About

Albany Windows is a family business, small enough for Peter Knox and his son Nathan to have close involvement and tight control over very high installation standards and service, but big enough to obtain supplies directly from large high quality manufacturers of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors and conservatories.

Whatever your requirements, we have glazing options for every need and budget, and welcome all sizes of project from a single window to a large house full of windows and big conservatories. We also supply some local builders of high quality homes with their glazing requirements.

As well as being very proud to have been approved as a Which? Trusted Trader we are members of FENSA and Trustmark, so your investment in home improvements couldn't be in safer hands.

Pete was really helpful when we visited to discuss fitting bifold doors and it was good to be able to see examples in the showroom as at that point we were still undecided whether bi folds or patio were the way to go. The measuring and ordering process were efficient and surprisingly no money was requested up front. Information on time scale of delivery was honest - given that we went into lockdown 3 in the middle of our order progressing through the system. An efficient neat tidy job was carried out by the fitters who were pleasant and courteous. Would definitely recommend and use again. Not the cheapest but a fair price.

I chose Albany over another company with very similar price quotes because Albany's suggested the lead time to fitting new double glazed patio doors and kitchen windows was about six weeks as opposed to sixteen weeks quoted by the other company. In the event, because of a cancellation Albany did the job in less than a fortnight. Albany staff were helpful throughout and I'm very happy with the finished product.
