About
Albany Windows is a family business, small enough for Peter Knox and his son Nathan to have close involvement and tight control over very high installation standards and service, but big enough to obtain supplies directly from large high quality manufacturers of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors and conservatories.
Whatever your requirements, we have glazing options for every need and budget, and welcome all sizes of project from a single window to a large house full of windows and big conservatories. We also supply some local builders of high quality homes with their glazing requirements.

We had two sets of French doors and a front door fitted. we wanted to support a local company and have been completely satisfied with the service offered by Albany Windows. We were offered a wide range of styles and colours and provided with a quotation soon after. There was some delay in the process from ordering to fitting but are satisfied that this was due to circumstances beyond the control of Albany Windows. Once in stock, the doors were fitted within the day by three competent fitters who clearly take pride in their work and respected our property. The doors have been fitted to an excellent standard and we are very happy. We will definitely be using Albany Windows to replace our windows in the future.

Decided to install six double- glazed windows to replace originals and chose Albany Windows to avoid large national companies with poor reputations. There were no pressure-selling techniques, unbelievable discounting or even requests for upfront payments. They were quick to respond to an initial phone call and the subsequent quote was comprehensive and detailed. Upon acceptance a survey and measurements were soon undertaken. The schedule overran a bit, but the installation process was quick and clean with a minimum of disruption and the fitters cleaned up admirably at the end. The quote was adhered to and there were several payment options available. Would employ again and recommend this company.

We recently had new PVCu Flush bay windows and a normal PVCu window done and have been very happy with the service provided. Really great service. Window and bifold bought. Super quick to come and measure up and get quote to us. Really helpful advice on choosing finishes and options. Totally 100% happy with the product. Also extremely grateful for help given over a problem with the building renovation that impacted the window. No fault of Albany AT ALL but they helped us to resolve even though it meant coming back after initial installation. Really grateful and we will definitely buy from them again.

Placed order for 9 PVCu Windows and 1 PVCu Patio door in June. Delivery and fitting was estimated around 6/8 weeks but was delayed until October due to supply issues which we appreciated and had no issue with. Fitters did an excellent job and we were most impressed with their work ethic. They also did an excellent job cleaning up. One small problem with patio door (blocked drainage holes) Fitter came back within 5 days and sorted it out. We are overall very pleased with the finished job and would recommend Albany Windows to provide a quality product at a reasonable price.

After they fitted a single window during our kitchen refurbishment Albany fitted three upstairs windows and a patio door downstairs. They had been recommended by a friend and other reviews were positive. The installation was completed at short notice as they had a spare slot. The installers arrived on time and the work was done within the day. They were courteous and tidy laying extensive dust sheets and cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. The windows are excellent quality with a special hinge to allow for cleaning of the outside of the opening light. With partial Argon fill to the sealed units we expect good insulation.
