Andy Gas Southern (also known as AGS or Andy Gas) is an experienced and reputable company within the gas industry. Established in 2004 excellent customer service continues to be our top priority. All our Engineers are Gas Safe registered, we specialise in the installation, repair & maintenance of natural gas, power flushing plumbing and bathroom installations. We are also qualified in residential air conditioning installation. We offer free, no obligation quotations, with no job being too small for us to undertake.

I have used Andy Gas for a number of years to service my central heating boiler and have always been very satisfied with the service provided. Additionally , I have used them for other plumbing work from time to time. I have no reservations in recommending them, acknowledging that Andy Gas has met my expectations by providing services to me despite some logistical challenges presented in the last 2 years including rearranging appointments when necessary.

Plumber Sam arrived in the time given. Got straight onto the problem. Polite and curtious. Managed to get the heating and hot water back working until a part can be accessed and within the call out charge time. Very happy with service. A friend recommended them and I would happily do the same.

Our boiler broke down on Sunday 24th. Andy Gas would have come out the same day but we took the cheaper call out for Monday 25th. Fitter arrived before 9 am having phoned first and the job was completed before 10am. A really helpful polite and informed fitter who did a superb job. We have used Andy Gas for many years and will continue to do so. Strongly recommend for effiency and customer care. Brilliant

We have been using AGS Ltd. for many years. They have fixed leaking taps, fitted a new shower supplied from the gas boiler via the bath taps, fitted a new gas boiler and carried out regular servicing of our boilers, Their engineers and reception staff have always been helpful and polite carrying out any work efficiently and leaving the work area clean. Since starting with AGS we have never used anyone else. We have never needed to complain. I believe the rates charged are fair for me, as a customer. Having found a good company I have not found a need to change, why would we?

In the process of selling my property and realised that I needed a gas safety inspection completed at quite short notice! Really helpful on the phone when I first made contact and was able to visit my property within the specified timescale. Undertook the thorough safety inspection and produced a professional report. We had a new boiler fitted by Andy Gas last year and this was an annual service The engineer was on time, very neat & tidy with a pleasant attitude. He was very thorough and made no mess for me to clean up. This is a Company we always use & I would never even think of going elsewhere. We have recently moved house and our boiler and fire needed a service as they have never been done. Called Andy Gas and they sent a shape out. He arrived on time and was very thorough. The boiler passed and he also checked the radiators. The fire was condemned as its cracked. The engineer explained everything ti me, showed me the issue and made it safe. He was excellent. Will be using Andy Gas again for our yearly servicing.

With price of gas these days and although my gas boiler has not missed a beat I felt it was necessary to have the old girl serviced just to give me peace of mind. The AGS technician Ryan turned up on time was very pleasant and helpful in an unpatronising way and carried out a comprehensive service and the price seemed reasonable. Everything was all ok so I can relax for another year. I have used AGS for many years and have never had any complaints but it's always nice to know there's a man called Andy, it's his business and anyone can talk to him. I can't recommend them higher than that.

AGS replaced my internal gas supply pipe which had developed a small leak. The pipe runs under the floor for the whole length of the house so replacing it in situ would have involved ripping up flooring throughout the ground floor, including some expensive wood laminate flooring. AGS devised a solution which involved running the pipe round the skirting board and out of the rear of the property so no damage to the floors. The quote was received within an hour of the engineer leaving and was reasonable. The job itself was done quicker than expected, cleanly and professionally by a cheerful and very polite engineer. Will definitely be using AGS again.

The fitter from Andy Gas listened to the issues with the fitting of the original toilet which resulted in the cistern cracking. He checked over the new toilet carefully at my request before dismantling anything. He was careful to cover the carpet to keep everything clean and tidy. He checked I was happy with the placing of the toilet with consideration of the impact it would have on the flooring. He discussed how to make good the wall behind the cistern that was now revealed. This was more than I expected as his role was the fitting of the toilet. He was concerned about leaving everything looking good as well as working well.
