Alaskan have been brilliant right from the advice through to the replacement of windows. We chose Alaskan after getting couple of other quotes, on the basis of their quality and cost competitiveness. Right from the outset, their price were competitive, unlike other competitors who were constantly haggling with their prices. The team who replaced the windows, truly acted as a team - this team had individuals with experience of installing windows for more than 20 years - which was evident in the end result. The Alsakan Windows team was great. Arrived on time tidied up afterwards and quality of work is exceptional. Even went out of their way to ensure windows fitted in a tricky bit next to our kitchen cabinet. Very good would definitely recommend them.

We had a porch and composite door fitted. The quality of product is good however, the finish of the workmanship was awful. Very disappointing. Bits of blue all over the doors, sticky labels inside the glass of the doors & handles, bits missing from the doors, paint splashes on the frame.

Halfway through the decoration of the Hall, Landing and stairs we decided to have the Landing window replaced, so we called the window company who carried out work for us before. From the time of 1st visit to measure and the fitting of the window was less than two weeks which had no impact on the decoration. We have no complaints with this company in any way and fully endorse them and well worth the 5 stars.

Recommended by a friend, Alaskan were a joy to do business with. Really high quality windows (the house is so much warmer), about the price we were expecting and with no sales pressure. The guys who did the work took great care in fact everyone we dealt with was straightforward, clear and helpful. There were a couple of minor glitches (one window was made as a split pane not single and one window lock was very stiff). Alaskan could not have been more proactive and helpful. All was sorted swiftly and without quibble. Highly recommend Alaskan. Thank you.

Cannot fault the service of this company - always polite and helpful and never felt like we were being pushed into buying. Competitive, honest quote from the start with none of the ridiculous negotiating that comes with some of the larger, national companies. Appointments were kept and the fitting itself was done very professionally in the time specified. We are very happy with our new windows - they look great!

My wife & I are very happy with Alaskan Windows. We wanted a firm that would we could put a 'face to' and one that we could trust with our biggest asset. We got just that. Alistair & Douglas were clearly on the ball, backed up by Nikki in admin; we could tell that they really cared that we got a great outcome. The product looks perfect & in keeping with the Edwardian architecture, the units feel like one of those German cars that are made with reassuring precision. We had a minor hitch in the measuring of a difficult space, and they were 'all over it' to ensure it was perfect. So if there was a problem I'm certain they'd do the same for you. My sister, a very discerning homeowner, saw my windows & had Alaskan supply hers. She is very happy too. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

The initial and subsequent consultations with Douglas involved no sales pressure - he was interested in what I wanted from the job, not what he could sell me, and gave what I felt was good honest advice. The installation team turned up on time (actually a bit early!) and were very hardworking, efficient and tidy. Post installation a couple of minor issues were attended to quickly and satisfactorily. The positive reviews on this and other sites were one of the main reasons I chose Alaskan Windows, and they are fully justified. The company is clearly proud of its good reputation, and I would happily endorse that and recommend them to others.
