AJP Home Improvements fitted an awning to the back of my house. They were quick to arrange an initial survey and quote, they explained the product and answered all of my questions in a knowledgeable and friendly way. The awning was fitted quickly and efficiently with full instructions on how to operate. They were great people to deal with and I would use them again.

Our double door on the garage stopped working in the up position, A call to James at AJP promised the same day visit to investigate the problem. He arrived, just ad promised, diagnosed the problem and disconnected the motor so that the door could be raised and lowered manually. It was a relief to us to be able to lower the door at night and if we went out. The part arrived a couple of days later and was fitted straight away. We now have a working door. We contacted AJP initially as they were recommended by a local builder who has used their services on a number of occasions. They came out and covered the various options for our garage door. The price was competitive when measured against other local companies. The fitting of the door was completed in a few hours and we are delighted with the end result. The installation of my new insulated roller garage door was completed within a few hours on the day that had previously been agreed (at quite short notice but convenient for myself). The work was carried out efficiently and all mess tidied up subsequently. As part of the cost the old door and fittings were removed. James went through the operation of the door along with the security and safety features. I must say that James did a great job of selling the door I'd just had installed. He genuinely appeared to be proud of both the work carried out and quality of the product itself. I have no hesitation in recommending AJP Home Improvement to other people.

AJP fitted a new garage door after old one was damaged, not usable or repairable. James offered good advice on options for a replacement and was not at all pushy or over bearing in what he recommended, listening to what I wanted/needed. Great price and efficient service. Fitted in a short time - from his first visit to ordering to fitting. Work done to a high standard. Took away old garage door and bits. All left very tidy. I'd have no hesitation in using AJP again, or to recommend his services to someone else.

James arrived and carried out the repair after talking me through the issues with the door. Provided a quotation, which I accepted. Work competed and additional issue fixed with no additional charge. All broken parts and packaging removed. No issues and would not hesitate to call on their services again should they be required. Thank you

Tony phoned me and quoted £600 to enlarge my loft hatch and install better ladders. When he came he changed the price to £650 saying there was more work to do. Was happy with the work at first but a gap left in the ceiling was covered with MDF which should have been plasterboard he did say he didn't have any plasterboard but just 5 minutes down the road from me is wicks x Homebase (at the time Tony said this, my husband thought he was going to fix it and sort the gap out with plasterboard. When I had to call in an electrician to move my ceiling light he commented that what he had done was wrong. Today I've had the plasterer in to to remove the MDF and plaster it properly. Steve the plasterer tried to get the screws out Tony had screwed the MDF to the archives he tried for 20 mins but one of the screws would not come out so had to break the Archive to remove the MDF to carry out what he came to do. I phoned Tony and told him this but he basically called us x the plasterer liars and said the screw would have come out easily, obviously it didn't. Although Tony and grandson was very polite while on the job and rest of the work was reasonable, he did clear up after in my house but left my drive and bins covered in sawdust it was a right mess.

A first rate job from beginning to end. Clear quotation given on first visit. All options clearly explained. Small deposit taken on order. Work then completed at agreed time to an excellent standard. Clear explanation of working of new door. Site cleared on completion of work. Full explanation of arrangements in case of any future malfunction. Reasonable price. I would recommend without any reservation. It was a pleasure to deal with AJP.
