About
Albany Windows is a family business, small enough for Peter Knox and his son Nathan to have close involvement and tight control over very high installation standards and service, but big enough to obtain supplies directly from large high quality manufacturers of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors and conservatories.
Whatever your requirements, we have glazing options for every need and budget, and welcome all sizes of project from a single window to a large house full of windows and big conservatories. We also supply some local builders of high quality homes with their glazing requirements.

Our experience, from our initial visit and chat at Albany's showroom to placing an order and then having the work completed, was positive and hassle free. We were given a competitive price to have a new front door and toilet window fitted and were kept abreast of the progress of our order and the eventual day that the work was to be undertaken. The fitters who installed the door and window were professional and courteous and undertook the work to a high standard. We were very pleased with the outcome and would have no hesitation in recommending Albany windows.

After a bad experience with another Window Company we decided to give Albany Windows a try. From beginning to end the whole experience was stress free. We used Albany Windows to replace 6 UPVC windows. They responded quickly and efficiently to enquiries. It only took a couple of weeks from us signing the order to the job being completed. I have just had my conservatory roof changed to a solid roof and the result is excellent. The team arrived on the due date and worked in a professional and efficient way, at the same time very friendly and did everything they could to make sure I was happy with everything. I’ve used this company a few times now and I know I can trust them to do an excellent job. I wouldn’t use anyone else when it comes to doors windows and conservatories.

We have just had a number of windows and a pair of French windows fitted by Albany Windows. They are an excellent, professional company who are efficient, quick, exact and with delightful staff - from the surveyor to the fitters. This is the second time we have used them and they repeated the service we had first time round. They quote quickly and came on the day they said they would and finished on the day they said they would. All on a reasonable quotation considering the amount of work and detail entailed. There are no longer any draughts, the house is warmer and it looks clean and well cared for now. It was so good to find a company that does what it says it can with a professionalism and quality of workmanship which is rare these days. We recommend them very highly.

A full refit done - 8 windows of varying sizes and designs, composite front door, french patio doors and a PVC side door. The estimator and site surveyor were both punctual, friendly and very helpful with useful advice and suggestions. The windows and doors look great and the house looks a lot better and lighter for it. The entire project was completed with no damage and all waste disposed of. The installers were friendly, efficient and left the house tidy each day, a real credit to the company. All done to the quote provided at the start

We had our upstairs windows, a large bay window and our porch windows replaced, plus a new front door. From the initial chat in their office, to the end result, we were really happy with Albany's windows and customer service. Christian gave us good advice on elements of the design, whilst keeping to our budget. The guys who fitted the windows and front door were excellent, both professional and friendly. They even adjusted a door fitted by another supplier for free. Our windows and front door look great and we're really pleased with them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Albany and would use them again without hesitation.

My 93 year old mother needed patio doors replacing, Albany Windows were extremely professional & friendly all the way through the process, from the lovely lady rep who spent time talking with mum, to an understanding of an elderly ladies requirement, to the 2 lovely chaps who installed it with no fuss or mess & also chatted & joked with mum. Whilst replacing the door, they encountered a challenging situation which was resolved, but took longer than had been expected. Nonetheless, the invoice for the installation was unchanged rather than asking us to pay for the extra time and materials to remedy, which was a pleasant surprise. Very happy with the door, although Covid issues restricted some of the colour choices that would have previously been available.

Removed an old plastic conservatory and replaced with new larger one. The whole experience has been very positive. I realise that these things can be like buying a new toy and make you starry-eyed but I really do think the quality of the product and workmanship is excellent.
