AJP Home Improvement is a well established small family business with a reputation for providing a great service at a highly competitive price, offering excellent value for money. We specialise in a range of home improvement services for both inside and outside your home, including garage door installation and repair, loft ladder and loft boarding installation, car port installation, patio awning and canopy installation, conservatories and turfing services.

Based in Epworth, North Lincolnshire we cover Doncaster, Gainsborough, Goole, Grimsby, Hull, Lincoln, Retford, Scunthorpe and all points in between.

So pleased with the awning and the whole process. The initial consultation was pleasant and informative and unpressurised, James was very helpful and rang back promptly with a quote, The awning arrived speedily and it was a no fuss installation. My husband and I are both very pleased and would recommend James and the company.

We ordered two new electric garage doors in early December which as they needed to manufactured we were told it they would be available late January/early February. James called me on 2nd February and we agreed that they could be fitted the following day on 4th February. James and work colleague arrived shortly after 8.30 am and got to work straight-away. The work was carried out very professionally with no fuss and no mess. On completion James took me and my wife through the controls, what to do if there was a problem such as a power cut, the safety features and answered all questions of him. The finished doors work great and look fantastic. I would not hesitate in using AJP again and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to use their services.

In December I called James at AJP to discuss new garage doors. James arrived soon after the phone call to go through the various options available. The doors that I ordered had to be made measure, so he advised me that they would be fitted in January. James contacted me earlier last week to let me know that the doors were ready and could be fitted the following day. The doors were fitted and they look great. The day following the fitting, James came around to check that I am happy with everything and to show me how the doors operate. All in all, a very professional service. Thank you.

James came to install a loft ladder and new hinged loft lid on 17th December. He was friendly, respected my property and did an excellent job of fitting the above, making it very safe for to me to access the loft. He left no mess whatsoever and made sure that I was able to operate the ladder. Pleased with the quality of the ladder and the work done. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs home improvement work doing.

He quickly identified the issue, provided information re possible cost of the job and within a very short time the motor was replaced and the garage door back to working as if it were new!
