Alex fitted my new front door and did a thoroughly professional job. From selecting and ordering the door to the actual fitting of the door, Alex was a true professionals. Our Monarch aluminium conservatory has had a polycarbonate roof since being built 25 years ago. We decided that an upgrade to glass panels would improve both temperature control and appearance of the roof. Mr Dobson was prompt to reply to enquiries, and of the quotes we received, was the most competitive and he offered sensible advice as it was not really necessary to replace the whole roof! The existing polycarbonate panels were templated on one visit and then the Activ Blue glass panels fitted a few weeks later. The roof has been completely transformed by this glass and now gives a modern airy look to the conservatory. We highly recommend this company.

Alex and Gary have been replacing doors and windows for many years and that tells its own story. I received 5 quotes for the work and Alex stood out from the rest. Calm, knowledgeable, punctual, and by no means the most expensive, he always followed up on what he said he would do and didn’t expect me to pay 90% of the final invoice price, before work had even started, unlike many of his competitors. The quality of the doors and windows they fitted, despite mistakes made by the factory, some of which cost Alex, was as he had promised - excellent. The quality of the installation by both him and Gary - faultless. Even the small things - the making good and tidying up was done without fuss and done with care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alex and Gary. A fine team who deserve every success that comes their way.

I had seen Alex's windows and doors completed on several neighbours who highly recommended Alex so I was confident before meeting Alex in the process of obtaining several quotes that I would be very happy if I went with Alex. It was very evident that Alex was highly experienced (>30 years doing this( when he came to measure up and very likeable and someone who would do what they said. That Alex would be directly involved in the fitting further inspired confidence. My personal preference is always to use those who own and run their own business for obvious reasons rather than a company where the quote provider will not be the fitter etc. Not only was Alex the lowest quote, but also the highest specification and also the only provider who could provide two more complex arched windows. Alex required a 25% deposit to place the order and nothing would be payable until everything was completed to my absolute satisfaction. Alex kept me appraised to the progress of the manufacturing during the lead time and Alex and the team (he has worked with Gary for over 30 years too since setting up the company) and his son, Jay, who is also clearly very experienced. The three work together very nicely and where there are just the three of them in the company you can be sure who you will get and therefore the quality. They all worked very hard and with great care. I could not be happier. The windows look very smart and the difference in warmth to the old windows is chalk and cheese.

The lead time to installation was much quicker than we expected. On installation day the team were at our front door exactly at the time agreed. This is the second time I've engaged Alex for window replacement. It was an easy decision based on the previous positive experience. This time round Alex and his colleague swapped an old bow window for a plant-on bay window making a huge difference to our property. Alex was helpful and patient during the design decision-making process and once a date was set for the work, it didn't change. Their work was top notch - from the thorough application of dust sheets and floor protection, care with the old window removal to minimise disruption and the ensuing making-good, to the final touches and clean up at the end. We will be using him again for future jobs that we have planned. Highly recommended!

I asked Alex to replace all the windows in my house, a big job. From the start, Alex was professional, thorough and knowledgeable. During the time from placing the order and the arrival of the windows for fitting, Alex kept me informed of the progress at the factory, delivery day and what I should expect once he and his team came on site. His customer service ethic is outstanding. The job was completed on time. On the last day, Alex and Gary tidied up everything and took away the old windows and frames, leaving me with the new windows in a tidy home. I’m delighted with the new fitted windows - they look even better than I expected!
