Our two movers were amazing - they took great care of our belongings and packed the van very efficiently. They made an otherwise stressful completion day that bit easier, knowing we didn’t need to worry about the loading and unloading of everything. They also took great efforts to protect our carpets in the new house. Would recommend!

Allen & Young, led expertly by Kelvin, provided a top class excellent service moving us from London to the south coast. Kelvin came and gave us a realistic estimate, stayed in touch through the exchange process, was flexible with dates and provided a packing day which was such a help. His team are skilled friendly efficient and were good humoured and kind to us oldies and our pets. I highly recommend the whole service - they provided protection for our delicate furniture, packing materials, boxes, and were able to load and unload efficiently keeping everything safe and also they made sure we now are able to find everything! I was dreading the removal day and now I will look back on it with gratitude and odd smile. Kelvin and the team are not only fantastic at their jobs they are very nice people to work with.

At short notice, Kelvin provided us with his guys who were considerate, helpful and hard working to move furniture in advance of room redecoration and take away unwanted items. A major headache wiped away in a morning! Highly recommended.

Kelvin and his team did an outstanding job. I booked them to both pack up my property and then on the following day, to move my belongings to the new property. On both days, the team arrived promptly. Worked hard all day. Were courteous, uncomplaining and efficient. In short they were a joy to work with. Very professional service for our move in September 2025. We were extremely pleased with the work done; the team has been very careful when handling the furniture and the boxes. Found Kelvin and his team by chance on Next door. Chose them among five others. Moved a house into two different flats on two different dates. Loved them. The team is great, nice, careful, friendly, respectful, fun. They care, they are creative with constraints, helpful and dedicated. We are absolutely delighted that we consulted Which Trusted Traders and found Allen & Young to move some of my mum's furniture from London up to the northwest. From our first telephone conversation, Kelvin was efficient, courteous, helpful and professional. No difficult web forms to complete. He was able to assess our needs simply from talking them through. There was no unnecessary communication or harassment, just an agreement with follow up email confirmation. This was such a relief after the stress we had experienced from other possible providers. On the day, Kelvin and Andy turned up punctually and showed consummate knowledge and care in the way they handled all the furniture. They gave us an expected time of arrival in the northwest and confirmed a more exact time when they were drawing close. My daughter, who received them at our house, reported that the men were lovely. They carefully sorted and placed things where asked, making the chairs look as though they had always belonged and ensuring items stowed in the hall and garage were treated just as carefully to maintain easy access for us when we returned home. Throughout the process, they were gentle, polite, supportive and understanding. We would recommend them very highly indeed.

Kelvin and the team of movers were exemplary. They were particularly good at dealing with the tensions and indecisions which are part of moving house - calm, relaxed, helpful. It was particularly good that they could dispose of unwanted items of furniture which we really didn't want to have to take with us. Add to that the speed and skill with which beds and furniture were dismantled, taken into a block of flats, manoeuvred into a lift and along narrow corridors. A five-star performance.

Had a great experience with this removal team. They were friendly, professional, and handled everything with care. Our moving day included some uncertainty around completion time, but they responded calmly and flexibly, adjusting their plans without fuss. It made a stressful day much easier. Really helpful and provided a solid, reliable service throughout — would happily recommend.
