This is the second time I've used Alex. He fitted a new front door last year. This time he fitted 3 new windows. The team arrived on time and carried out the work to the usual high standard. The quote he provided was very competitive. The team cleaned up thoroughly before they left. As we continue with our house project we will not hesitate to use Alex again.

This is the second time I have used Alex and his team because I had such a good experience the first time when they replaced my large kitchen window and back door. They have now replaced every window in my house and I am absolutely delighted with the results. Alex and his team were always prompt, worked diligently and went above and beyond the norm to ensure that the end result was everything I could have wished. I don't use the word craftsmen lightly, but I can do so in this case because of their meticulous work. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Alex and his team if you are looking for the best.

Alex Dobson personally replaced all the windows and doors in our 1970's detached 4 bedroomed house. This included a new front door, a pair of very large patio doors and triple glazed full wall sized window. I would highly recommend Alex Dobson. His work is of a very high standard and he works very hard. He ensures that each room is completed in a day, to minimize disruption and discomfort. He is helpful and courteous, always arrives on time and completes work within the agreed timescale. He does not put you under any pressure for extra work. He goes the 'extra mile' to ensure customer satisfaction; in my case he created, from scratch, a neat platform for my cat to help her access the cat-flap! The materials he uses are of high quality. The end result was excellent. A terrific contractor!

I had a unit of windows and French doors replaced. Good start as there are no pushy salesman to deal with. When quoting Mr Dobson made practical and sensible suggestions about how to deal with the tumble dryer vent and sink drain and changing the layout of the unit from the original. He was clear about when the work could be done and gave me ample notice of his starting date. Quote was a good price. He and his colleague turned up on time; they were quick and tidy workers; paid attention to detail; and cleared up well when they'd finished. The unit itself is well made and solid. I cannot recommend the firm highly enough - a pleasure to do business with.

Very happy with the way Alex and James carried out the work and I'm pleased that we went to a small local company rather than one of the major ones. Work was carried out exactly on schedule and to the agreed budget. In spite of the filthy weather on the day, they ensured a minimum of disruption and mess. Both were hard working and a pleasure to have in the house. In addition to replacing our front windows, they willingly did a few extra jobs on niggles we had with existing doors. They couldn't do one of these as a new part is needed, Alex is seeking this and will come back to do the final job if he is successful.
