several issues with ageing ceiling spotlights which he has resolved and given advice on. He is always reliable and gives a clear idea of the estimated cost of any work, big or small, leaving everything clean and tidy. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tony, he is an absolute star, and I am so glad we found him initially through Which? Trusted Traders!

Tony did some work for me last week including replacing a consumer unit, 8 kitchen down lights, a faulty pull cord, and installing a water earth bond in the downstairs WC. On inspection Tony advised that something I’d asked for didn’t need replacing and removed this from the agreed price. The work was carried out on time, at the price quoted, and to a high standard with the necessary certificates processed and emailed through quickly. The price quoted was inline with other quotes I’d received and I decided to go with Tony based on the positive reviews here and I’m very glad I did. From start to finish Tony’s communication was excellent - very clear (from a clear itemised quote through to a clear invoice) and was always quick at responding to my emails. I have no hesitation recommending Tony and would certainly use again.

Tony carried out the work this week. As always, his work was first class, carried out on time and at the price quoted. I have used Tony for all my domestic electrical problems for at least the last 15 years. At all times he carried out the work to the same high standards as the recent Xpelair replacement. His advice is always excellent and he always responds very quickly for requests for estimates. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Bryne arrived on time and carried out the required electrical work satisfactorily and efficiently. He is a neat and tidy worker who is friendly and caring.

Tony was unable to come at the agreed date for personal reasons. However, he came the following week (the job would have been running into the following week anyway) and rather than let it run over, he brought a colleague so the work was completed by the agreed end date. All the work was completed well and when, on investigation, something didn't need doing, we had a reduction in the agreed price. A couple of things which were replaced for new ones, were left with us with the advice that we could sell the old one. Very honest. Both Tony and Dave were very pleasant and left everything clean and tidy. Would certainly use again.

We had Tony fit an inline extractor fan and shaver socket in our bathroon. Tonys communication was excellent from the initial quote which was clear, and the invoice for the work. He is polite and his work is really good. would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

We have asked Tony to repair or replace a number of things at different times: a faulty pull cord, a broken batten holder for a bulb in the loft, a 6' tube and starter, a 4' tube and starter, a kitchen tube and starter, a small solar fountain, and replacing a faulty twin socket, which was the last of this series of jobs. Tony always replies quickly, comes to have a look, discusses various options and possibilities, and is very professional, but explains what he is doing throughout the work. We are so glad to have found him, and have every confidence in him.

Tony helpfully rearranged the date for installing a completely new consumer unit until it was warm enough to have the power off all day so that we weren't going to get cold. It was a long day's work, immaculately completed. Tony explained clearly what he needed to do - and kept us in touch throughout the day. Some unexpected problems arose, which meant that he spent much longer than he had anticipated, but his invoice kept to the amount estimated. I would recommend Tony without hesitation - and have done so.

Mr Byrne advised us on various ways to improve the outside lighting at the back of the house and the side of the garage and a a way to control the side garage light from inside the house. He gave us written details ,via email ,of the options plus prices and a suggested date when he could do the work. The agreed work was done to our complete satisfaction on the date and time planned and for the price agreed. Mr Byrne has done work for us before , we have alwaysfound his work to be of a high standard. Mr Byrne is very helpfull ,friendly and polite.

I initially had inspection & testing of my home electrics undertaken by the contractor because of their age & some items which either didn’t comply with the current regulations or were advisory were identified. The contractor provided a written quote for the necessary works & returned on the agreed date to complete the work to a high standard. He fully explained what works were completed & why & how the new consumer unit operated.

Tony moved our fuse board from under the stairs where it was not very accessible due to some storage drawers. It turned out to be a very awkward job due to the framework of the drawers restricting access to work, however Tony maintained a very positive attitude to the job, even when it took longer than expected due to this physical constraint. The job was completed most efficiently and we are so pleased with the work as the fuse board is now in our utility room and is fitted into a cupboard with a very neat access panel and is much more accessible. The house was left clean and tidy with all waste removed. Tony is very personable and and have used his services on a number of occasions. His quotations are always very competitive and we would not hesitate to recommend him based on the quality of his work.

