Alcon Electrical Installations has been established since 2008 and is jointly owned by business partners and brothers, Adam and Craig Ward.
With more than 25 years of combined electrical experience the company cover all aspects of electrical work including both commercial and domestic projects. We offer our clients a personal and bespoke service which will cater to their specific electrical needs.
Over the years we have built up a vast network of clients including domestic homeowners, landlords, property management companies, building contractors, care homes, logistical companies and various other types of commercial businesses. Most of our clients find us through word of mouth and recommendation and have provided us with several testimonials to vouch for our services.
We pride ourselves on our professional approach and our ability to provide a high quality installation and service.

I first used Alcon to repair an electrical problem with our dishwasher, and Adam had to move the washing machine out to get to the problem. The floor under the dishwasher was uneven, so he levelled it out at the same time. All resolved without any hassle. I happened to mention if he knew of a bricklayer to repair a wall, and he said they had a separate side of Alcon and arranged for his colleague Paul to carry out the work. I highly recommend Alcon and would not look elsewhere.

We needed a number of exterior ground lights to be replaced due to water damage. Craig and his team were great from the outset - initial appointment to assess the work was very prompt and the advice on a suitable replacement to avoid further issues was authoritative. The quoted price was fair. On the day, the work was done quickly and cleanly. Additionally, they identified another issue (with the lights above the front door), diagnosed, sourced a replacement that was better than the original and did the work on the day. We also discussed some additional work (EV charger fitting) - got some good guidance on the best approach. Alcon did a fantastic job and I will certainly book them again for future work. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Engaged Alcon to switch 27 lighting points over to LEDs. Craig's knowledge and professionalism shone through from the start. Asked Alcon to install an electric car charger on my garage. They arrived exactly when they said they would, and the work was done exactly as I wanted it! Didn't leave any mess, the work was done quickly, would use again if I wanted any other installations.

Advice on electric shower wiring
On contacting 3 electricians about melted insulation in a shower switch only Craig at Alcon replied. With the help of photos and clear advice from him we were able to diagnose the cause and I changed the switch myself without the need for a visit. The advice was given freely without charge.

Craig was most efficient and courteous and was a pleasure to deal with. We needed certain light switches replaced which had failed and a new security light and security camera installed. I needed a check on the electrical system in my flat and also wanted two fluorescent tube lights in the kitchen to be replaced with similar LED lights. I found Craig very friendly and helpful and he came to do the work very promptly. He seemed to be very efficient and I am very pleased with the result.
