I wasn't looking forward to replacing the windows and doors; perceptions of a hard sell and then patching up wallpaper/paint afterwards made me dread this. I couldn't have found a better company to make me change my mind. Christian and Pete were so informative, knowledgeable and honest about what would look good in our old home. We absolutely love the flush finish on the windows and the new front door has made such a positive improvement on bringing light into our hallway. The installation team were just brilliant - no damage or repairs to wallpaper etc. They were so careful and considerate, we were delighted. The service surpassed all of our expectations. So much so that we have booked them to install the last door and large window too. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the Albany Windows Ltd team. Arrived, measured, showed us options, gave quote and left without all the usual over the top offers, etc. Arrived and fitted as agreed. Excellent product and job. We recently had new PVCu Flush bay windows and a normal PVCu window done and have been very happy with the service provided. We shopped around a bit but were very happy from the first conversation about what we were looking for to the work being completed. Very professional team and highly recommended.

Placed order for 9 PVCu Windows and 1 PVCu Patio door in June. Delivery and fitting was estimated around 6/8 weeks but was delayed until October due to supply issues which we appreciated and had no issue with. Fitters did an excellent job and we were most impressed with their work ethic. They also did an excellent job cleaning up. One small problem with patio door (blocked drainage holes) Fitter came back within 5 days and sorted it out. We are overall very pleased with the finished job and would recommend Albany Windows to provide a quality product at a reasonable price.

We obtained four quotations for a new back door and chose Albany who were quick to respond, with an uncomplicated sales pitch, a competitve price, a short lead time of 4 - 6 weeks and required no deposit. A follow up survey preceded the installation which took place within the estimated time, without fuss and the room/outside area was left clean and tidy. All the Albany personnel were polite and easy to deal with and we are very happy with the the overall quality of the finished job. Thank you Albany, certainly a company to recommend.

We had some new windows fitted by Albany at the end of September. The work required brick, block work and plastering. All complete to a high standard. The level of care taken to protect carpets and furnishings was exceptional. Will be in touch next spring to have more windows. Thanks to all at Albany.

I'm delighted with my new composite front door recently fitted by Albany Windows. From my initial visit to their showroom, through to final installation, everybody I dealt with was friendly and efficient, with no pushy sales techniques. The installation itself took less than half a day, with everything left neat and tidy at the end. I'd be happy to recommend this company, and am indeed likely to use them again for some replacements windows.

Albany have supplied and fitted our new front door. From the start they were helpful and efficient. The door arrived on time and as they'd had a cancellation, it was fitted a week earlier than expected. Fitting was quick and clean I'd have no hesitation in recommending them and if we ever need new windows, they'll be my first port of call.

New composite door and new French doors. Great products, fitted in a timely manner. Cleaned up after themselves. Very professional and very happy with installed products. Upon removal, some of the render came off the blockwork and remedial work was undertaken to replace it. Again extremely happy with the results. Will definitely use again in the future when replacing windows.

We had 3 of our windows changed to uPVC as the wooden ones were giving notice. From the initial enquiry to completion of the job and payment, I was impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness and competence of everyone involved. The work was carried out on the pre-arranged date and completed to the agreed budget. A minor problem after installation was attended to very quickly and with no fuss. I would have no hesitation in using Albany Windows again.

We recently chose Albany Windows of Cheltenham in 2025 to install our new composite front door. Previously the same company installed our large patio windows in 2015. Their staff have been professional, and easy to engage with on both occasions, whether a first visit to us to show and discuss their catalogue items, or further on to measure ahead, or the installation day. Our patio windows are still going strong. Early on we had a bit of hassle with the patio lock 'catching' and they came out very speedily and fully sorted it out. This attention to customer care was one of the reasons we choose Albany again this second time. Additionally, we've watched them increase in size and reputation over the years and it helps that they are a well-known and established local firm – we've felt like customers that are actually valued. These are not cheap items to replace, but on both occasions we have felt they provide an excellent product, and given real value for money, supported further by professional guarantees.

Albany Windows have been a pleasure to do business with. They transformed our old glass roofed conservatory into a fabulous garden room with a solid roof, to include 3 glass panels for light. We are absolutely delighted with it! An excellent job carried out by an excellent team! Nothing was too much trouble, they kept us informed of progress, were respectful of our property, cleaned up after themselves and kept smiling despite the dreadful weather!

I needed to replace a backdoor and toilet window with double-glazed units. From the beginning, Albany Windows were responsive and very helpful - also making really useful suggestions. I felt they provided a 'personal touch'. I expected to wait a while for a confirmed installation date, knowing how difficult it can be these days for materials/units to be available; but it was all installed during one morning only 4 weeks after the measuring-up day. The installation team carried out the work efficiently and with little intrusion. They did a great job. I am delighted with the result, and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Great experience from Albany Windows from start to finish. We had eight windows and two doors replaced from Albany windows, from initial contact, to making an appointment to get a quote, with out any pressure to make a decision there and then. Once accepted quote, final measurements taken the following day, windows and doors ordered. Appointment made for installation days, turned up when they said they would. Very pleasant fitters, told us exactly what they had planned for the day and got on with it. Dust sheeting where ever they were working and respected our property. Always left rooms clean and tidy when windows were completed. Good quality windows and doors, very secure. Would highly recommend Albany windows.

I enquired about a replacement front door from Albany Windows. Their Sales Manager contacted me quickly and arranged a visit to size up the job and to give me a quote. The quote arrived within a few days and was very reasonable. I placed an order and the door arrived six weeks later, as arranged. It was fitted by Tom and Adam who took only a couple of hours to remove the old plastic door and to fit the new composite door. The standard of finish they achieved was excellent and my wife and I were very pleased with the result. Nothing was too much trouble - Tom removed the lock and handles from the old door so that it could be fitted to the current back door. The front door sensor for the burglar alarm system was transferred to the new door without any problem. Unfortunately, an important item of trim had been delivered in the wrong colour. This was reported to Albany's head office by the installation team and another trim was fitted by Geoff a few hours later, which I thought was very impressive.

I would like to say how delighted I am with the second window installation by the Albany team. I contacted them again, having had 1 window installed in May. I really appreciated being able to spread the cost of the windows in this way. The kitchen window now matches the lounge, and the modern single pane style, swing mechanism lets in more light than previously. The team also extended the height of the window by removing a row of bricks, making the sill level with the sink. Has made a huge difference to the amount of light and illusion of space I now have and view of the garden! I have recommended Albany to a friend who is going to contact them soon.
