I have used Ignite for both reviewing an existing system including power flushing of all pipework and the instalation of a new heating system. They provided a very clear and detailed report on the existing system which I was able to use in a dispute with the previous systems installer as there were problems with poor performance. I opted for them to replace the boiler and make recommended ammendments to the system set up and have had no issues since they carried out the work. They were very straightforward to deal with providing clear quotes, the quality of the work was excellent, the team punctual and friendly and they have provided an excellent level of service including servincing and follow up since instalation over a year ago. I have no hesitation in recomending Ignite to anyone.

I’ve used this company before so I was happy to book them for a second boiler service. The work was carried out when booked, the engineer was friendly and courteous. The work was completed quickly and the area left clean and tidy. I also have asked them to quote for a radiator replacement as I trust them to do a good job.

Ian from Ignite Plumbing came to replace a motorised valve on my Cylinder which required system to be drained down before fitting. It was done with minimum disruption and Ignite were very prompt at sending me the quote prior to the job being completed. Boiler was serviced and again with minimum disruption. I have joined up to their Central Heating Ultimate plan which was very reasonable compared to other companies and it gives me peace of mind that I now know the company and staff I am dealing with and know that the job will be done well. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Ignite Plumbers fitted a new Viessman boiler and flushed my existing radiators. The work was carried out by Ian who worked quickly, efficiently. The pipework was very neat and the work was completed to a very high standard. The quote was well written and very clear and Wally easy to understand. I have used this company on numerous occasions and have not been disappointed. The after sales and communications is always helpful.

I had a dripping shower for a while. I contacted ignite plumbing who discussed the problem and ordered the part for me. They communicated really well via text and email and when the part came in they organised a quick appointment and fitted the new part. Emails were good on what to expect and it was dead easy to pay on the day with the card machine after the job was done. Ian was very polite and I was totally satisfied with the service. They have a expected two hour slot on the day, a text when he was ten minutes away and even had a online tracker to show when the plumber was on his way to the house. I would definitely use them again.

Fantastic service. Faultless communication, really appreciated the message confirming when the engineer would be arriving. Alan was very friendly and tidy with his work. They were also happy to answer questions after the work was done. Would highly recommend.

I contacted Ignite Plumbing online to see if they could fit an outside tap to my roughcast wall. After answering a few questions, not only did they quote me the price for the job but they gave me options for when it could be booked and completed, and these were in less than one week's time. Ignite kept in regular contact with me throughout that week and gave me a two-hour window when they planned to arrive. On the day of the job they also contacted me to give me the name of the engineer and when, in minutes, he would arrive at my house. The engineer who did my job ( Ian ) was very polite and clearly knew exactly what he was doing as he quickly and competently completed the work and allayed my fears re damage to my fresh tinted roughcast. I had a very positive experience with Ignite Plumbing and would certainly use them again and highly recommend them to others.

We wanted a radiator swapped out in the living room. We were having a new floor fitted, so needed it done quickly. From the quote to completion it was week, which was great. The guys were courteous and worked quickly with no mess at all. I would definitely use them again.

The team at Ignite Plumbing did a great job of installing my new dishwasher, which now fits nicely into my kitchen. Really good communication throughout, including advice on what size of dishwasher would work best for the space.

The Ignite Plumbing team arrived on time and worked through the day until the system was up and running properly. Their engineers kept us informed and were very helpful. I have used Ignite before and asked them for a quote for Supply and fit two radiators.I received a qoute which was competitive and detailed the work which they would carry out.They then emailed me a date for completion with a 2 hour window on the said day.They emailed on morning as reminder and 30 mins before the engineer arrived.Job was completed And am delighted Result. I would recommend Ignite as their ability To understand communications and how important that is to Clients sets them above their peers in this arena.I have now given them my 3rd job in 6 weeks.Says it all really.

Alan @ his trainee partner just fitted new radiator in our living room. He was recommended to us by our son who has also used him. He is lovely guy, friendly and he gives you as much time as you need to discuss what you are having done. We are very happy with his work and with cost paid so much so we have asked for a quote for two more radiators. Ignite Plumbers came on time they were very pleasant and easy to talk to they got to work straight away and fitted a new stopcock then a sure stop valve and two other smaller jobs for me all the work was well done and I would have them back for any other work I need done in the future and will recommend them to friends and family.

Alan came to fit a Hive smart thermostat to our elderly boiler - great service, no attempt to upsell, and, best of all, does not patronise women! Top guy and top work.

Called to investigate concern of leak under floor. Happily, no fault found but time taken to tidy up feed pipes to kitchen sink. Considering the work done (removing built-in dishwasher, cutting access hatch in floor) I thought the sum charged was very reasonable and the area left clean and tidy. Recommended!

We have used Ignite three times since moving house last year. All jobs were carried out as expected with minimal fuss. The most recent job was to replace all radiators as the originals had seen better days. We were contacted a few days before to remind us of the appointment and again when they were on their way. Will use again (but hope not to for some time!).

Very happy with the removal of hot water tank and installation of the instantaneous water heater. Standard of workmanship high. Good customer service.

