What stood out for me was the authenticity and honesty of Albany Windows. I went to the showroom, and when I asked for the price of doors I pointed at they just told me the price, without a sales pitch. I like to ponder, and I was just left to do that. I decided the next day to make a purchase and a date and time was agreed for accurate measurements to be made and the determination of door furniture and colour. I was heartened and reassured by the fact that their surveyor would also make a site visit. The door arrived, as they said it would, six weeks later. The fitting was methodical and professionally done, with well honed skills being applied before my eyes. It took about two and a half hours from start to finish and I was 100% impressed. The old door was taken away for disposal and everything was left neat and tidy. Spot on and well done.

We had all of the windows replaced and the whole process was trouble free and with zero pressure to buy. The cost was under what we expected too. They took two days to replace the 8 windows, they were efficient and left no mess at all. The windows look great, love that we could choose a colour rather than just white! The workmen were also lovely, polite and friendly. Can’t fault this company, it’s been a pleasure to deal with them from first contact and through to completion.

I'm really glad we chose Albany Windows to supply and fit a new front door with a side panel. Firstly, the sales process was an eye-opener. None of the "market trader" nonsense we were subjected to previously by others. Options selected, design presented on screen, price quoted - sign here. Job done! Price slightly less than we expected, so all very easy. Six weeks later, the door was fitted as promised without any fuss. And afterwards - proper paperwork! A receipted invoice and Fensa certificate. Albany Windows were recommended to us, and I'm glad we didn't waste any time looking any further!

I would like to say how delighted I am with the second window installation by the Albany team. I contacted them again, having had 1 window installed in May. I really appreciated being able to spread the cost of the windows in this way. The kitchen window now matches the lounge, and the modern single pane style, swing mechanism lets in more light than previously. The team also extended the height of the window by removing a row of bricks, making the sill level with the sink. Has made a huge difference to the amount of light and illusion of space I now have and view of the garden! I have recommended Albany to a friend who is going to contact them soon.

We had our upstairs windows, a large bay window and our porch windows replaced, plus a new front door. From the initial chat in their office, to the end result, we were really happy with Albany's windows and customer service. Christian gave us good advice on elements of the design, whilst keeping to our budget. The guys who fitted the windows and front door were excellent, both professional and friendly. They even adjusted a door fitted by another supplier for free. Our windows and front door look great and we're really pleased with them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Albany and would use them again without hesitation.

We recently chose Albany Windows of Cheltenham in 2025 to install our new composite front door. Previously the same company installed our large patio windows in 2015. Their staff have been professional, and easy to engage with on both occasions, whether a first visit to us to show and discuss their catalogue items, or further on to measure ahead, or the installation day. Our patio windows are still going strong. Early on we had a bit of hassle with the patio lock 'catching' and they came out very speedily and fully sorted it out. This attention to customer care was one of the reasons we choose Albany again this second time. Additionally, we've watched them increase in size and reputation over the years and it helps that they are a well-known and established local firm – we've felt like customers that are actually valued. These are not cheap items to replace, but on both occasions we have felt they provide an excellent product, and given real value for money, supported further by professional guarantees.

I am so glad that I chose Albany Windows to build my new conservatory! From beginning to end, it was a smooth, customer focussed experience. Everyone involved - sales staff, office staff, sub-contractors and the on-site team - was professional, friendly and helpful. I particularly valued the way in which the on-site team proactively kept me updated on project timings and progress. The conservatory itself looks fantastic! Despite the cold, wet weather, the team's attention to detail and quality of workmanship were evident at all stages of the build. My garden was left tidy and the finishing touches to the conservatory were completed promptly and to a high standard. I can't wait to move my furniture back in and start enjoying my new room!

I had my downstairs windows replaced by Albany. All staff were friendly, helpful and professional. No hard selling, windows were installed in a day. I had a minor issue with one of the windows and someone arrived within a couple of days and sorted it. Highly recommended.

