Alex was superb, it’s difficult to find an electrician who you can trust, Alex was extremely tentative throughout the process. I had a new fuse box and other bits of electrical jobs done ready to rent out my property. Alex was brilliant with communication and kept me up to speed throughout the whole process. The timer unit on our stairs light failed and kept tripping the upstairs lighting circuit. Alex came out on the same day, quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem and offered a couple of alternative solutions. Alex replied to my message re electricty tripping out at about 7.00pm within an hour. He was able to send instructions for me to check various things and reinstate the electricity. He followed this up with a visit to my house the following morning and identified the cause of the trip, my washing machine. He was thorough, friendly, wore a mask and kept socially distant and only touched things if essential.

After moving in to our new home we need to do some significant work which required some considerable electrical work. It was quite daunting for us but Alex was brilliant and did everything we needed to the highest of standards. We used him for work all around the house including rewiring in the kitchen a new fuse box and new sockets in the bedrooms. He was always on time and cleaned up after himself. After the job was completed he was always available if we had any questions. I recommend him to anybody who asks for a local electrician. We will always use him for anything we need it’s just finding a time when he isn’t busy!

Alex was able to source & install a security light with a sensor to provide additional light in a poorly lit porch area. He’s very approachable, came when he said he would, carried out the work with minimum fuss and disruption. I am very pleased with the results and his standard of work & would happily recommend & will be happy to use again.

We have used Alex numerous times and have always been extremely pleased with his work. Alex has fitted a shower, tiled our bathroom, hung doors and installed electrics throughout the house to a very high standard despite the difficulties of an older property. He is highly skilled and shows exceptional attention to detail, quality and finish that is rare in our 20 years of experience with tradesman. He is very reliable and is conscientious in terms of any follow up visits needed for the inevitable and unforeseen snags (not as a result of his work I should stress) which is invaluable. He is also highly qualified in his trades and I would strongly recommend him for a wide range of jobs. The best and most conscientious tradesman we have used.

I found Alex through this site and have to say he lived up to his reviews! I was in the middle of a major bathroom rebuild and needed a new shower cable installed from the fuse box, plus the shower itself and the switch. I also wanted to change the use of the immersion circuit as I wouldn't need it but wanted it for an under-sink heater - Alex completed all the tasks very quickly and with super efficiency. His suggestions as the work progressed certainly ended up with a far more elegant solution than was in my head at the outset! Alex is a great bloke and I cannot recommend him too highly - I shall certainly be using his services again. Thanks Alex!
