We were looking to replace some very old double glazed units and a door, following research I identified Albany windows as a choice, the salesman/surveyor visited our house, we told him what we wanted and when. There was no pressure sales or special offers, gimmicks etc, just plain and simple, this is what we can do and here is the price. Our choice of door would not allow the installation of a letter box due to the amount of glass, this was pointed out to us and a compromise was sorted pretty quick in the style and colour of our choice We agreed the cost which included VAT and Installation and was very reasonable. The work was completed in one day by a team of very polite and professional installers, they turned up on time and got down to business straight away, they showed respect and understanding as we moved around the property to allow the works to progress without us being in the way. The house was left clean and tidy when the work was completed and all the old windows, trims and waste were taken away. We are so glad we chose Albany Windows to do this work for us, what a professional company they are

I am delighted with the installation at my home of 11 windows, a back door, patio doors and a beautiful composite front door which were expertly fitted by Albany Windows Ltd. a few weeks ago. The whole process was efficient and professional, and everyone involved worked as a team, including salesmen, surveyor, the lady in the office and the fitters. They were all friendly and helpful, with no pressure selling or gimmicks. The pricing was fair and transparent. Once my order was completed and the surveyor had measured everything the work commenced three and a half weeks later. I was so pleased to find the fitters well organised, efficient and considerate. They worked in a different area of the house each day, spreading dust cloths first and cleaning up at the end of the day. Each evening they discussed with me the area to be tackled next, which was helpful. When the work was completed on the 4th day they checked that I was satisfied with everything and demonstrated the various catches and locks. A few days later I phoned Albany Windows Ltd about a problem with two roller blinds they had removed and replaced after the windows were completed. The following day a fitter came and sorted out the problems, which was very impressive service. They have insured their work for me with FENSA for 10 years, in case they cease trading themselves, which is reassuring. I have nothing but praise for Albany Windows Ltd which is a great local company with high standards and dependable.

Albany supplied and fitted our kitchen door 12 yrs ago, and we had an issue with locking it easily. Having made an appointment with Albany, Jeff arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and speedily made the necessary adjustments. He also made a separate trip to collect some rubber door edge strips and returned to fit them a short time later. We appreciated very much how the issue was sorted out so efficiently. Thank you so much Jeff! The door is now secure and he has given us peace of mind. We have no hesitation in recommending Albany Windows for their professional workmanship and after-sales service.

I’m really impressed with the new windows and doors fitted by this company. The whole experience was smooth and stress‑free. The fitters were polite, hardworking, and took real pride in their work, and made some recommendations we hadn’t thought of. The finish is brilliant — everything looks modern, secure, and really well fitted. It’s made such a difference to the house already. Albany Windows have been a pleasure to do business with. They transformed our old glass roofed conservatory into a fabulous garden room with a solid roof, to include 3 glass panels for light. We are absolutely delighted with it! An excellent job carried out by an excellent team! Nothing was too much trouble, they kept us informed of progress, were respectful of our property, cleaned up after themselves and kept smiling despite the dreadful weather!

What stood out for me was the authenticity and honesty of Albany Windows. I went to the showroom, and when I asked for the price of doors I pointed at they just told me the price, without a sales pitch. I like to ponder, and I was just left to do that. I decided the next day to make a purchase and a date and time was agreed for accurate measurements to be made and the determination of door furniture and colour. I was heartened and reassured by the fact that their surveyor would also make a site visit. The door arrived, as they said it would, six weeks later. The fitting was methodical and professionally done, with well honed skills being applied before my eyes. It took about two and a half hours from start to finish and I was 100% impressed. The old door was taken away for disposal and everything was left neat and tidy. Spot on and well done.

We had all of the windows replaced and the whole process was trouble free and with zero pressure to buy. The cost was under what we expected too. They took two days to replace the 8 windows, they were efficient and left no mess at all. The windows look great, love that we could choose a colour rather than just white! The workmen were also lovely, polite and friendly. Can’t fault this company, it’s been a pleasure to deal with them from first contact and through to completion.

I'm really glad we chose Albany Windows to supply and fit a new front door with a side panel. Firstly, the sales process was an eye-opener. None of the "market trader" nonsense we were subjected to previously by others. Options selected, design presented on screen, price quoted - sign here. Job done! Price slightly less than we expected, so all very easy. Six weeks later, the door was fitted as promised without any fuss. And afterwards - proper paperwork! A receipted invoice and Fensa certificate. Albany Windows were recommended to us, and I'm glad we didn't waste any time looking any further!

I would like to say how delighted I am with the second window installation by the Albany team. I contacted them again, having had 1 window installed in May. I really appreciated being able to spread the cost of the windows in this way. The kitchen window now matches the lounge, and the modern single pane style, swing mechanism lets in more light than previously. The team also extended the height of the window by removing a row of bricks, making the sill level with the sink. Has made a huge difference to the amount of light and illusion of space I now have and view of the garden! I have recommended Albany to a friend who is going to contact them soon.
