Lovely professional job done at my tenant’s house following bathroom flood. The damage was made good and then painted. Work done quickly and efficiently to a very high standard. Would have no hesitation using Andrew and his team again.

We had previously used Andrew Farkas Limited for interior decorating and had been very pleased with the work completed. This time Andrew’s team of 2 hard working and professional decorators came to complete work we needed doing on the exterior of our home. Andrew’s team was able to start the work within a few days of us accepting his estimate. They arrived early each day and on time. Worked hard and completed everything on our specification thoroughly, professionally and to a very high standard.

The work involved exterior and interior decoration, Andrew was punctual, helpful and precise when he came to estimate. Work commenced at the agreed time and was juggled flexibly depending on the weather. The work was completed in in good time precisely to agreed estimated cost. The two decorators were punctual respectful helpful and skilled, and additionally moved heavy items of furniture before and after preparing rooms for decoration. They were tidy and cleaned everything up meticulously. Care was taken over preparation, and reflected in the quality of the finish; this included work on several ceilings. Communication was easy and Andrew came regularly also.

Andrew Farkas viewed the number of small jobs we had been collecting, made notes, gave us a very reasonable quote within 24 hours and once agreed, the work was carried out in 2 weeks. Painting a shed, fixing collapsed fences on our property and replacing paving stones. Careful work done, no mess no fuss. We highly recommend this company.

Andrew’s team repainted our large house which was in a fairly poor state. Preparation was very thorough and the painting very professional with great attention to detail. We recently engaged Andrew Farkas Ltd to decorate the whole exterior of our house. I was very impressed with the whole process, from start of our project to the completion. We used AFL for the first time, to redecorate several rooms, this included papering, painting and gloss work. The decorators worked really hard all day, while keeping the areas clear of clutter, and cleaning up at the end of each day. They were polite, friendly and very professional in their work. We were very happy with the painting of our hallway and door frames. Andrew was excellent at keeping us informed when and what was happening. Sunny the decorator was such a hard worker, polite and very tidy. Right before the job started I decided to add quite a lot to the job and they were super accommodating. I would have them back and recommend highly.

I had used Andrew's company last year and had been very impressed so when I made a decision to go ahead with the above work I had no hesitation is asking Andrew to quote once again. The ceiling of our television room collapsed following a leak in the roof. Andrew came promptly and completed the work to the highest standard and at a reasonable cost. The ceiling is now as good as new, if not better! We have used Andrew and his team a number of times over recent years – his work has always been excellent and his pricing fair.

Andrew promptly attended , offering helpful advice . We accepted his quote and were later given a starting date . Sunny did a fine job , arriving when he said and leaving the room tidy. Work involved was stripping the walls, putting up lining paper and painting the ceiling, walls and woodwork - all done to schedule. Andrew responded to my initial enquiry quickly and professionally, with visit and quote completed within a couple of days. Sunni and Patrick did the work and they were, friendly, tidy and expert decorators. No issue was too small for them to deal with and they kept us fully informed of their decorating schedule so we could organise ourselves and the house efficiently. They were really focussed and worked very quickly, but not to the detriment of quality. They put all furniture back in its original place without any request and gave friendly advice and opinions on colours when asked. The work was completed to the agreed cost and schedule. Had exterior of our semi detached house decorated. Front, side and rear. Sonny our decorator came on the time and date agreed and was very professional and helpful throughout. I was very pleased with the completed work which came in on budget. Andrew Farkas made the initial visit and listened carefully to our requirements, making notes and taking photographs. Andrew had done a previous decorating job and we asked him to renovate a bedroom: Stripping wallpaper, fixing holes and cracks in walls and ceiling, wallpapering, painting walls, ceiling and woodwork. His decorator worked through the weekend to complete the job in 4 days. The finish was very high quality and we are delighted. He quoted for one or two alternative scenarios and the final price was as quoted. From initial call to completion, everything was quick, efficient and transparent. Andrew Farkas Ltd carried out repairs to garage doors and a side gate. The firm also painted the outside of the house. The work was carried out very efficiently and to a high standard. The workmen tidied up neatly afterwards. The work was completed on schedule and to the agreed budget. The team were helpful throughout and Andrew gave me good advice as to what work needed doing. Andrew came and gave us an estimate for a variety of jobs. We chose 2 that were urgent and booked a date. Due to ill health, we had to change the date--no problem. After a change of heart, we called Andrew and said we only need one job done, a peeling, unsightly bathroom ceiling. We asked Andrew and his team to completely prepare, line and paint the walls, ceilings and woodwork for four rooms in our house. This included filling of bonded channels after a full rewire, plus final plastering of some cracks and holes throughout. The job was finished in six days - a day ahead of schedule. Andrew and his two painters were really easy to work with - nothing was an issue, communication was great, and they were always friendly. They worked unsupervised in our house - putting down dustsheets and keeping everything tidy. The quality of the work was very high - the rooms are completely revitalised and we'll definitely consider them when we decorate the next part of the house. Would strongly recommend.

He was very polite and helpful and, because the coronavirus was restricting visits at the time, I sent him photos of the three rooms for his consideration. I received an estimate shortly afterwards, and I was pleased to accept it. The work was carried out to the highest standard and I was delighted by it. His team were quick and highly efficient and, painting unattended in my Flat, they were scrupulously honest and trustworthy. We had our dining room decorated by Andrew's team and are very happy with the work done. Everything went smoothly and to schedule. Communication with Andrew was very easy. We had three rooms painted and some carpentry to box in a new boiler, and everything was completed to our satisfaction in three and a half days. Our experience was very good, from initial approach to completion of work. The estimated cost and time it would take was accurate and good value - in fact the work was finished half a day earlier than expected. The two painters were considerate, efficient and hard-working. The work was to decorate the exterior of our house. This was carried out to a very high standard. The team, Sunny and Patrick, arrived early each day and worked steadily to complete the work, no hassle. Excellent communication - Andrew Farkas would let me know evenings what would happen the next day. The job was carried out to budget, 1/2 paid when the job was 1/2 done, the balance on completion. The only thing that went "wrong" was that the replacement downpipe was installed so that I couldn't remove the drain grid for cleaning or rodding the drain, should that be necessary. Andrew had that sorted out within a couple of days, so the problem was quickly resolved. I am happy to give Andrew Farkas top marks.

This is the second time in two years that we've used Andrew's company and both times, have been very happy with the excellent result. Andrew visited and quoted promptly and adjusted the quote promptly when we requested an additional bit of work. The work started and finished on schedule to paint the exterior of the front of the house, repair and paint the pebble-dash and repair/paint the wooden window surrounds. We were extremely pleased with the quality of work carried out by Andrew's team. They did an exceptional job on the outside walls of our house, filling in some hairline cracks and concreting near the ground where parts had chipped away before leaving a great finish to the walls. They arrived early and worked through until late afternoon, were friendly and very helpful. Andrew was kind enough to give me a very speedy and reasonable quote following fire damage to my elderly parents flat. In the end the insurance company chose to use their own contractors but I was impressed with Andrew's willingness to help and quick response.

Andrew has done work for us before, so I had no hesitation in asking him to advise and quote for a problem with external walls, where the rendering had cracked and we had penetrating damp. The walls were cleaned of loose and flaking paint, cracks filled, water sealant applied and then repainted.
