Mark only had a photo to go on, but once he was there with a colleague and a ladder he knew exactly what to do, and replaced a 10 M section of soffit in a remarkably short time. Such an improvement!

After three previous expensive roof fix failures from other companies, Mark from Albion Roofing Solutions solved the problem. Internal (plus loft) inspection, as well as a comprehensive external investigation made before discussions resolution and costs, were agreed. Was given good photographs highlighting problems in detail, and pictures were taken throughout the works showing progress. The main leakage problem was fixed before other works commenced - with Mark checking via phone that there was no leakage after a bad rain/wind storm plus checking the loft a few days later. When the weather was stable Mark completed flat roof extension area works, flashing, rotting wood and gutter works, plus checking and adjusting other minor issues to ensure no problems arose post scaffold removal. Albion is professional, straightforward, tidy and Mark is a pleasure to deal with.

Four companies came to look at the problem. One said I needed a whole new roof and it would cost me over £32000.00 pounds. One said no, one didn’t even get back to me after looking at the problem. Mark and his colleague carried out some repair work to some flashing that had come adrift and a crack in a flat roof. We had a leak in our flat fibreglass roof and had a number of roofers come out to look at it. We heard a lot of different recommendations but Mark was the most sensible and straightforward and he explained the solution in a way we could understand (not being builders ourselves). His solution solved the problem by covering the section of the roof where he thought the leak originated and fixing the drainage while also left open the possibility of doing further work without having to undo what was proposed, if the initial work didn't fix the problem. He scheduled the work very quickly and was actually able to fit us in ahead of the scheduled day. He was quick and tidy and finished in a day. From the photos it looks like a very comprehensive job, so we're pleased with the outcome and we would recommend Mark to others.

I had been having problem with leaky roof from of my single storey kitchen extension for a while and contacted 5 companies asking for help over the past 5-6 weeks. However I received one automated response telling me they were handling a huge demand and would try to get back to me in 48h but it didn't happen. Mark came promptly, looked at what wanted doing, took photographs, and sent a detailed costed estimate with alternative treatments. He carried out the work in a day, cleaning moss from the roof, sealing a leak on a flat roof, replacing two gutters and cleaning the rest, and cleaned up afterwards.

Our charity has used the services of Mark and his team numerous times and we have always been more than happy with the results. Mark from Albion was recommended to me as a trusted roofer. I was told by a "roofer" who knocked on my door that my chimney stack was in need of urgent repair. He quoted approx £380. I was dubious about this approach so contacted Mark. He inspected the chimney and said all was fine and no work was needed. He didn't charge me for his time. Our roof sprang a leak. Contacted Albion Roofing and one other. The other got here first and promised a quick quote so I delayed Albion. It took ages for the other company to produce the quote and it came to over £6000. So I contacted Albion Roofing again, Mark came round quickly to take a look, said they could do it without scaffolding because they had training using harnesses. Quoted £700, did it next day. Stopped the leak. Brilliant.

Previously we have used another roofing firm to repair the roof of our mid-terrace following a building purchase survey. However during the recent heavy rain, we discovering new leaks in an area which was supposedly okay (also we weren't happy with their site reliability). Looking for an alternative roofer, I came across Albion Roofing Solutions. Mark come over to quote the job, located where the water was penetrating and provided a temporary fix. His quote to permanently fix the problem was reasonable and we agreed to get it done as soon as possible. Mark and his labourer turned up onsite as scheduled and completed the work to a high standard (the new lead was securely fastened and render nicely finished) - the leaks have stopped. At the same time Mark replaced a missing baton above a velux window, addressed an annoying leak down a sealed chimney and proposed/implemented a sensible extension of the guttering between the front peak roof and roof over the back of the property. Having faced difficultly finding reliable tradespeople since purchasing our property, I can confidently recommend Albion Roofing Solutions, and have already done so with a neighbour with a leaking flat roof. Mark and his team came to replace four downpipes. He also discovered shoddy work completed by a cowboy that was unfortunately recommended to us and fixed it. He stayed late in the evening to finish the job and completed the work to a very high standard. The price charged was very fair and competitive (we received lots of quotes).
