AM Builders carried out a full refurbishment of a large bathroom. After stripping out the existing fixtures, they installed a walk-in shower, created recessed shelves, fitted new lighting and they fully tiled the bathroom. The quality of the work (in particular, the tiling) and the attention to detail was outstanding. Jimmy and his team take real pride in their work. The team arrived on time every day and worked very hard. The work was finished on time and to budget. The work was good value for such quality workmanship. Customer service is very good - they promptly sorted out a snag at the weekend. The team was neat and tidy and left everything in good order everyday and at the end. This was my second time using AM Builders and I would definitely use them again in the future.

After being let down by previous builder (unfinished loft conversion) spoke to Jimmy at AM Builders and explained situation We agreed a time and Jimmy turned up exactly when he said he would, he went through everything that needed doing and explained everything in detail and suggested the best way to proceed to put things right. He had to put right all the plumbing and electrics plus the bathrooms and the flooring and also painted the complete property. He said it would take four weeks but it actually took six weeks but charged the initial quoted price. Jimmy and his team did an excellent job and the quality was exceptional I would highly recommend AM Builders job well done thank you.

We had been left in the lurch by another firm and were looking for a new firm to complete work for us. We looked for a local company to carry out the work, thinking that they would start to time & put in a full days work. We asked AM Builders to quote for the work which included making good two built in cupboards, fitting and painting eight interior doors, completing a bathroom installation, enclosing an open staircase to a loft room and building and painting storage cupboards under the stairs. We liked Jimmy when he came to quote. He listened to what we wanted and made useful suggestions. He was clear about the costs and advised where savings might be made. Although his quote was higher than some others, there was something about him that gave us confidence and we asked him to do the work. We were not disappointed. He project managed everything and supplied some of the materials as well as giving us his details so we could to get some items ourselves from a preferred supplier. He was here nearly every day making sure we were happy and checking to ensure the right materials were here so work could progress smoothly. His team are very professional, courteous and hard working. They arrived early, worked hard and always left things clean and tidy every day. We asked for some additional painting to be done (at an agreed extra cost) and this was done extremely well and contributed to a very good outcome for us. As agreed, he ensured the work was finished just before Christmas.

I discussed various building work with Jimmy, including a new bathroom, new stairs for the loft, and a new kitchen. He spent over an hour looking at all the work, giving me lots of information and a rough idea of the cost. He also gave me some valuable advice regarding the best low cost (and low maintenance) options for the work. Fantastic customer service!

We were very happy with Jimmy and the team! We were operating under a tight timeframe to do a total house redecoration and AM completed to the deadline with results we are super happy with. The team did a lovely job with the painting and bathrooms and in addition to the jobs, we asked them to do they were really helpful at fixing other problems that emerged in the course of the project. AM Builders are just amazing! This is now the second time I have used them. Jimmy and his team are great at what they do and the quality in their workmanship from beginning to end is no short of outstanding. Their level of professionalism and expertise is what you would expect for the money you pay. Jimmy came to our house at the exact time agreed and inspected everything thoroughly. We went through all our ideas and he gave us his honest opinions as well as other suggestions and gave us a fair price. There were no corners cut throughout. The whole house was rewired, re-plumbed, plastered as well as a kitchen and 2 bathrooms also fitted, on top of replacing all interior doors, laminate flooring and skirting boards. Jimmy and his team gave us exactly what we wanted and they have really impressed me. They opened up a large wall to create a beautiful open plan kitchen / dining area and made sure the structure was completely sound and within regulations. Materials that were used were of good quality and if there were any concerns or issues that presented themselves Jimmy would always consult us before carrying out the necessary work. I can't thank Jimmy enough for helping us achieve our dream home in the 7 weeks that was agreed and would recommend AM Builders to anyone! I plan to use Jimmy and his team again next summer where we plan to extend up into our loft to create 2 new rooms and a bathroom.

After Consulting with many different Builders, AM Builders really stood out from the Beginning. when we first contacted Jimmy, he came out on time and when it worked best for us. We explained what we wanted done, and he was able to give his professional advice of what was feasible or not. He gave us a good quote, and tried to work to our budget without cutting cost on good materials and quality. Everything we wanted he tried to make happen. Jimmy and his team, fully re-wired and plumbed the whole house, with a new switch board and boiler, they Plastered the full house and installed a new Kitchen, Bathroom, and redecorated all rooms, doors and woodwork. Not only does our house look amazing, Jimmy kept to his word and completed on the time frame he first told us. we are extremely happy with the work AM Builders done we are getting them back in September to build and decorate an extension. we would highly recommend their services.

Jimmy was fast to get back to us and come and give a quote for the work. We had our flooring, skirting and coving replaced with new materials and two doors fully replaced. After which we had both rooms plastered. The quality of the work was really good and Jimmy and his teams really cared about the finished result which made working with them a real pleasure. So much so we asked them to come back after the initial work (Floors/Doors) to plaster for us as well.