We have found Tony to be the ideal electrician. This is the second time he has been here. He is reliable, competent, professional, helpful and friendly. He did the job and goes the extra mile.

Tony carried out a complete rewire of our upstairs lighting circuit and replace the lighting in our roof space with 2 led strip lights He completed the work efficiently and competently with the minimum of disruption to ourselves on the days we had agreed in advance. He turned up when he said he would and worked out the best way of doing the job without too much disruption . He was considerate and wore coverings over his shoes inside our house. He also did a couple of extra things I was not expecting him to do. He did not need to return as the job was done completely to our satisfaction and he is able to certify his work. I would definitely recommend home to anyone requiring any electrical work .

We found Tony personable, professional and friendly. His communication is excellent keeping us in touch, confirming his arrival the previous day. The work was done efficiently and as quoted. He has given us a 12 month warranty for labour and materials. We would certainly use him again

Tony Bryne installed electrics to our summer house, the work he did was great. Everything was done to our agreed schedule and budget. The first time we met Tony he gave us the feeling of someone you could trust and we were proved correct. He was kind and considerate and when you are in your eighties that means a lot.

This is my second experience of Tony’s work following some electrical work at my home - on this occasion I used Tony to install three new ground floor lights, a new first floor drop light to illuminate the stairwell (thanks for crawling around in the loft) and to install a new metal meter cover box to an external damaged electric meter box. All this work was done at my daughters house in Pitsea - ah yes, must stock up on Yorkshire Tea.

Tony carried out work for us over two days to convert single sockets to double sockets, fit new wall and ceiling lights as well as changing switch and socket covers. He arrived promptly on both days, worked hard and to a very high standard. Where walls had to be chased out to fit new lights, switches and sockets etc, Tony did an excellent job making good so that they have been left in good order ready to be decorated and the rooms being worked in were tidied and left spotless each day. In advance of the visit Tony made contact with the supplier of the lights to ensure that he fully understood how they worked as they were non standard and the on-line description for fitting and operating was not clear and he wanted to ensure that they suited our requirements. We really appreciate the attention to detail this demonstrates and that Tony always wants to do the best for his customers. He was polite, friendly and helpful throughout and ensured that we were consulted regarding positioning of lights etc and ensured that we were happy with everything. Tony was recommended to us by a friend and we have been very happy to engage him on several occasions and have always been pleased with his work. Furthermore his prices are very competitive. We would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Tony came to review the job required which was assessing a complex wiring configuration to the house which had been badly installed. He arrived on time, subsequently gave a reasonable quote for the work with some further options over email. Once we agreed the price and date to do the work, he arrived fully prepared and got on a did the job efficiently and as specified. He also went over and above by dropping me off at the station car park in town to retrieve my car. A very genuine offer to save me getting the bus. I can highly recommend Tony as a very trustworthy friendly electrical expert, who does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it! Thanks Tony!

We used Tony for the third time today since moving into our new build 4 years ago. Previously he has installed wiring for a hot tub, and installed down lights in soffits and also other garden lighting. We asked Tony if he would come back again in order to install another light in our garage and extra plug sockets. Again Tony has done a superb job, he is punctual, touching base the day before the agreed work, and is very neat and tidy! Prices charged are very reasonable, and along with this he is one of the nicest tradespeople we have met!! He is full of knowledge and experience and has offered us different ideas of doing things each time he has attended to benefit our needs. Tony did several small electrical jobs for us. He was so friendly and patient with me (and my baby and dog in the house) and has done a fantastic job. I felt reassured with him doing the work. He went above and beyond, going out during the day to pick up a special switch we needed, nothing was too much bother. I would one hundred percent ask Tony to do more electrical work for us.
