We used Andrew and his company having found them through Trusted Traders. We were not disappointed. Andrew was quick to communicate and gave helpful advice. The work was to a very high standard and when a couple of minor unexpected problems cropped up (nobody's fault) he was quick to address them. Will certainly use again!

Andrew Farcas Ltd have undertaken a number of large and small jobs for us in recent years,. They estimates are always reasonably priced compared to other firms, their timings reliable and the work is always of the highest standard.

We have used Andrew and his team on 3 separate occasions over the last 3 years for painting and decorating. They have been excellent on each occasion and completed work on time and to an excellent standard. Furthermore they are very tidy and extremely considerate. Fully recommend!

We have used Andrew Farkas Ltd several times now, and with complete satisfaction. Each time, Andrew has taken time discussing our ideas beforehand, sometimes suggesting better alternatives and/or less expensive options. The latest work was to have our bedroom decorated while we were away. We asked for all walls, ceiling and woodwork painted, and an area of damaged lining paper replaced. On our return we were greeted with a fantastic looking room. All decoration being carried out to a high standard and we couldn’t even see where the area of damaged lining paper was! The room was left clean & tidy with no signs of anybody having entered the property, well except for the newly decorated room. Thanks once again

Despite changing my mind several times, Andrew was nothing but patient and courteous. We had painting, plastering, some carpentry and replacement radiators. All of the team were very polite, friendly and did their best to minimise the inevitable mess. Everyone attended when they were expected and kept us fully informed as to how long they expected their part of the work to last. Andrew ensured there was no delay between one piece of work finishing and the next starting. The majority of the work was in the living room/dining room and kitchen so we were able to get things back to normal in the shortest possible time. All work was undertaken to a very high standard. The finish of the painting work in dining room and bathroom was of a high standard. Some carpentry performed and completed at a high standard. Workers were reliable and kept to time. Very professional team. No concerns during the works.

Andrew was very in touch and on time, accommodating in adjusting the job as needed, which was to paint old wooden window frames, replace window cill and repair door, all done to quote. The team member who did the work was very respectful and put a lot of effort into bringing back the unpromising old frames, everything was left clean and tidy. Andrew is very much on the case, checking I was happy with the job. Can recommend.

I am absolutely delighted with the work carried out by Sani and Patrick. Both the painting and wallpapering were done to a very high standard. The communications were great - I was kept informed of what was happening throughout the work, and Andrew checked in at times. The guys arrived on time every day, were very easy to have around and were respectful of my home, always clearing up before leaving. I will be calling on them again for future work.

Andrew visited on 04/03/25 to give a quote for the work. I obtained other quotes but I was the most impressed by Andrew, so I chose his company. The work was done in one day on 25/03/25 by Patrick. He was very efficient, friendly and polite. The work was done to a very high standard. I am extremely pleased and impressed by the exterior cill work. Patrick had to remove the original brown plastic coating which was split, cracking and coming away. That must have been extremely tedious work. He than prepared the cills and painted them white to match the windows. I am so, so pleased with the result. I am also extremely pleased with the bedroom work. He had to prepare the walls and then paint them with two coats of the colour I chose. I am amazed that all the work was completed in one day! I shall definitely use Andrew again.

Andrew and his team offered me a brilliant service. Communication was very good throughout and everything was carried out to a high standard and in line with defined scope. Results came out better than I could have imagined! I only now wonder why I didn't reach out to Andrew sooner, but I now know for next time.

I researched several companies for my exterior painting requirement. I wanted to use a local company too. Our house is old and required careful preparation and finishing. The exterior had not been painted for several years and was flaking and had a variable rendered surface. Of the companies approached Andrew Farkas gave me confidence that they knew what to do to meet my high expectations. After speaking with Andrew he assigned two decorators. On the day they arrived on time and both were very courteous and efficient. The job was completed on time as promised and done to a very high standard of finish on both high gable end walls. I was also happy that they asked me each day to review the quality of their work to ensure I was happy with the standard. There were no issues or concerns. Overall I was very pleased and the job was also done to agreed budget, with no surprises or shocks. I would certainly use Andrew Farkas again and can recommend them for similar work.

