Alex and his colleague recently fitted our new front door and I am so happy with the whole procedure. The quote we were given was very reasonable. I also had a few questions that Alex answered without hesitation. On the day of installation Alex arrived on time and got straight to work. The process was stress free and very professional. A stone, catapulted from the lawn mower, completely smashed the fixed window of our patio door. We obtained a few quotations from local companies, including the firm which initially had installed the patio door, which turned out to be the most expensive. We asked Alex to replace a square bay window, hallway window and front door. From our initial meeting, he was friendly, helpful and flexible. We already had our sights set on a particular brand of window and Alex was able to accommodate. For the door, Alex made recommendations and clearly explained the pros / cons of each option. Once we had made a decision, Alex and James were able to start work much quicker than I had expected. They were friendly, tidy and completed the work to an exceptionally high standard. What really struck me was the attention to detail; spotting and rectifying any imperfections without needing to be asked. I can be quite particular, so this was something I valued immensely. If I spotted something, Alex never made me feel like I was being picky or unreasonable (as I have felt with some tradespeople!) and was quick to offer solutions. Other little things, like the use of 4 or 5 different kinds of sealant to ensure the best finish, discreet plastic trim (instead of the large trims some fitters use), the care taken to get perfect mitres on the window board, to name just a few, speak volumes of the pride that Alex and James take in their work. Since having the windows and door fitted, they have been admired by many visitors; one was so stunned by the quality of workmanship that they started to doubt their own choice of fitter! I had a unit of windows and French doors replaced. Good start as there are no pushy salesman to deal with. When quoting Mr Dobson made practical and sensible suggestions about how to deal with the tumble dryer vent and sink drain and changing the layout of the unit from the original. He was clear about when the work could be done and gave me ample notice of his starting date. Quote was a good price. He and his colleague turned up on time; they were quick and tidy workers; paid attention to detail; and cleared up well when they'd finished. The unit itself is well made and solid. I cannot recommend the firm highly enough - a pleasure to do business with.

The team turned up on time (early actually) and delivered high quality work putting in two doors in a morning. We had 16 windows, a utility room door and front door with Alex. He allowed us to send pictures of windows and doors we liked and he then matched them for us.
