My mum’s stairlift broke down, so we called AMW. They came out promptly the same day. The service engineer made a temporary repair to the existing stairlift, free of charge, but advised Mum that a new one would be needed in the near future. A reconditioned model was ordered the same day and fitted two days later. We were really impressed by the speed and professionalism of the service engineer and would highly recommend this Company.

We obtained a quote for my elderly parents on Monday 14th October and Mark came to fit the stairlift on Thursday 17th. The price was excellent, much less than we were expecting. The day they came to fit the stairlift, my dad was in hospital and Mark got extra people to come and help get the job done quicker so that my mum didn’t miss visiting times. The stairlift was fitted quickly with no mess or fuss. Mark was extremely polite and gave clear instructions on how to use the stairlift. He took time to explain what he would be doing at every step of the fitting. It was all done and dusted within 3 hours. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company. From ringing the office to make an appointment and getting the lift installed for my parents, took just 2 days! Ant came to advise my parents on the right stairlift for them and promised to have it installed the next day. Mark came to install it and he was very professional and amiable, putting my parents at ease. He had one or two issues with the installation but didn’t leave until the lift was properly installed and working smoothly. I highly recommend AMW on every aspect of their service.

Customer service has been brilliant from getting a quote and with getting the stair lift put in. Chair lift is suitable for the house and my needs and we are very happy with the quality and the work men explained how to use it very well. Couldn’t be happier with the service I received and how quickly it was put in, would recommend this company to family and friends.

Mark the installer from AMW Lift and Mobility recently fitted a stairlift form my 87 year old mother, who was, safe to say reluctant to have one fitted and have a stranger in the house. However he made her feel very comfortable and re-assured and went out of his way to provide great service. Making sure she was happy with the product, the safety considerations and how to use it. My mother Mary, doesn't have internet, hence why she has asked me to make sure that Mark and AMW gets the credit due to them Great work

Stairlift couldn’t be fitted by three other firms, as stairs were too narrow and too steep. Anthony from AMW came out and measured up and promised he could do it. And that is exactly what he did. Dale fitted my stairlift on the 1st of June. Anthony was there all the time and explained everything I suffer from MS and I am really pleased with all the effort they put in and how good clean and quick the job was. Thank you again to all of you.

I heard about Anthony and AMW by word of mouth. He came highly recommended. Anthony called and said he could sort me out whereas others have said they cannot due to the narrow stairs. It was fitted today by Mark (grand lad) and he did a superb job. He was friendly, informative and very helpful. The lift itself is smooth, quiet, comfortable and easy to operate. AMW also arranged to modify the tapered bottom step to accommodate the lift. All done at a very good price; less than expected. The whole job was done by both contractors with absolutely no fuss in the one day. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We needed a stairlift fitted urgently for mum who has developed severe spinal and breathing conditions and can no longer cope with stairs. We contacted the Council along with several other companies, they came back with huge waiting times, huge quotations, or both. AMW responded straight away, Victoria was bright, cheerful and genuinely helpful on the phone. Anthony called round within days of the initial call, after surveying the job, he gave us clear, no pressure advice as to the best options for our staircase, along with a no obligation quote. I called to give the go ahead on a reconditioned stairlift on Monday and by Wednesday the team were round. They worked away with no fuss or mess and within a few hours the stairlift was in. Steve provided a full demo and left us up and running with plenty of backup information. I have to say, I am thrilled with how easy and professional AMW made the whole process. The lift is perfect for our mum who was able to understand and use the controls almost instantly. Great People, Great Pricing, Great Product and Great Customer Service! What an excellent service is provided by Anthony and his team. From the first phone call to the final visit after the stairlift was installed, everything was completed to a first-class standard. Anthony explained everything clearly and efficiently and gave us all the info we might possibly need in the future Excellent. We went for a reconditioned model which was extremely reasonable and had a 2-year guarantee. Thank you very much to AMW.

My stair lift was fitted at the time scheduled. The process of book an appointment and it being fitted could not have gone any smoother. The two gentlemen who fitted it done an excellent job. They were very nice and easy to speak to. They cleaned up after the work was done and left the house clean and tidy. They explained how to use the stair lift clearly. Job well done. The lady who arranged the appointment was really helpful. They kept us up to date from survey to fitting. The lads who came to fit the lift were polite and informative. They tidied up and then explained the operation of the lift, including getting me to try it a couple of times to make sure I understood. They then explained the guarantee etc before leaving.
