About
Albany Windows is a family business, small enough for Peter Knox and his son Nathan to have close involvement and tight control over very high installation standards and service, but big enough to obtain supplies directly from large high quality manufacturers of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors and conservatories.
Whatever your requirements, we have glazing options for every need and budget, and welcome all sizes of project from a single window to a large house full of windows and big conservatories. We also supply some local builders of high quality homes with their glazing requirements.

We had a replacement conservatory. We were very pleased that Albany Windows turned up when they said they would, kept us informed and did an excellent job. Rain was forecast on the day they started, so they brought enough people to make sure the conservatory was water tight and secure by the end of the first day.

Albany Windows have just completed our conservatory and we are very pleased with the results. From initial enquiry through to them leaving the site, they have been great. All the team were skilled and kept the site tidy despite the weather. Pete Knox kept us informed at each stage and dealt with items as they occurred - no surprises. The quality of work and materials is high and we intend to use them again for replacement windows in the next couple of months. Thanks for a great job.

We had hesitated for many years to replace our wood frame, single glazed door and bay windows because we did not want to spoil the character of our 100+ year old house. Albany's product was superb and very good value. The installation crew were hard working, efficient, courteous and tidy - even preserving us sheets from a 1954 newspaper from the brickwork around the door!

We chose Albany Windows for 2 reasons: firstly, they could do different colours of PVC on the outside and inside of the windows; secondly, we got the sense that the installation team were going to be polite and competent. They lived up to both our expectations and more. The sales process was very low pressure. They didn't take money until the installation was complete and we were happy. We had one small problem with a leak which was to do with our lintel rather than their windows. Nevertheless, they came out and fixed it without quibble. We couldn't be more happy with Albany Windows. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering buying PVC windows. This company breaks the mould when it comes to this industry - they are superb.

About eight months ago we had Albany Windows to supply & install front & back door to our property. We were so pleased with the result that we decided to have all wooden windows replaced with PVC. The service that we received throughout the whole process was second to none. The help in selecting the colours & the design of the windows could not be faulted. The scheduled date for the work was kept to the day. The fitters couldn't be more helpful. All the debris was cleared up & taken away. After searching double glazing firms in the area I settled on Albany Windows. I visited the showroom and really liked the quality of their windows. The staff were very helpful and didn't pressurise me at all. I had all my windows and doors replaced which was a huge job. The work was carried out to a very high standard. We appreciated that there were no high-pressure sales; we asked for a quote, which we received within a few days, and then it was up to us to get in touch, rather than the other way round. The fitters turned up on time, were courteous, considerate and tidy - covering carpets with dust sheets and hoovering before they left. All old windows were disposed of - it was a good job all round. We would highly recommend.

Installed 8 windows, 1 french door, brick work and concrete lintel. Work included. 1) Remove large window in kitchen, remove lower brick work and convert to french doors. Concrete lintel above new door. 2) Bricked up old back door, and converted to window. They worked very hard and the final finish was great. They used the bricks removed from the french doors to brick up the old door and you cant tell which was the old brick work. The guys were very friendly, the quoting are straight forward, and there was no pressure selling. Recommend to all.
