About

Amhurst electrical is based in Stoke Newington north London and deals with all aspects of electrical installation work.

We are city and guilds qualified, a registered NICEIC approved contractor, part of the government endorsed Trustmark scheme and part P approved domestic installer.
Also CSCS, ECS and JIB grade appoved Electrician gold card holder.
All works are covered by an insurance backed warranty.

All types of electrical work are carried out both domestic and commercial, from a complete or partial rewire, new or replacement consumer unit to additional plug sockets, lighting, circuit and installation design etc.
Also central heating wiring Electric water and space heating, electric showers, security, fire detection, Emergency lighting, access control and data cabling and much more

All works are certificated as prescribed by BS7671.
EICR (Electrical installation condition report), Pat testing, Installation certificates, minor works certificates, fire alarm and emergency lighting certificates

Ray arrived on time and completed the job in half a day leaving the kitchen clean any tidy after he had installed a new cooker point. A hard worker and quickly solved problems relating to the cable run. Full of good advice and I would use him again and recommend to others. It was all very easy with no hassle and at a very reasonable price.

Ray was a dream to work with. Very responsive, and clearly very knowledgeable and practical. He was quick to offer us options on how to address different challenges, including frequently highlighting areas where we could save money while maintaining quality and safety. I had requested a quote for similar work from another Which Trusted Trader and received a quote for four times the price from where Ray wound up, and that was after we added in another few other small jobs (not to mention the wealth of information he provided us as new homeowners). Can't recommend highly enough!

Ray has just carried out a full rewire of our flat and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, worked really hard to get the job done as quickly as possible and tidied up every evening when he had finished. It was a big job, but we felt in safe hands with Ray and we will be using him again for any future electrical works.

Ray first worked for us in 2008 when he completely re- wired a 3000 sq.ft. early Victorian villa. He is concientious and knowledgeable. A problem solver who does clean efficient work. He is willing to tackle any job - large or small. I trust him and highly recommend him.

Ray first came to us in 2009 to sort out old electrical wiring. He was recommended to us by our decorators and has solved every issue we ever presented him with! Including rewiring part of our house. We can definitely recommend him - he is hardworking and enjoys his work.