Lovely professional job done at my tenant’s house following bathroom flood. The damage was made good and then painted. Work done quickly and efficiently to a very high standard. Would have no hesitation using Andrew and his team again.

We had previously used Andrew Farkas Limited for interior decorating and had been very pleased with the work completed. This time Andrew’s team of 2 hard working and professional decorators came to complete work we needed doing on the exterior of our home. Andrew’s team was able to start the work within a few days of us accepting his estimate. They arrived early each day and on time. Worked hard and completed everything on our specification thoroughly, professionally and to a very high standard.

The work involved exterior and interior decoration, Andrew was punctual, helpful and precise when he came to estimate. Work commenced at the agreed time and was juggled flexibly depending on the weather. The work was completed in in good time precisely to agreed estimated cost. The two decorators were punctual respectful helpful and skilled, and additionally moved heavy items of furniture before and after preparing rooms for decoration. They were tidy and cleaned everything up meticulously. Care was taken over preparation, and reflected in the quality of the finish; this included work on several ceilings. Communication was easy and Andrew came regularly also.

Andrew Farkas viewed the number of small jobs we had been collecting, made notes, gave us a very reasonable quote within 24 hours and once agreed, the work was carried out in 2 weeks. Painting a shed, fixing collapsed fences on our property and replacing paving stones. Careful work done, no mess no fuss. We highly recommend this company.

We had a list of tasks including painting an outbuilding, replacing fence posts, replacing a paving slab, filling a hole under some paving. The work was done well and steadily. Workmen were polite and considerate.

Andrew’s team repainted our large house which was in a fairly poor state. Preparation was very thorough and the painting very professional with great attention to detail. It was completed within the estimated time and for the price agreed. The decorators worked hard, tidied up every day and consulted and advised us when necessary. Andrew visited the site several times to check on progress. The overall finish was excellent. I’ve used this firm before and would definitely use them again.

We recently engaged Andrew Farkas Ltd to decorate the whole exterior of our house. I was very impressed with the whole process, from start of our project to the completion. His team were very professional, very hard working, friendly and always ready to start promptly. We used AFL for the first time, to redecorate several rooms, this included papering, painting and gloss work. The decorators worked really hard all day, while keeping the areas clear of clutter, and cleaning up at the end of each day. They were polite, friendly and very professional in their work. During these works, Andrew Farkas phoned us and made site visits to check on progress, and to see if we were happy with the standard of work or had any concerns. We were very happy with the painting of our hallway and door frames. Andrew was excellent at keeping us informed when and what was happening. Sunny the decorator was such a hard worker, polite and very tidy. Right before the job started I decided to add quite a lot to the job and they were super accommodating. I would have them back and recommend highly.

I had used Andrew's company last year and had been very impressed so when I made a decision to go ahead with the above work I had no hesitation is asking Andrew to quote once again. As before, communication throughout was excellent and everything done to budget and schedule. Finish is superb and nothing is ever too much trouble. It is so reassuring to find a contractor you know you can trust and that everything will be completed with so much care and professionalism. The ceiling of our television room collapsed following a leak in the roof. Andrew came promptly and completed the work to the highest standard and at a reasonable cost. The ceiling is now as good as new, if not better! We have used Andrew and his team a number of times over recent years – his work has always been excellent and his pricing fair.

Andrew promptly attended , offering helpful advice . We accepted his quote and were later given a starting date . Sunny did a fine job , arriving when he said and leaving the room tidy. Work involved was stripping the walls, putting up lining paper and painting the ceiling, walls and woodwork - all done to schedule. We would readily recommend Andrew and Sunny and hope to use them again.
