Alan is reliable, professional, has great expertise and skill. He is considerate and helpful. Has done two jobs for me in the Altrincham/Hale area. I don't normally write reviews but felt like I really wanted to because it's hard to find such a trusted tradesperson.

Alan came to have a look at a boiler for servicing at short notice, which was a real benefit to me, as I am not always in Manchester. His fee was very reasonable but in fact he didn't charge the whole amount as not much needed doing. He turned up when he said he would and was friendly and polite. I will definitely call him again when I need a plumber or heating engineer.

Allan was great and fixed our shower quickly. He was very helpful in telling us what we needed and reasonably priced. He was also very mindful of Covid safety.

We noticed a gas leak on Friday, had the emergency gas person come in and shut everything down. Needed someone out as soon as possible to isolate the leak and fix it. Alan was able to come the next day. He isolated the leak without having to tear the floor apart. He then came back and removed the old pipe and put in new pipe. He also fixed another problem we were having. Highly recommended.

Alan installed a new boiler to replace our 18 year old boiler and we were very pleased with his work. His quotation for the boiler and installation was very reasonable. Even though he had to come back a few times to overcome problems connected with our old central heating system, he didn't charge us any more than his original quotation. He obviously takes a lot of pride in doing a first-rate job and we wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Found Alan on Which Trader having struggled to find someone to fit my Gas Fire. Alan came when he said he would and fitted it with no problem. I will be using Alan again when my boiler needs replacing.

Found Alan through Which Trusted Traders & local recommendation, to fix a faulty boiler resulting in no heat or hot water. Texted Sunday evening, he replied immediately with an appointment 9am next day. He came as arranged, diagnosed my problem, bought & fitted the part, & completed a much needed service all for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Alan & use him again.

Had a problem with my hot water as cool even though central heating and boiler working OK. Did a bit of research and thought the valve might need changing. Contacted Alan plus another firm. Alan asked for details which I sent plus photos and he gave me a price to change the valve. Arranged a quick date to come and have a look. Arrived on time and had a look at the system before "spending my money unnecessarily". Vented the system which caused the hot water to work but then the central heating didn't. He then changed the valve. We then had a new problem as the boiler stopped working, which we couldn't explain. Alan came back with an electrician a couple of days later and they determined the PCB of the boiler had stopped working, so he checked if he could order a new one and gave an estimate. Contacted me next day when found estimate was less than part to make sure I was OK to buy. Then came to fit part and made sure everything was working before leaving. Will definitely use in the future. Only charged for initial labour cost.

I found Alan to be prompt and effective and his charges reasonable. Very satisfied and will certainly use him again.

I called Alan for a repair for my daughter's leaking toilet, time was agreed no sky high rip of prices very honest, resolved the problem my daughter also said no making up expensive needed piece's that were to increase his taking. Thank you Alan keeping your contact details if ever needed again.
