*NB This review is very overdue, due to family health issues.* Having been badly let down by a major co after complete failure of my 12 year-old combi boiler, I contacted AMT Heating Ltd, encouraged by excellent reviews on WhichTT & Checkatrade. Alex was swift and responsive with his communicatons. Unsurprisingly, he was busy, but I was confident enough to wait for his first availability, rather than try anyone else (some others I approached weren't so good replying!) and my instinct was absolutely correct. Alex and Josh arrived, on time and with a brilliant, friendly customer-focused attitude; amenable, professional and clearly knowledgeable. Josh spent the day doing the powerflush, explaining everything, happy to answer questions, he's an excellent, good-natured worker, even went the extra mile trying to resolve a related matter, rather than heading straight off. Unfortunately, the boiler heat exchange was beyond repair, so Alex informed me of all my options; the amount of detailed information he offered, including a lengthy phone call, was highly impressive - no 'hard sell', purely objective information, backed up by his extensive experience. Ultimately, I opted for a new boiler, which Alex and Josh returned to fit. Again, absolutely faultless in their approach, couldn't do enough to get the job done to a high standard - including Josh returning to finally rectify an issue with a couple of my radiators. Cannot recommend AMT highly enough! Huge thanks to Alex and Josh.

We’re really happy with communication, professionalism and workmanship of Alex and Josh at AMT and would wholeheartedly recommend. Having contacted AMT, Alex was quick to respond and talked me through the process and work that would be carried out to replace our boiler. He also highlighted common issues in the system as a whole that might require extra work and charges - power flush, pump replacement etc. On the day, Josh arrived promptly as promised. The work was completed to a high standard and we were kept updated throughout the day. The system was tested and house left tidy.

This company are totally reliable, hard working, polite and work to a very high standard. Our bathroom they installed is perfect and I would highly recommend them.

Alex had previously installed a combi boiler in my old property and did such a great job that when we moved house and realised the ancient boiler needed replacing he was the only person I contacted. As before, Alex was fantastic to work with. He replied quickly to any queries I had and explained clearly what our replacement options were (we went for a system boiler). When it came to doing the job, we left Alex to get on with it while we were away for the half term holiday. It was a big job that involved lifting floor boards and moving furniture and carpets so he could lay new pipes, but Alex did it on budget and on schedule (even working through the bank holiday to ensure it was finished on time). We returned to a clean and tidy house (with loads of hot water and - finally - great water pressure). And even though it was a Sunday, Alex gave me a call to explain how the new system and controls worked. I can't rate Alex highly enough and would recommend his services to everyone.

We had an issue with the temperature of the hot water, Alex arrived within the agreed time, quickly identified and resolved the problem.

Professional approach, reliable, competitive, honest, efficient and nice people. Would highly recommend them. In the last year they have installed 3 boilers in my properties. My son used them to and was really pleased with the work and after-sales questions and pre-installation information. I’m going to use them for annual servicing too.

Alex came to carry out the annual service of the boiler and fires. He also helped us choose, supply, and install a new kitchen tap. All work carried out in a timely, efficient, and personable fashion.

I cannot recommend AMT heating more. Josh came round to replace a heated towel rail and service a boiler. He was professional, experienced and so friendly. He did a great job, was knowledgeable and gave me sound advice on my ancient boiler. Alex has also been amazing to communicate with and asked all the right questions to give me a solid quote before the job was carried out. I will definitely be using them again!

Alex has installed a new boiler for me which I was very apprehensive of as we had a old and inefficient old one with water tanks. Alex did an amazing job, was quick, tidy and very informative about choices. The best trades person I have ever met. He has done my downstairs bathroom, leaking radiator valve and garden tap since. I cannot recommend him enough.

AMT Heating did a Gas Safe inspection on my boiler today. Great job as always, nice guys and did a general health check on the boiler. All looks okay at the moment but alerted me to a couple of things to watch out for as the boiler ages. Great service.

I needed a traditional boiler replacing with a combi, the old tanks removing and pipework sorting, plus 2 new radiators and TRVs fitted to them and to other radiators. AMT was one of 3 companies I asked for quotes. As well as listening to what I wanted, Alex patiently answered my questions, and provided really helpful advice and explanations, including internet links with more information. His quote was very reasonable, and the only one that arrived in the time promised. The work was carried out professionally, and to a high standard, and they made every effort to clear up the inevitable mess. I am vey pleased with the new system. I would highly recommend this company.

Had a radiator removed and new one installed in new position In living room. Alex and Dan were extremely professional and tidy and did a great job. Will definitely be using them again for a bigger project later in the year

Arrived on time and started the job promptly. Worked neatly, cleanly and quickly. The job was completed within the estimated hour quoted.

I had a boiler and tank removed and replaced with a combi boiler. All the way through Alex explained everything to me clearly and kept me fully informed all the way through the job. The work carried out is of an excellent standard and Alex and Dan were on time each day and I cannot recommend AMT Heating highly enough.

Alex came out and gave us a quote, and spent time explaining and recommending, what we should have with the new boiler installation, Alex recommended the air separator, type of filter and the smart Valiant thermostat and explained the reasons. On the day of installation Alex explained was was being done, Alex and his apprentice are very courteous, polite and tidy. Alex works to very high standards, I would highly recommend him, and I will continue to use Alex for the future yearly service, and would not hesitate to use Alex again for future work.

Alex did a fantastic job on my flat which needed a complete upgrade. He took the time to explain the different options to me and was understanding when I had to delay the work while waiting for permission from the property management company. The boiler and radiators were installed very quickly, the old water tank was removed quickly and all work was completed with minimal mess. Would 100% recommend.

I am always a little sceptical about reviews especially when they are full of glowing feedback. However, I decided to put some faith in the reviews I had read and chose AMT. to install a new combi boiler and replace one radiator. I met Alex at my home who carried out a survey and gave a comprehensive explanation about works required, options and timescales etc. I was thoroughly impressed from the outset. Alex and Josh then attended my property 4 weeks later. From start to finish they were meticulous, punctual, polite and worked efficiently to finish the job, even without ever taking breaks! The job was completed within 2 days and the only way I would have been more satisfied is if I didn’t have to pay! A great job done by a most pleasant team. You may get a cheaper job but I doubt you will get a better job!

I had no hot water or heating. I contacted AMT who I had used previously and Alex attended promptly. The problem was diagnosed and a new part fitted all in the same day. Alex was efficient, courteous, polite and did a clean job. The price was reasonable. The service provided by this company was excellent and I highly recommend them.

AMT installed my Combi Boiler in November 2020 and the heating system has been working trouble-free. Alex and his team were friendly and the work was clean and tidy. AMT services the boiler annually and are very reliable at a reasonable cost.

AMT installed our boiler 12 yrs ago and to date we always call as and when we require their services. Had an issue less than a week ago and contacted Alex, he was prompt to get back to us and schedule a visit, I explained the issue at a high level so with that they could prep for the worse case of having to replace the thermostat. On the day our thermostat was broken, so a new one was installed, and a service carried out. Very professional service and very friendly in his visit to carry out the work.
