Triple Glazed the whole house (17 windows) and a new front door Moved into new area with no Knowledge of good tradesmen. Came across Alex Dobson. The Outfit understood customer focus and conception to completion. We found him patient, helpful and knowledgeable on design and product. Comfortable to go with him against the big boys in the industry based on cost and trustworthiness. Excellent at what he does and tidying up after himself. Completed within the time promised. When we called back over a manufacturing fault Alex turn the next day and promised a replacement window. One the best tradesmen I have ever dealt with, no stories, no shortcuts. A mutual respect all round. Happy to recommend him to my grandmother and others.

Alex replaced my old timber front door with a composite door, replaced a wooden back door and side garage door for two new uPVC doors and replaced two wooden single glazed windows with new double glazed windows. I was very happy with the service from start to finish. Alex was very helpful in recommending the designs/options. He worked very efficiently and to a high standard. I would recommend his services. Alex and his team were so fantastic in replacing our windows and doors! They were prompt, polite, incredibly clean and tidy and we are so pleased with the finished work. The patio doors, kitchen stable door and front door are all flawless and the finish and sealing on all the windows and doors is perfect. The amount we paid was the exact quote we were given and there were no hidden costs. Alex and his team are definitely perfectionists! Very happy with the way Alex and James carried out the work and I'm pleased that we went to a small local company rather than one of the major ones. Work was carried out exactly on schedule and to the agreed budget. In spite of the filthy weather on the day, they ensured a minimum of disruption and mess. Both were hard working and a pleasure to have in the house. In addition to replacing our front windows, they willingly did a few extra jobs on niggles we had with existing doors. They couldn't do one of these as a new part is needed, Alex is seeking this and will come back to do the final job if he is successful.

Mr Dobson replaced a set of UPVC white French Doors (opening inwards) in the upper floor lounge in my home. The original French Doors had been installed when the house was build and so the entire frame had to be sawn out and removed, which was done very efficiently. The installation of the new French Doors followed and the result was immaculate. The work was completed in one morning for the exact price quoted. Mr Dobson and his colleague were very courteous and cleaned up very tidily after completing the work. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Some friends recommended Alex when we moved house and wanted all our windows and front door changed. We got some other quotes anyway but Alex was very reasonably priced. He was very accommodating with all our changes and indecisions too. Communication was very clear and installation dates were actually quick compared to the other suppliers we contacted. Onsite, he and his colleague Garry were super efficient, diligent, tidy and really friendly and lovely. They did a really good job and made good nicely. Couldn't recommend Alex more!

The whole house was fitted with new windows and completed within the timescale advised when we placed the order. Both Alex and Gary are very professional and ensured when they fitted the windows, carpets and areas around and through the house were covered. They cleaned up immaculately each day. Alex and his team arrived right on time and worked diligently and carefully to remove a difficult Crittall window and a worn out back door. It took me some time to choose the company to do this work and I am very glad I did so and chose Alex Dobson. Two new UPVC windows installed to replace old wooden windows along with UPVC soffits above these windows at BTL. Tenants were over the moon with Alex and the team who also reinstalled the plantation shutters saving the handyman returning, leaving everything spotless. Have used Alex before so was not in doubt. Alex Dobson personally replaced all the windows and doors in our 1970's detached 4 bedroomed house. This included a new front door, a pair of very large patio doors and triple glazed full wall sized window. I would highly recommend Alex Dobson. His work is of a very high standard and he works very hard. He ensures that each room is completed in a day, to minimize disruption and discomfort. He is helpful and courteous, always arrives on time and completes work within the agreed timescale. He does not put you under any pressure for extra work. He goes the 'extra mile' to ensure customer satisfaction; in my case he created, from scratch, a neat platform for my cat to help her access the cat-flap! The materials he uses are of high quality. The end result was excellent. A terrific contractor!

We contracted Alex to refit our entire house's double glazing to replace a mixture of ages and styles. Alex was very helpful and patient while we were deciding what to do and advised during the selection process. The job itself was done very quickly and in fact finished ahead of time and they were polite, courteous and professional throughout.
