We used Ignite Plumbing to install underfloor heating in our living room and dining room. It was a big area and the work was carried out very efficiently by Alan and Ian. We are really pleased with the way Alan conducted his business. We got a detailed quote, reasonable price and terms and conditions. Alan and Ian worked quickly but to a very high standard. They were very tidy and left the rooms clean each night. They turned up on time and both really nice friendly chaps that I would highly recommend and would use again for future work. We had trouble understanding how to use the new digital thermostat control and it was no bother for Alan to drop by after the work was complete even though he was extremely busy. Good after service.

The job was scoped and quoted exactly as required. The work was booked for a suitable time. Communications were regular and appropriate. On the day of the work Alan turned up exactly as he said he would and worked non-stop until the job was complete. Due to problems with the work area the tank was marginally too big so he simply ordered another that was delivered in about an hour. The whole job was carried out and completed just exactly as required and promised. An excellent Company.

I have no hesitation in recommending Ignite Plumbing. They turned up at the arranged time and were professional, polite and used appropriate PPE while in my home. The work was done to a fabulous standard and no mess was left. All the old radiators and rubbish have been uplifted. Alan managed to source radiators to match some I already had so I’m really pleased with the work and all the help they gave in getting exactly what we needed.

I had a new boiler installed by Ignite plumbing around 3 years ago, but didn’t change the radiators at the time as they were working fine. I contacted Alan again as one of my radiators started leaking. The radiators were quite old and I arranged to have them replaced. Alan sent out a detailed price for the job and date for the work. He and a colleague arrived on time, wearing ppe and efficiently got the old radiators removed and the new ones in situ. Absolutely no mess made during the work. I have always found them polite and courteous, working efficiently, safely and tidy. I would have no hesitation recommending Ignite.

My 94 year old mothers heating stopped working just after the new year. With temperatures under freezing it was imperative that we got the boiler working quickly. Alan attended the house the next day, found out that parts were needed, ordered said parts and fitted them the next day. We have been using Ignite Plumbing for over 6 years and find them very good.

Ignite supplied and fitted a shower pump previously, pump stopped working and Ignite called for repair/replacement. Ignite carried out a check and stated pump faulty and advised contact manufacturer as pump under guarantee. Salamander pumps advised the pump fitted was incompatible with water system and requested Ignite contact them. Ignite informed and agreed to contact Salamander and get back to me. I have not had a return call to agree next steps. Ignite failed to contact me despite 2 phone calls and an email to them (2 weeks have elapsed). It would seem that they are uninterested in aftercare. The original job was expensive and the inspection also carried a charge. I fully expected to pay for any additional work required but also expected some acknowledgement from Ignite regarding Salamanders statement on compatibility and how the matter could be resolved. Meanwhile matter unresolved. Very disappointed, particularly as first time round I was impressed with the service provided.

Hi Isobel, Thank you for getting in touch. I have spoken with the shower pump manufacturer and I have replied to your email to resolve this matter. It also took me a while to get in contact with the pump manufacturer, due to long hold queues, and unfortunately when you had called and sent messages, we were closed for annual leave and this is why it has taken us longer to respond. After reading your review, we do care about our customer's aftercare service and this is where a lot of our work comes from, with returning customers and word of mouth referrals. I am sorry you feel that we have let you down, it is not the service we aim to provide. Alan & Team Ignite.
