We have just had a number of windows and a pair of French windows fitted by Albany Windows. They are an excellent, professional company who are efficient, quick, exact and with delightful staff - from the surveyor to the fitters. This is the second time we have used them and they repeated the service we had first time round. They quote quickly and came on the day they said they would and finished on the day they said they would. All on a reasonable quotation considering the amount of work and detail entailed. There are no longer any draughts, the house is warmer and it looks clean and well cared for now. It was so good to find a company that does what it says it can with a professionalism and quality of workmanship which is rare these days. We recommend them very highly.

We contacted Albany because they were Which trusted traders and we needed to replace all the windows in our property. Even though we are slightly outside of their 'catchment' area they still gave us a quote - which we accepted. They were professional, efficient and really went the extra mile to get the job completed to our satisfaction. A bespoke stained glass window had to be removed and re-installed within a new double glazed frame and we were really impressed with how they dealt with this task. We are very pleased with the windows they fitted and that they willingly returned to check and make sure that we were satisfied. Neat and clean workmanship.

I needed to replace a backdoor and toilet window with double-glazed units. From the beginning, Albany Windows were responsive and very helpful - also making really useful suggestions. I felt they provided a 'personal touch'. I expected to wait a while for a confirmed installation date, knowing how difficult it can be these days for materials/units to be available; but it was all installed during one morning only 4 weeks after the measuring-up day. The installation team carried out the work efficiently and with little intrusion. They did a great job. I am delighted with the result, and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Great experience from Albany Windows from start to finish. We had eight windows and two doors replaced from Albany windows, from initial contact, to making an appointment to get a quote, with out any pressure to make a decision there and then. Once accepted quote, final measurements taken the following day, windows and doors ordered. Appointment made for installation days, turned up when they said they would. Very pleasant fitters, told us exactly what they had planned for the day and got on with it. Dust sheeting where ever they were working and respected our property. Always left rooms clean and tidy when windows were completed. Good quality windows and doors, very secure. Would highly recommend Albany windows.

Albany have supplied and fitted our new front door. From the start they were helpful and efficient. The door arrived on time and as they'd had a cancellation, it was fitted a week earlier than expected. Fitting was quick and clean I'd have no hesitation in recommending them and if we ever need new windows, they'll be my first port of call.

Getting a quote was simple and easy, and the price was the most affordable of all estimates. We've just had some French doors installed in our kitchen overlooking the garden. From start to finish all the staff at Albany are friendly and very professional. The sales people are not hard sell - they don't spend hours in your house desperate for you to sign up on the day. They assess the job, take all the measurements and advise on the different options. Then they go away and calculate the quote and then that's what you pay. In our experience the quotes are reasonable for the quality of the product and the standard of work carried out. We're really pleased with the finished result, which was done on time and everything left tidy when they left. Last year we had our bay windows and front door done by Albany. This was the first time we had used Albany. Again this was all done to a very high standard, so much so that when it came to getting the French doors this year we didn't even consider going anywhere else. There were some minor snags during last year's job but everything was rectified without fuss or delay. They are very good at what they do and take great pride in working to a very high standard. They are decent people to deal with and even put the toilet seat down after use, so you can't ask for more than that!! We would recommend them without hesitation.

After a bad experience with another Window Company we decided to give Albany Windows a try. From beginning to end the whole experience was stress free. We ordered 7 windows, 1 french doors and 1 front door. Everything was installed within 2 days by a fantastic bunch of fitters. We could not have asked for better and we would recommend Albany Windows to all.

Very patient at the design stage, with different options being looked at. Not at all pushy. Installation team worked very neatly and efficiently. The only minor issue was one of the smallest windows arrived with a crack in the glass, but this was replaced very quickly with no fuss. All in all , a good professional friendly service from start to finish. The invoice was only issued to us once the replacement glass was installed. Rare in this day and age.

I am really pleased with the excellent quality of products and service received from Albany Windows Ltd. I wanted French windows in my downstairs garden room (instead of a picture window). Albany were brilliant from the start. They came almost straight away to give me a (very reasonable) quote. Then fitter Pete, who came to measure up, very politely told me he could do what I was asking, but I wouldn't like it. Did I want time to think about it? He was right. I took his advice. The fitters arrived a few weeks later, took just two days and did a perfect job. No mess. No fuss. First class.

