We had a bespoke roller door fitted instead of gates to yard where 3 meter high Motorhome is stored. Everything was meticulously measured and discussed thoroughly. This ensured a perfect finished job. We had to have a roller garage door fitted a couple of years ago and this was what prompted us to ask AJP to fit the extra high yard door.

Thoroughly recommend Tony. He was very informative when I phoned him. Was able to come within a week. Arrived on time and completed the job for the price quoted over the phone (very reasonable.) The work was very good quality and he brought dust sheets with him to keep the mess down.

We telephoned AJP & asked if they could come over & look at the job we wanted doing. This was to floor part of our a roof area & fit a collapsible ladder for access to the ceiling. They came straight over to our home, examined the job & gave us a reasonable quote instantly. We asked how soon they could do the job, & were surprised when they said the next day. So the following morning they arrived by 9 am, & the job was completed by late afternoon. Not only did they carry out a superb & efficient job, when it was completed they even helped us to put some of our belongings into the loft, as my wife & I are in our 70's & I am disabled. We always try to use local traders for any job, & AJP proved to us why that is the best thing to do. I would recommend AJP to everybody who requires this type of job doing at their home, as I cannot think that anyone could do a better job.

AJP Home Improvements Ltd replaced my loft ladder today. They arrived on time, the work was carried out professionally. It was of the highest standard and I am very pleased with the result. The loft ladder is sturdy, and easy for me (a 72 year old lady) to use. It is a small, family business and very friendly and approachable. They gave good advice as to a loft ladder that would suit my purpose. Once installed they explained how to operate it. The price for the work was competitive and fair. I know that as they are local I will receive any aftercare needed, although I am sure none will be needed. I have now asked them to install top up loft insulation for me. I would heartily recommend AJP Home Improvements Ltd.

Originally had two single garage doors separated by a brick pillar. AJP removed the pillar, reinforced the lintels and replaced the two single doors with a full width electrically operated unit. Also installed a side door to the garage in a finish to match the main door. Extremely pleased with quality of the products and professional standards of workmanship throughout the installation, site left clean and tidy on completion. Would have not hesitation in recommending AJP to anyone considering having work done on garage doors or similar.

Tony fitted my Loft Ladders needed to access my boiler. Called me back the next day and arranged a time and date to quote. Left me a competitive quote. Fitted me in to fit the ladder at short notice because of a cancellation. The whole process was completed within the week. Communication was first class and even rang to confirm the work was satisfactory. A new precedent was set for service, delivery and workmanship. If only all tradespeople were so reliable. I have loads of work to do on this house and I only hope they are not too busy to quote for more work. First class, Recommended.

Really great service, highly recommend. James came out quickly for a quote, had loads of advice to give since I wasn't sure what to get. I picked out a door, agreed on a date, paid a 10% deposit. James arrived on time on the agreed date and got the door installed - only problem was the door trim had been damaged during shipping. He was happy for me to delay paying until the job was complete, but I paid anyway since the door was in and working. He came back another day once a replacement trim had arrived to fit it, now it's all done and looks excellent.

Garage door motor not working. James came quickly and was able to install new motor at once. He also tidied up afterwards, which was greatly appreciated as a lot of stuff had to be moved.

Had James and Lewis fit our shutter and electric canopy system. From start to finish, very helpful and professional, well priced with good communication throughout. Tidy and clean on site, happy to answer questions, attention to detail was excellent. We can only recommend. Many Thanks

In December I called James at AJP to discuss new garage doors. James arrived soon after the phone call to go through the various options available. The doors that I ordered had to be made measure, so he advised me that they would be fitted in January. James contacted me earlier last week to let me know that the doors were ready and could be fitted the following day. The doors were fitted and they look great. The day following the fitting, James came around to check that I am happy with everything and to show me how the doors operate. All in all, a very professional service. Thank you.
