Had a problem with my hot water as cool even though central heating and boiler working OK. Did a bit of research and thought the valve might need changing. Contacted Alan plus another firm. Alan asked for details which I sent plus photos and he gave me a price to change the valve. Arranged a quick date to come and have a look. Arrived on time and had a look at the system before "spending my money unnecessarily". Vented the system which caused the hot water to work but then the central heating didn't. He then changed the valve. We then had a new problem as the boiler stopped working, which we couldn't explain. Alan came back with an electrician a couple of days later and they determined the PCB of the boiler had stopped working, so he checked if he could order a new one and gave an estimate. Contacted me next day when found estimate was less than part to make sure I was OK to buy. Then came to fit part and made sure everything was working before leaving. Will definitely use in the future. Only charged for initial labour cost.

I found Alan to be prompt and effective and his charges reasonable. Very satisfied and will certainly use him again.

I called Alan for a repair for my daughter's leaking toilet, time was agreed no sky high rip of prices very honest, resolved the problem my daughter also said no making up expensive needed piece's that were to increase his taking. Thank you Alan keeping your contact details if ever needed again.