We had Albany windows replace all our windows in our 5 bed house along with the facia boards with the new flush faced windows in Pebble grey, the entire process was done professionally and with attention to detail. I don’t normally praise sub contractors but on this occasion, I am most definitely pleased to do so, they are conscientious and they didn’t rush to get away they were very clearly interested in making sure I was happy with everything they done. We had our 3 bed bungalow completely double glazed including 2 doors. The sales person was informative and helpful and not at all pushy. Surprisingly the cost was on a par with other far less professional companies offering a lesser product. Fitting was carried out by two gents over 2 days and to a high standard. Required some minor remedial work which was carried out promptly. Customer service first class. So impressed that we had no hesitation in using them again to install windows in a garage conversion some months later. Just as helpful even when we had to change some sizes. We had some new windows fitted by Albany at the end of September. The work required brick, block work and plastering. All complete to a high standard. We were given a clear indication of a breakdown of the cost and the expected time the windows would be fitted. The brochure was very informative and gave us a clear indication of the types of windows we could have and any questions we had were answered by the surveyors. We did not pay any money until after completion. The 4 fitters arrived and worked diligently until all windows were completed, even though there were heavy downpours of rain. They were very professional treating our property with respect by covering the floors and clearing any mess made each day, even cleaning the finished windows. We did not need to repair any brickwork or plaster near them. The windows are of a high standard and we are very pleased with the results. The 4 fitters were very friendly and worked hard to finish in the 2 days allocated. We would recommend Albany of Cheltenham to anyone who is thinking of replacing their windows.

We had 5 UPVC sash windows fitted over two days. The process from start to finish was professional and friendly. The quote visit was straightforward and not at all pushy. We obtained four quotations for a new back door and chose Albany who were quick to respond, with an uncomplicated sales pitch, a competitve price, a short lead time of 4 - 6 weeks and required no deposit. A follow up survey preceded the installation which took place within the estimated time, without fuss and the room/outside area was left clean and tidy. Install UPVC French doors and kitchen door. Estimate of time from order to delivery, one month. Yes, within a day or two. Notice of installation, short but acceptable. The company had installed a smart front door a few weeks earlier, which had gone without hitch. The doors appear well made with good security features. The installers were friendly and helpful. A couple of minor faults were dealt with very quickly by the companies trouble shooter. Overall, very happy.

I chose Albany over another company with very similar price quotes because Albany's suggested the lead time to fitting new double glazed patio doors and kitchen windows was about six weeks as opposed to sixteen weeks quoted by the other company. In the event, because of a cancellation Albany did the job in less than a fortnight. Albany staff were helpful throughout and I'm very happy with the finished product.

Whilst replacing the door, they encountered a challenging situation which was resolved, but took longer than had been expected. Nonetheless, the invoice for the installation was unchanged rather than asking us to pay for the extra time and materials to remedy, which was a pleasant surprise. Very happy with the door, although Covid issues restricted some of the colour choices that would have previously been available.

The end result is a great job that will make a huge difference and matches perfectly what was there before. Albany Windows did a good job when they first fitted our French doors, and provided excellent aftercare service when they came round to fix the hinge, which was knocked out of alignment when the wind blew the door open due to our carelessness. We had two sets of French doors and a front door fitted. we wanted to support a local company and have been completely satisfied with the service offered by Albany Windows. We were offered a wide range of styles and colours and provided with a quotation soon after. There was some delay in the process from ordering to fitting but are satisfied that this was due to circumstances beyond the control of Albany Windows. Once in stock, the doors were fitted within the day by three competent fitters who clearly take pride in their work and respected our property. The doors have been fitted to an excellent standard and we are very happy. We will definitely be using Albany Windows to replace our windows in the future.

Decided to install six double- glazed windows to replace originals and chose Albany Windows to avoid large national companies with poor reputations. There were no pressure-selling techniques, unbelievable discounting or even requests for upfront payments. They were quick to respond to an initial phone call and the subsequent quote was comprehensive and detailed. Upon acceptance a survey and measurements were soon undertaken. The schedule overran a bit, but the installation process was quick and clean with a minimum of disruption and the fitters cleaned up admirably at the end. The quote was adhered to and there were several payment options available. Would employ again and recommend this company.

We recently had new PVCu Flush bay windows and a normal PVCu window done and have been very happy with the service provided. Placed order for 9 PVCu Windows and 1 PVCu Patio door in June. Delivery and fitting was estimated around 6/8 weeks but was delayed until October due to supply issues which we appreciated and had no issue with. Fitters did an excellent job and we were most impressed with their work ethic. They also did an excellent job cleaning up. One small problem with patio door (blocked drainage holes) Fitter came back within 5 days and sorted it out. We are overall very pleased with the finished job and would recommend Albany Windows to provide a quality product at a reasonable price.

After they fitted a single window during our kitchen refurbishment Albany fitted three upstairs windows and a patio door downstairs. They had been recommended by a friend and other reviews were positive. The installation was completed at short notice as they had a spare slot. The installers arrived on time and the work was done within the day. They were courteous and tidy laying extensive dust sheets and cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. The windows are excellent quality with a special hinge to allow for cleaning of the outside of the opening light. With partial Argon fill to the sealed units we expect good insulation.