I wanted to replace our old polycarbonate conservatory roof with a solid roof. Following advice and suggestions from Christian, I eventually went for conservatory replacement, built on existing half wall, with a solid insulated roof, plastered inside with integral lights. I am so glad I did. The new conservatory is much warmer and feels like part of the house rather than an attachment. The quality of the conservatory and roof is second to none and the professionalism of all the staff, from the office to the installation team is first class. The installers arrived first thing, every day and did full days work (no sloping off!). Any problems with the install were soon resolved, professionally and amicably.

New windows for whole house. Ready ahead of schedule, fitted promptly and work completed efficiently and cleanly in 3 days as promised. One mistake rectified within days. Can't say fairer than that!

2 x PVCu windows supplied and installed. Existing windows removed and taken away. From initial contact to final invoice, everything was done to our complete satisfaction. I am happy to strongly recommend Albany Windows Ltd as a thoroughly professional company. A first class job!

We had both front and back doors replaced at the same time. Everyone we had contact with was very friendly and helpful. The work was carried out efficiently and no damage was done to my newly painted kitchen wall. An unfortunate problem occurred when an electrical cable was cut through (it was in an unexpected place ) they promptly contacted their electrician who came straight away and fixed it....excellent service! There was a slight issue with the door mechanisms which can happen sometimes when the door settles, a service engineer was sent very promptly to do the relevant adjustments. Lovely doors. Would definitely use this company again if we need any windows replaced.

I enquired about a replacement front door from Albany Windows. Their Sales Manager contacted me quickly and arranged a visit to size up the job and to give me a quote. The quote arrived within a few days and was very reasonable. I placed an order and the door arrived six weeks later, as arranged. It was fitted by Tom and Adam who took only a couple of hours to remove the old plastic door and to fit the new composite door. The standard of finish they achieved was excellent and my wife and I were very pleased with the result. Nothing was too much trouble - Tom removed the lock and handles from the old door so that it could be fitted to the current back door. The front door sensor for the burglar alarm system was transferred to the new door without any problem. Unfortunately, an important item of trim had been delivered in the wrong colour. This was reported to Albany's head office by the installation team and another trim was fitted by Geoff a few hours later, which I thought was very impressive.

A full refit done - 8 windows of varying sizes and designs, composite front door, french patio doors and a PVC side door. The estimator and site surveyor were both punctual, friendly and very helpful with useful advice and suggestions. The windows and doors look great and the house looks a lot better and lighter for it. The entire project was completed with no damage and all waste disposed of. The installers were friendly, efficient and left the house tidy each day, a real credit to the company. All done to the quote provided at the start

New composite door and new French doors. Great products, fitted in a timely manner. Cleaned up after themselves. Very professional and very happy with installed products. Upon removal, some of the render came off the blockwork and remedial work was undertaken to replace it. Again extremely happy with the results. Will definitely use again in the future when replacing windows.

Albany is a very reassuring company to deal with. All the staff from reception to fitters were very helpful and pleasant. I received all the information I needed. The price quoted and confirmed was very fair. My composite door with side lights was fitted efficiently and tidily and was completely hassle free. I have no hesitation in giving a full recommendation.

We had 3 of our windows changed to uPVC as the wooden ones were giving notice. From the initial enquiry to completion of the job and payment, I was impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness and competence of everyone involved. The work was carried out on the pre-arranged date and completed to the agreed budget. A minor problem after installation was attended to very quickly and with no fuss. I would have no hesitation in using Albany Windows again.

It’s always great to know that you’ve chosen well, none more so than me deciding to go with Albany for a new front door. It’s a great product fitted by amazing fitters. The meticulous attention to detail that Jeff gave was amazing. There was no get it fitted and disappear. The saying fine toothed comb springs readily to mind when describing how Jeff completed the job. It would be fair to say that Pete played his part too. Thank you both for a job well done. I have just had my conservatory roof changed to a solid roof and the result is excellent. The team arrived on the due date and worked in a professional and efficient way, at the same time very friendly and did everything they could to make sure I was happy with everything. I’ve used this company a few times now and I know I can trust them to do an excellent job. I wouldn’t use anyone else when it comes to doors windows and conservatories.