The plumber arrived at the time specified (28.5.21) removed the old element and after cleaning all necessary areas around the fitting area found the backing plate as damaged and unusable. He returned after the replacement was found and replaced with the new element as required. Very efficient and friendly.

Just supplied and fitted new taps in both the kitchen and bathroom and carried out some plumbing repairs. The Service was second to none. From the first phone call to completing the jobs, even added a couple of jobs on from the initial phone call and it was no problem. Communication was excellent from sending emails regarding the work, keeping me up to date with arrival information and calling when en route to do the job.

We used Ignite Plumbing to install underfloor heating in our living room and dining room. It was a big area and the work was carried out very efficiently by Alan and Ian. We are really pleased with the way Alan conducted his business. We got a detailed quote, reasonable price and terms and conditions. Alan and Ian worked quickly but to a very high standard. They were very tidy and left the rooms clean each night. They turned up on time and both really nice friendly chaps that I would highly recommend and would use again for future work. We had trouble understanding how to use the new digital thermostat control and it was no bother for Alan to drop by after the work was complete even though he was extremely busy. Good after service.

The job was scoped and quoted exactly as required. The work was booked for a suitable time. Communications were regular and appropriate. On the day of the work Alan turned up exactly as he said he would and worked non-stop until the job was complete. Due to problems with the work area the tank was marginally too big so he simply ordered another that was delivered in about an hour. The whole job was carried out and completed just exactly as required and promised. An excellent Company.

I have no hesitation in recommending Ignite Plumbing. They turned up at the arranged time and were professional, polite and used appropriate PPE while in my home. The work was done to a fabulous standard and no mess was left. All the old radiators and rubbish have been uplifted. Alan managed to source radiators to match some I already had so I’m really pleased with the work and all the help they gave in getting exactly what we needed.

I had a new boiler installed by Ignite plumbing around 3 years ago, but didn’t change the radiators at the time as they were working fine. I contacted Alan again as one of my radiators started leaking. The radiators were quite old and I arranged to have them replaced. Alan sent out a detailed price for the job and date for the work. He and a colleague arrived on time, wearing ppe and efficiently got the old radiators removed and the new ones in situ. Absolutely no mess made during the work. I have always found them polite and courteous, working efficiently, safely and tidy. I would have no hesitation recommending Ignite.

My 94 year old mothers heating stopped working just after the new year. With temperatures under freezing it was imperative that we got the boiler working quickly. Alan attended the house the next day, found out that parts were needed, ordered said parts and fitted them the next day. We have been using Ignite Plumbing for over 6 years and find them very good.

Called these guys to have a look at my combi boiler. They arrived as they said they would. Polite and clean work. Problem with the boiler was fixed. Will definitely use them again. Happy customer indeed.

Ignite supplied and fitted a shower pump previously, pump stopped working and Ignite called for repair/replacement. Ignite carried out a check and stated pump faulty and advised contact manufacturer as pump under guarantee. Salamander pumps advised the pump fitted was incompatible with water system and requested Ignite contact them. Ignite informed and agreed to contact Salamander and get back to me. I have not had a return call to agree next steps. Ignite failed to contact me despite 2 phone calls and an email to them (2 weeks have elapsed). It would seem that they are uninterested in aftercare. The original job was expensive and the inspection also carried a charge. I fully expected to pay for any additional work required but also expected some acknowledgement from Ignite regarding Salamanders statement on compatibility and how the matter could be resolved. Meanwhile matter unresolved. Very disappointed, particularly as first time round I was impressed with the service provided.

This is the second time I have used Alan's services and again I am highly delighted. He arrived on the date and time agreed, performed the work expertly and was clean, neat and tidy before, during and after the work. Excellent value and very competent.

Unfortunately my dual fuel range cooker decided to stop working just before lockdown, leaving us with no working oven or grill! As an NHS worker I had little time and was finding it difficult to find someone to fit our new range cooker. Fortunately, I emailed Alan at Ignite and the rest was taken care of as he realised this would come under essential services during lockdown. I have used Ignite Plumbing services on several occasions including routine boiler servicing. On the most recent occasion my electric shower was leaking water. After having a previous boiler engineer botch my existing thermostat Alan and his colleague fitted a new one for me. They arrived promptly on time, with updates of when they would arrive and finished the work quickly and to a good standard. Additionally Alan took the time to explain the features of it and went through the set up for me based on my needs before leaving. The only issue I had was it took me a few days to get anyone over the phone, but this was at peak winter time.

Just as the weather turned really cold, our boiler cut out for no obvious reason. We contacted Alan because Ignite have been servicing our CH system for some time now. He was able to get to our flat later the same day. The problem was quickly identified - loss of pressure in the system - and promptly sorted entirely to our satisfaction. We are happy with Ignite's work and we feel ready for the winter. Thanks Alan.

Replaced kitchen sink/tap and gas hob. Replaced bath and basin taps in bathroom. Punctual and efficient, to agreed cost. Have now ordered replacement unvented cylinder and boiler. Recommended.

Alan and his team have now completed 3 jobs for me this year , the latest and biggest being the installation of a new ATAG IC35 boiler and renewal of the house's gas piping.