We are extremely happy with the quality and look of the new doors, windows and roofline. The work was completed on time by a skilled and professional team and we were left with no mess and only a small paint touch up after new cement was applied to make good on the outside of 1 window. The quote was as promised the final price even though the price of the products must have increased due to the recent supply shortages due to Covid-19.

We had five windows installed on our property, three were straight replacements but the other two were a complete glazing reconfiguration. From the start there were no pushy sales, just agreed to actions. The initial sales visit was very professional, discussing options, providing choices, and an idea of prices and timescales. We were given a quote that has been honoured throughout. A second visit measured the windows and confirmed the orders when we decided to proceed. The installation team arrived as arranged, were extremely professional, courteous, and consulted on any issues discovered or finishes required. We had one issue with the pattern of the pane which was installed but this was discussed and resolved without any quibble. I would thoroughly recommend the company to anyone.

The service received from Albany Windows has been excellent; I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. I initially contacted Albany to discuss upgrading the conservatory roof and the fitting of some new doors from the kitchen into the conservatory. Peter (the director) clearly knew his stuff and during his initial visit he talked through options with regards to our conservatory roof - whilst his company could not help with the fitting of a new roof (in the end a fibreglass roof was the only option) he was able to quote for and supply and fit new suitable doors and side windows to enable a fibreglass roof to be fitted. Communication has been excellent from beginning to end and timescales clearly communicated and updated throughout. On the day of the install, the fitters turned up nice and early (on time) – I was very impressed with the fitters (team of 3) who were hard working and polite throughout and very tidy in their work. A fourth member of the team arrived towards the end of the installation to check workmanship and that everything was as it should be. You can tell that the doors are of very high quality. We found a conservatory we liked at Albany Windows, Cheltenham and were impressed by the way our initial enquiry was handled. We asked for a quotation, were visited by a member of staff and the price was emailed through on the date promised. When construction started we were very impressed by both the workmanship, attitude and politeness of the staff. They worked quickly, efficiently and cleaned up well each day. This is the second time we have used Albany Windows. We were so pleased with the quality of the workmanship and materials used 2 years ago in building a Conservatory and separate Enclosed Porch for our Front Entrance that we saw no reason to go elsewhere. We were very pleased to see the same team of builders/fitters as previously and they were as efficient as before taking great care to protect all internal carpets and décor when working so that after the job was completed no extra cleaning and decorating was required by ourselves. The job was completed and everything tidied in the 1 and 1/2 days they originally estimated. Amazing performance.

We had 3 bedroom windows replaced shortly after moving in. Although we were still in lockdown, everything from quote to fitting was prompt and competent. There was very little mess with even material dropped on a lower roof cleared away. We are having a further 3 windows replaced by this company as we were so pleased with the job they have done.

Very highly recommended. Albany Windows have just replaced all our external doors and windows with ‘Smart’ anthracite aluminium doors and window frames. The whole process was, from my point of view, trouble free. The measurements were taken, the options discussed, the choices made and confirmed and the order placed. We received and agreed an installation time window, which was honoured, and with up to 5 fitters working at any one time, the complicated job was completed to a high professional standard. Both internal and complicated external remedial work was done together with Albany going to some lengths to match existing surface textures and colours. All the fitters were cheerful, friendly, respectful, competent and tidy. We asked for a quote last year for our conservatory to be rebuilt on the existing base. Albany Windows provided a detail quote which wasn't the cheapest but included everything we were looking for. We only recontacted AW to go ahead with the work this February. They immediately came out to measure up, and were ready to go ahead in 5 weeks. They honoured the existing quote despite some extra work on guttering and electrics. The guys who came were polite, industrious and easy to deal with. They left things tidy each evening. The work was done to a very high standard, with arrangements for finishing of some details easy to arrange. We are very happy to recommend this firm and will certainly hope to use them again ourselves.

I had a new front door and I’m absolutely thrilled with it. The team were all very friendly and helpful. There was no sales pressure either. I was expecting to wait some time for my door with Covid and was surprised at how quickly it was ready, then fitted 2 days later! Pete was really helpful when we visited to discuss fitting bifold doors and it was good to be able to see examples in the showroom as at that point we were still undecided whether bi folds or patio were the way to go. The measuring and ordering process were efficient and surprisingly no money was requested up front. Information on time scale of delivery was honest - given that we went into lockdown 3 in the middle of our order progressing through the system. An efficient neat tidy job was carried out by the fitters who were pleasant and courteous. Would definitely recommend and use again. Not the cheapest but a fair price.

