Chris Alcourt and his team are professional, friendly, hard working and reliable. We were so happy with the advice they gave us and we love our new patio and fencing. They worked efficiently to the schedule and any questions or queries we had were answered with patience and care! We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Chris was very accommodating and helpful when we changed our mind a couple of times before settling on final design. Gave advice when needed and showed us where we could see local examples of his teams work. Job started on time, finished on time and on budget. Chris’s team were very low maintenance, just cracked on with the work, despite the lousy weather . Very pleased with result, would not hesitate to recommend.

We needed our 11 panel garden fence replacing as parts were broken . We had initially decided on an expensive composite replacement but when we met Chris he talked us through all the options and we decided on a feather board fence with replacement posts and new foundations to give the fence more height. I was impressed there was no hard sell to go with the most expensive option . To the contrary when we went through the options he ensured we understood the pros and cons as well as value for money. On the agreed date for the start of the works both the materials and Chris and four of his team turned up on time . They were all polite and respectful of both ours and our neighbours property and gardens. They worked as a team and finished the work in under two days including clearing everything away. Totally professional; good customer service and am so glad I chose this local company

Chris and his team were outstanding throughout the build. They are all very hard workers, work well as an team and are conscientious and tidy at all times. Any minor issues that did come up were dealt with efficiently and Chris was a pleasure to deal with, his communication and regular progress updates were excellent as the project progressed. Alcourt Landscapes are always professional, efficient and work is completed to a high standard. They landscaped our garden 3 years ago and the level of quality is still clear year later. We asked them back to help with a job that we had unfortunately had a bad experience with a previous company and the work had lasted less than 2 years and was looking worse for wear. Booked a site visit after an initial telephone consultation. Scott turned up on time and discussed the issues involving - 1) 80% replacement of front garden with 20% strip where flowering plants/bushes were to be retained. 2) a dilapidated boundary fence and deep tree/bush roots likely to be encroaching onto our side underground where the digging would take place, on the opposite side of the garden but belonging to the neighbour. 3) Short new wall separating new strip from the pavement. 4) Landing patch at head of the strip for recycling bins. Also, provide booklet with colour pallet for the block paving Invoice provided by Chris quickly after the visit and agreed 15% to be paid upon start of works with balance upon completion. Work undertaken and completed within 3 days. Very happy with the results.

Chris and his team have recently completed building a garden room and various other projects including a patio and fencing. We are extremely pleased with the work which has all been carried out to a high standard. We found everyone at Alcourt to be knowledgeable, conscientious and polite. I can’t recommend Chris and his team highly enough. There was loads of stuff to clear, a lot of ground to level and turf and a large area to pave and somehow they did it all in 5 days and a fantastic job too. They turned up and started the job bang on time when they said they would, did it within the timescale they gave me, were really polite friendly and unobtrusive and left everything really clean and tidy. Top marks all round and a big thanks, I’ll definitely be using you guys again and won’t hesitate to recommend you.

Chris and his team at Alcourt Landscapes have completely transformed and enhanced our property with new paving and fencing and we are delighted with the result. The area at the side of the house had been neglected for at least twenty years. The area had been concreted over twice by previous owners and was uneven and prone to flooding. The area was cleared and compacted clay removed. This was replaced by block paving with built in drainage. The existing paving was altered to provide a seamless finish. The work was completed in the agreed timescale and within the quoted estimate. The team were professional and courteous and worked hard ensuring that I was happy with the end result. Each day the area was left tidy and all debris cleared. The area has been transformed and I would definitely recommend Alcourt Landscapes.

Chris and his team did an outstanding job removing a swimming pool, levelling the garden, turfing the lawn, fencing and paving. The finish was better than our expectations. Alcourt originally landscaped our garden and laid a patio for us. Part of the work included a shed installation but due to material supply issues the shed was delayed. 6 months later I contacted Alcourt to arrange a follow up visit-without delay a date was arranged and as always the team members who carried out the work were great-polite, professional and able to answer all of our questions. It was a great reminder of why we chose Alcourt for this project to begin with and this follow up work has been one of the best examples of customer service we’ve had.

Alcourt Landscapes did a fantastic job replacing my patio. The finished result is absolutely beautiful and a massive transformation. The price was reasonable, Daniel quoted it and was in charge of the whole job, and he and Connor worked very hard, taking great care to consult along the way. They had great ideas, were very flexible and helpful, adjusting really well throughout to what I wanted. Chris Alcourt helped me with ideas of where to go to choose the slabs, which was the hardest part. On the first day, it became apparent that a wall needed to be added due to the hill causing gardens to slide into one another. Alcourts got a brick layer over in a timely manner who was great. I am absolutely delighted with my grey limestone patio with granite sets and edging all the way round. Part of the work was digging up a Bamboo which i then replanted into pots. They kindly chopped it into smaller pieces for me. They completely understood the importance of protecting certain plants during the work and even helped me carefully dig one up to preserve. The patio is finished with railway sleepers which they carried in speedily. When i asked for an extra one they didn't mind at all and there were several other extras i asked for at short notice which they accommodated. They removed the old patio for me and kindly carried some of these to a neighbour's garden at my request. They started and finished on time, putting in an extra day to keep to their schedule which was great. Happy Customer !

Very easy to get a quote from Chris, he didn't come out to the site just quoted by photos and a plan I sent him. He gave us a very reasonable price and the work was carried out to a good standard. A curved 6-metre path. We would like Chris to do some more work for us in the future.

Chris and his team installed about 25 metres of fencing. They did a great job, with some particularly challenging tree roots and stumps. They did a great job, looks brilliant. Thoroughly recommended. This is the 2nd job we have used them for, previously did our drive and a patio area. Really excellent works.

Landscaping to rear of garden, infill of large pond and walk down bog garden plus new Indian sand stone laid and sleeper, great team of worker nothing too much trouble when I made some changes to the project, works all completed on time. would definitely recommend.

Very good job overall. No complaints so far. We made some alterations to original design post quote and changed mind on drainage option for part of patio but Chris accommodated this for us effortlessly. I’m thinking of having front garden done and would ask Alcourt to quote first.

When our old brick garden wall partially fell down and became hazardous in the recent storm, Chris came straight round to assess the situation and give advice. The same day he and his team made the area safe by removing the necessary unstable brickwork. Then over the next few days the wall was repaired at a suitable height (is is a retaining wall) and a new fence was put up. All work was done to a high standard and all the team were pleasant and very professional. Highly recommended.

An extremely talented landscaper who interpreted my wishes very thoughtfully in creating a cottage style patio & terraces to match the style of the thatched cottage. First class service all the way, from initial consultation to completion of the job. An old, wide hedge was from removed from the side of the front garden. Concrete boards & posts were installed and finished with fence panels with trellis panels on the top. The work was carried out by a polite, hardworking team and the garden & driveway were left clean and tidy. The job was to dig up and remove old crazy paving and aggregate from front garden and supply& lay new limestone paving over whole area. Samples were sent to me by company to confirm choice before job started. The team worked very hard in to get the job done within scheduled timetable. I was consulted throughout. The Alcourt team enlarged our drive from one car's width to two car's widths. They then laid paving blocks to the drive and paths. This included a soak away and edging blocks all round. This was all done within the time schedule and budget as agreed. The team were polite and worked to a high standard. If we had any queries/points these were quickly resolved as the work progressed. They carried out a first class job in all respects. We are now proud of our drive, which is greatly admired by our neighbours and passers by.