I contacted AM BUILDERS regarding some work that needed to be completed before my wife gave birth. Jimmy came around the next day on time and I showed him what we needed done. He put my mind at ease feeling confident he knew exactly what he was doing and reassured me there would be no problem getting the work completed in time. He didn’t just talk, he listened. We agreed on the price and started that week. There were a couple of little surprises under the wall paper once that came off and other things that come with old houses, but Jimmy and his team worked through them and still managed to finish on time. Very happy with the service and is a very well organised team. Very friendly, clean and tidy working tirelessly throughout the day and over the weekend. We have asked them to do the other bathroom and a few more rooms which require full refurbishment once we get settled with the baby. I highly recommend this company, I have passed their details onto my neighbour who has a list of jobs that need to be carried out because Jimmy and his team do everything from big to small. We will be using them to finish all work in our house, but in stages. 10 out of 10

I was really pleased with how thorough Jimmy was in clearing and repairing my gutters. I had had this work done last year and it still was a problem. Jimmy gave the assurance that he had solved the underlying problem and would come back if the problem recurred in the next few years.

This is the second time I've used AM Plastering and I'm very happy with the service. The team erected scaffolding, removed the roof tiles, replaced or repaired any parts in bad condition like repointing the chimney, and replaced all tiles and guttering. They were swift and efficient and invited me up the scaffolding to review their work which was very reassuring. The job is excellent and I'd have no hesitation in using them again.

Jimmy came round promptly to assess the job and advised on different options. He was easy to contact and all emails were answered promptly. The quote for the work was absolutely accurate. I had several quotes from different tradesmen for a room to be reskimmed, new flooring, door architrave and painted, some electrical work in lounge and to have a through lounge, hallway and passageway painted. They arrived promptly at 8am every morning. They worked very hard to a extremely high standard everyday and finished the job in the 2 week scheduled time. They work very clean and cleared up after themselves. I would recommend Jimmy and his team. I am very happy to have found an all round builder that I can trust to do impressive work and not cut corners. Neighbours have asked to look at their work and have been very impressed. This was a far from straightforward Job given the antiquated and inefficient plumbing in place, but Jimmy and his team replaced and relocated pipe work (including fitting a stopcock, and changing old fashioned S bend toilet) leaving a far more efficient and attractive system, while ensuring easy access - a major consideration for me. The bathroom was completely stripped out, and Jimmy disposed of all rubbish on a daily basis. At my request, he sourced and collected a new hand basin, vanity unit, bath, shower, toilet, cupboard with mirror, floor and wall tiles - the choices he made were perfect and of good quality. All work was carried out to a very high standard and I am delighted with the end result. The team arrived at the same time every day, and worked incredibly hard. It made a huge difference knowing that I could rely on Jimmy and his team to complete the work reliably and efficiently. I have asked him to provide me with a quote for further work in the New Year.

My 3 bedroom house in East London needed a full refurbishment so I called in AM Plastering & General Builders, I had used them last year to carry out some repairs but this was a much bigger project requiring the removal of an interior wall to create a new kitchen, installation of central heating (for the first time)and a full rewire to replace 40+ year old wiring, to complicate matters I would be living in the house while the work was being done. Jimmy and his team worked around me and did their best to make the time as stress free as possible, explaining what they were doing when I asked and leaving me at the end of the working day with as clean a house as possible. We worked together to solve any unforeseen problems (like the replacement of the ceiling in what was to become my new kitchen) and I was informed of any extra costs as we went along. They fixed defects in walls and ceilings, redecorated every room (Jimmy suggested a colour for an upstairs room which I also had my bedroom painted in) and repainted the outside of the house. The job took 6 weeks and I now have a lovely new kitchen and a warm bright house. This is a very professional team who take pride in the job they do and I would not hesitate to use them again for any work I may want in the future. I have recommended them to some friends who are thinking of having some work done to their house.

From beginning to end am plastering provided an excellent service. we were given a quotation and after agreeing a start date for the work, everything went as planned. car garage converted into a room, toilet refurbished, new porch build and roof for the garage repaired as it was in a bad state. The end result was amazing. Thank you to all the staff, the plumber, the electrician, the brick layer, the worker, especially Jimmy who organised everything and done an excellent job. Definitely would recommend.

AM Plastering redecorated my house over 7 days. The overall standard of work exceeded my expectations. Throughout the process, the team was hard working, easily contactable and reliable. The work was also done to a minimum of inconvenience to my family, with the builders working carefully and cleaning up very well at the end of each day. They rightly clearly take pride in the quality of their work and operate with a very positive attitude.

Jimmy and his team were incredibly diligent in their work. Jimmy is a credit to his profession. He was able to complete the work to the agreed schedule and on budget. He always arrived on time, and I was able to leave him to work and do the job to an excellent standard. With the nature of the work, it was expected that there would be a lot of mess. However, Jimmy and his team continuous strove to ensure that any mess was kept to a minimum.