Albany allowed 3 days to fit our 6 new windows and 1 door, but completed in 2 days in the middle of Winter. On arrival they put down dust sheets everywhere to spare the carpets. They were polite and told us what was happening right through the process and then went through all the locks etc. with us on completion. Wherever render or plaster was chipped or had broken, it was repaired ready for painting and it was minimal. The New windows and door look brilliant and are in keeping with our older property and are a quality product. The craftsmen do like tea and biscuits if you have them handy :)

I'd ordered 5 windows and a composite front door. Due to lockdowns etc I'd thought I'd get the installation in the new year but I was really surprised and happy to say they contacted me on a Tuesday at the beginning of December and were able to get it all done on the Friday of the same week! Tom and Dave were professional, friendly, tidy, meticulous and even helped get my car going when the battery had died! They cleared up after themselves and explained everything to me and I've been warmer ever since. No problems at all since then and would happily refer them to anyone. Great price as well.

I chose Albany Windows on the strength of the excellent reviews, I was not disappointed. Having had two bedroom windows replaced one of the team noticed a very small imperfection in the glass of one window (about 1cm long which we may not have noticed!), arrangements were immediately made to replace it without us requesting it.The whole episode from the first phone call to finally completing the work was done in a most friendly and efficient manner, so I would have no hesitation in recommending Albany Windows.

I had a big order of 9 windows and 2 doors and signed up at a decent price back in August, no deposit required. I had to chase it a couple of times as it was 3.5 months until fit commenced, due to delays in manufacture as a result of COVID. This was the only negative; I wish I'd received some communication letting me know the timescale as it changed. The main thing is obviously the windows and the job itself and I have only positives regarding those. Fitters were polite, helpful (answering my many questions!) and worked efficiently and tidily and kept me informed as to what was happening and each item they were tackling. Finished to an excellent standard and look very nice, no cosmetic issues or damage or problems with handles etc. They even laid insulation behind a couple of panels that wasn't part of the job, which I provided. House is now warmer and far quieter, looks nice, especially the composite door which was dearer but far more stylish than those boring old white or brown front doors. So if you're looking for a reasonable price, established company with their own employed fitters rather than contractors and good products I would recommend Albany Windows. Daz

Third time I've used Albany, this time was a build of a conservatory at the rear of my property. Initial meeting was good with expert suggestions made about best options to go for considering my property is fairly small. Prices and plans were clear and didn't go over budget. The guys who built it were really friendly and considerate, again quality of work was great.

The work was done very professionally, the windows look great and make such a difference to the house and the amount of light they let in. Albany Windows supplied and installed an aluminium bifold door and casement window for my extension. I found Albany to be competitive and they provided a detailed quotation which gave me confidence I was dealing with a professional company. When I asked for an amendment to the quotation this was done within 48 hours. Pete from Albany carried out the site survey and helped advise me on the best arrangements for the bifold door opening. He couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. When the door and window were ready, Pete called me to arrange a fitting date which was flexible to suit my availability. The installation team did a great job getting the bifold and window fitted in a day with no issues. The installation was clean and tidy and I was given a thorough run through of how to operate the bifold doors. The install team left no mess and took away all packaging and rubbish. I was delighted with the quality of the bifold and window, they had been fabricated from high quality narrow aluminium sections maximising the glazing area and the operating gear was smooth running and has a substantial feel to it. The insurance backed guarantee was sent to me promptly upon completion. I wanted to use a local established company to have the confidence I would get a quality product and installation, and also that they would be on hand for any aftercare if it were to be required. Albany exceeded all my expectations and I can’t recommend them enough.

Albany windows Ltd recently fitted a large bay replacement window in my bungalow. I was very impressed with their service, including my initial call to their office, a young man coming to give a quote (no hard sell), the surveyor/owner, who carefully measured up and gave me friendly advice, and finally, the two man team who fitted the window. They came on time, were very careful and tidy workers, plus they were polite and friendly too. I am very pleased with the standard of the work, and the quality of the window, and would not hesitate to use Albany Windows Ltd again in the future.

Team on site professional and polite replacing all doors and windows with minimal mess or disruption, working with builder to resolve any issues. Albany team installed our new porch door and it looks good. Slight hiccup with part of lock, but they were back immediately and fixed it. We are very pleased with the result. Prior to placing our order we went along to their showroom and were able to look at 'a real door' to see exactly what we would be getting. All our questions were answered. I had 2 new doors fitted and they did a great job all round. No high pressure selling followed by competent survey and installation. Customer friendly fitters who did a good job and left no rubbish behind.

Installed 8 windows, 1 french door, brick work and concrete lintel. Work included. 1) Remove large window in kitchen, remove lower brick work and convert to french doors. Concrete lintel above new door. 2) Bricked up old back door, and converted to window. They worked very hard and the final finish was great. They used the bricks removed from the french doors to brick up the old door and you cant tell which was the old brick work. The guys were very friendly, the quoting are straight forward, and there was no pressure selling. Recommend to all.

We appreciated that there were no high-pressure sales; we asked for a quote, which we received within a few days, and then it was up to us to get in touch, rather than the other way round.
