What started out as one woman’s vision as an apprentice, working one-on-one alongside an established female electrician for 5 years, turned into Amy’s Electrics.
Our work meets the highest standard, no matter how big or small, always respecting the environment we are working in, especially when that environment is your home.

Amy and her colleague Katy repaired a broken doorbell for us. The job was complex as the doorbell was old and historic. They were cheery, efficient and keen to solve the problem. Nothing seemed too difficult. I’d happily use the firm again.

From the very start, Amy and her team were great, communication and discussion of the work made it so that when they arrived they knew exactly what needed doing. The price was very competitive and more importantly the standard of work was excellent. My boyfriend was in at the time as I was at work, and he couldn't compliment them enough, they were also fabulous with our dog. Which cannot be underestimated when someone is coming into your home. The work was completed quickly, they tidied up after themselves and were just a delight from the very start. So would highly recommend it. Much better than any agency business. Thank you so much

I arranged for Amy's team to install ceiling spotlights in our lower ground floor hallway. Their quote was about the lowest in price but more importantly they discussed and agreed a work plan that seemed best suited for the job. On site, they discussed & agreed final plans with me. They were friendly and professional. They helped move some furniture etc, and completed the job within the agreed time frame. They replaced things, relaid carpet raised to gain access, and left everything neat and tidy. I would strongly recommend them.

Amy and her team came for a job fitting a new light fixture above our kitchen island, replacing standard switches with dimmer switches (and replacing the lightbulbs), and adding an extra double plug socket with USB connections to our wall. They arrived on time, made sure to cover everything so the room wouldn’t get dusty, and left the property in fantastic condition afterwards. The job itself was carried out to a very high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending Amy’s Electrics to anyone needing a reliable electrician. Not to mention the great value in comparison to other quotes I received.

I'd previously contacted several electricians for my job, but Amy was the only one who consistently replied to my enquiries, took the time to understand the job, and gave me confidence that the work would be completed to my satisfaction. On-site she drove the whole thing forward with professionalism and urgency, and she and her colleague did all the jobs I needed to my specification. I'd happily use Amy's Electrics again, and I'd recommend them to anyone. Work done was new fusebox unit, replacement of plugs/switches/lights, installation of kitchen extractor, and safety certificate.

Amy's Electrics have done three jobs for me, the last two quite large ones. Communication was excellent and the three electricians who visited over two days all seemed highly competent. I have used Amy's Electrics a few times for a variety of electrical repairs and improvements and am very impressed by the work. Each time two of them have come and not only is the work of a very high standard but they have great communication skills. They make sure I understand what they are doing and why. This is the second time I've used Amy's Electrics and they were fabulous. Punctual, friendly, expert, tidy. They chased an ugly cable into the wall for me and prepped it ready for the decorator. They reused some wood batons I had lying around, so it was great to make use of it instead of going to landfill. They also changed a ceiling rose and socket for me. I wouldn't call anyone else.

I called Amy's as my fuse box was really old and the whole property needed an electric check up. They came on time, they updated me 3 times during their all day stay and they gave me really precise feedback. On top of that they were really kind and they liaised with my tenants for all that needed to be done. really impressive work and I'm gonna use them again!
