Tony phoned me and quoted £600 to enlarge my loft hatch and install better ladders. When he came he changed the price to £650 saying there was more work to do. Was happy with the work at first but a gap left in the ceiling was covered with MDF which should have been plasterboard he did say he didn't have any plasterboard but just 5 minutes down the road from me is wicks x Homebase (at the time Tony said this, my husband thought he was going to fix it and sort the gap out with plasterboard. When I had to call in an electrician to move my ceiling light he commented that what he had done was wrong. Today I've had the plasterer in to to remove the MDF and plaster it properly. Steve the plasterer tried to get the screws out Tony had screwed the MDF to the archives he tried for 20 mins but one of the screws would not come out so had to break the Archive to remove the MDF to carry out what he came to do. I phoned Tony and told him this but he basically called us x the plasterer liars and said the screw would have come out easily, obviously it didn't. Although Tony and grandson was very polite while on the job and rest of the work was reasonable, he did clear up after in my house but left my drive and bins covered in sawdust it was a right mess.
