The plumber arrived at the time specified (28.5.21) removed the old element and after cleaning all necessary areas around the fitting area found the backing plate as damaged and unusable. He returned after the replacement was found and replaced with the new element as required. Very efficient and friendly.

Would definitely recommend Alan for any plumbing work. Very reliable and pleasant Guys who provided a good quality Service. Just supplied and fitted new taps in both the kitchen and bathroom and carried out some plumbing repairs. The Service was second to none. From the first phone call to completing the jobs, even added a couple of jobs on from the initial phone call and it was no problem. Communication was excellent from sending emails regarding the work, keeping me up to date with arrival information and calling when en route to do the job.

The boys from Ignite were quick and efficient to re-pressurize my mother's gas boiler. They were friendly and professional in their duties. Thank you Ignite!

We used Ignite Plumbing to install underfloor heating in our living room and dining room. It was a big area and the work was carried out very efficiently by Alan and Ian. We are really pleased with the way Alan conducted his business. We got a detailed quote, reasonable price and terms and conditions. Alan and Ian worked quickly but to a very high standard. They were very tidy and left the rooms clean each night. They turned up on time and both really nice friendly chaps that I would highly recommend and would use again for future work. We had trouble understanding how to use the new digital thermostat control and it was no bother for Alan to drop by after the work was complete even though he was extremely busy. Good after service.

The job was scoped and quoted exactly as required. The work was booked for a suitable time. Communications were regular and appropriate. On the day of the work Alan turned up exactly as he said he would and worked non-stop until the job was complete. Due to problems with the work area the tank was marginally too big so he simply ordered another that was delivered in about an hour. The whole job was carried out and completed just exactly as required and promised. An excellent Company.

I have no hesitation in recommending Ignite Plumbing. They turned up at the arranged time and were professional, polite and used appropriate PPE while in my home. The work was done to a fabulous standard and no mess was left. All the old radiators and rubbish have been uplifted. Alan managed to source radiators to match some I already had so I’m really pleased with the work and all the help they gave in getting exactly what we needed.

I had a new boiler installed by Ignite plumbing around 3 years ago, but didn’t change the radiators at the time as they were working fine. I contacted Alan again as one of my radiators started leaking. The radiators were quite old and I arranged to have them replaced. Alan sent out a detailed price for the job and date for the work. He and a colleague arrived on time, wearing ppe and efficiently got the old radiators removed and the new ones in situ. Absolutely no mess made during the work. I have always found them polite and courteous, working efficiently, safely and tidy. I would have no hesitation recommending Ignite.

My 94 year old mothers heating stopped working just after the new year. With temperatures under freezing it was imperative that we got the boiler working quickly. Alan attended the house the next day, found out that parts were needed, ordered said parts and fitted them the next day. We have been using Ignite Plumbing for over 6 years and find them very good.

Arrived on time, good communication, pleasant and courteous, job done well, had time for other issues too. Not too costly. Awaiting quote for another job now. Would use again and recommend.

Called these guys to have a look at my combi boiler. They arrived as they said they would. Polite and clean work. Problem with the boiler was fixed. Will definitely use them again. Happy customer indeed.

Ignite supplied and fitted a shower pump previously, pump stopped working and Ignite called for repair/replacement. Ignite carried out a check and stated pump faulty and advised contact manufacturer as pump under guarantee. Salamander pumps advised the pump fitted was incompatible with water system and requested Ignite contact them. Ignite informed and agreed to contact Salamander and get back to me. I have not had a return call to agree next steps. Ignite failed to contact me despite 2 phone calls and an email to them (2 weeks have elapsed). It would seem that they are uninterested in aftercare. The original job was expensive and the inspection also carried a charge. I fully expected to pay for any additional work required but also expected some acknowledgement from Ignite regarding Salamanders statement on compatibility and how the matter could be resolved. Meanwhile matter unresolved. Very disappointed, particularly as first time round I was impressed with the service provided.

This is the second time I have used Alan's services and again I am highly delighted. He arrived on the date and time agreed, performed the work expertly and was clean, neat and tidy before, during and after the work. Excellent value and very competent.

Unfortunately my dual fuel range cooker decided to stop working just before lockdown, leaving us with no working oven or grill! As an NHS worker I had little time and was finding it difficult to find someone to fit our new range cooker. Fortunately, I emailed Alan at Ignite and the rest was taken care of as he realised this would come under essential services during lockdown. Excellent communication, prompt and reliable and reasonable price as quoted. Also observing the guidance re Covid -19. Will definitely use again.

I have used Ignite Plumbing services on several occasions including routine boiler servicing. On the most recent occasion my electric shower was leaking water. After having a previous boiler engineer botch my existing thermostat Alan and his colleague fitted a new one for me. They arrived promptly on time, with updates of when they would arrive and finished the work quickly and to a good standard. Additionally Alan took the time to explain the features of it and went through the set up for me based on my needs before leaving. The only issue I had was it took me a few days to get anyone over the phone, but this was at peak winter time.

Just as the weather turned really cold, our boiler cut out for no obvious reason. We contacted Alan because Ignite have been servicing our CH system for some time now. He was able to get to our flat later the same day. The problem was quickly identified - loss of pressure in the system - and promptly sorted entirely to our satisfaction. We are happy with Ignite's work and we feel ready for the winter. Thanks Alan.

Arrived at time arranged. Alan was very informative regarding solving the problems. Fixed the plug in the basin, having the remainder carried out (new bath panel required) when available. Would certainly recommend.

Replaced kitchen sink/tap and gas hob. Replaced bath and basin taps in bathroom. Punctual and efficient, to agreed cost. Have now ordered replacement unvented cylinder and boiler. Recommended.

Alan fitted a replacement electric shower. From agreeing the initial quote to installation of the shower unit everything ran smoothly. Workmanship clean & tidy. Ignite were very customer focused & easy to deal with. I will use them again.

Alan was very efficient at the job he was doing he explained all the different parts of the job as he went along and the finished article was as good as I could have hoped for, the price was as stated on the web site, he even took time to wash down my front door which had some dust on it.
