About
Alcon Electrical Installations has been established since 2008 and is jointly owned by business partners and brothers, Adam and Craig Ward.
With more than 25 years of combined electrical experience the company cover all aspects of electrical work including both commercial and domestic projects. We offer our clients a personal and bespoke service which will cater to their specific electrical needs.
Over the years we have built up a vast network of clients including domestic homeowners, landlords, property management companies, building contractors, care homes, logistical companies and various other types of commercial businesses. Most of our clients find us through word of mouth and recommendation and have provided us with several testimonials to vouch for our services.
We pride ourselves on our professional approach and our ability to provide a high quality installation and service.
Alcon’s electrical contractors are all City and Guilds qualified and the company is accredited with the NICEIC.

Alcon’s Craig did a terrific job outlining options for a revamp of sockets in our home office, explaining what each choice would mean for 1) cost and 2) impact on amount of work required. On the day, he outlined exactly what he would be doing, how long it would roughly take (v useful as it meant lack of broadband for a short while) and what I could expect from the final work in terms of trunking and aesthetics. The finished job was fantastic; exceptionally thorough, brilliantly professional and v tidy to boot - can’t recommend enough.

Craig was responsive to emails and quoted by email after I sent photos. Arrived on time, discussed the job, and installed new bathroom heater as agreed. Tidy trunking of wiring from outside the bathroom. Friendly, efficient and neat. Price slightly lower than email estimate so... all good!

My family has used Craig and Adam for several years for various domestic jobs (including electrical wiring testing; fitting new kitchen lights etc) and we have always been very impressed with them. They are highly professional - responsive, friendly, reliable and arrive promptly. They always do a lovely job and have great ideas and solutions too - thoughtful as to cost as well as what looks nice and works well practically. They work very efficiently and tidy up afterwards. They also clearly explain what they are doing and patiently answer any questions. Invoices match pre-agreed quotes. Craig and Adam advised and completed a range of works to upgrade our electrics both inside the house and the garden. In addition they installed a charging unit for our Tesla car. I had a full Electrical Installation Condition Report which was carried out over the entire house. I was informed of the work that needed doing to bring everything up to a satisfactory standard. I felt confident with the work they told me that needed to be done. I needed a new fuse box and various sockets installed and new outside lights. My fuse box is now labelled properly and they explained everything to me. I now know where to go if I need any more work done.

Alcon Electrical are fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend them: we have used Alcon in our previous properties and when moving to our new house and facing a variety of electrical issues internally Alcon we’re very responsive and able to attend the property within a couple of days. As usual, they provided a clear quote, timeframe for the works and parts and we’re able to fit us in for the works asap. Alcon are very professional and trustworthy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. They work to the timelines and quote agreed, and clearly communicate any new issues that are uncovered. We also used Alcon to install outdoor lighting in our back garden and they did a brilliant job. Great recommendations of where to place lighting for maximum effect, what type would work best and totally invisible during daytime - really very pleased with how it all turned out I’m planning on getting them booked in for the electrical installation for a new air conditioning unit soon.
