Alan came to my property to give me a quote to supply and fit a new bathroom suite, as my old coloured basin was damaged and I did not expect to be able to match the colour with a new basin. After inspecting the old basin he kindly told me that the damage could be repaired, which he did, at a fraction of the cost of getting a new bathroom suite! Alan was punctual, professional, honest and polite, and from my experience of his work, I highly recommend him.

Alan added a shower (over the bath), a shower screen, and a new bath panel to our bathroom. He also replaced the flooring with new Luxury Vinyl Tiles in the bathroom and downstairs toilet. From the initial visit, to the quote to doing the work, he was thorough and prompt. The quality of his work is excellent and we are very pleased with the outcome. He managed to fix two small leaks we discovered under the bath and kitchen sink while he was with us and managed to finish a day early! I recommend him wholeheartedly

Alan stripped out an old bathroom and replumbed the new bathroom furniture in different places, removing old tiles and replacing with waterproof panels. All the work was done to a high standard and he was very flexible in working with us to get the job done so that he did the difficult stuff and we did the redecoration afterwards. He kept everything neat and tidy and helped us recycle the old bathroom furniture instead of just junking it. We're really pleased with the end result and would definitely use Alan again for future work.

Alan easily and professionally overcame the many inherited design flaws of our small bathroom to create a stunning walk in shower and basin unit. The refit went well beyond my most ambitious hopes and has already been positively commented by recent guests. What was most noticeable about Alan's work was the fine attention to detail and the clear commitment to the highest possible standard. My previously dingy, slightly garish, non-functioning bathroom is now sleek, functioning beautifully and in keeping with a well maintained farm house. So delighted with his work that I am already looking to book him for a rework of the ensuite. Highly recommended.

Alan was quick to respond to my email regarding a damp patch forming in our kitchen ceiling. He advised of charges over the phone and he came out to us the very next morning. Alan was able to identify the problem swiftly and the leaking pipe (boiler condensate) was accessed and repaired within the hour. Alan was very polite, professional and a pleasure to deal with and I cannot recommend highly enough.

Alan replaced a leaking wall hung toilet with a back to wall one and then re-tiled the unit, including creating access panels. We only have one WC in the house so he made sure that it was usable by the end of the day. The tiling looks really neat and he left the bathroom tidy at the end of each days work. Very happy with the job.

Removed a bath and installed a shower. Work was well done but we had to buy all items required ourselves from a separate trader so Alan Smith does not offer a complete service. On time and on budget. Disappointment was when I called later to request service with a leaking tap and never heard back. He obviously cherry picks the jobs he wants and ignores you when it suits him. Will not use him again.

Alan dismantled and rebuilt the shower in our guest suite. It was a tricky job due to the nature of the old installation, but Alan showed great determination to finish the job in budget and with a good outcome. This comprised the installation of a new shower base, re-tiling the walls and cladding the door and ceiling. Improvements to ventilation were also facilitated.

Alan removed our old leaky and unreliable shower, replaced the broken drain, fitted a very good new cubicle and showerhead, and a new header tank system so that there was enough water pressure for the shower to work all the time. He did this on time and on budget. We are delighted with the work.
