My old satellite dish on my chimney needed replacement. I found John from Antennalink Communications thorough, professional, and quick, and carried out at the time and on the day agreed. He is also easily contactable, and he responded to an email I sent to him on a Sunday. It was the second time I had used Antennalink Communications, the first being to replace the LNB on my old dish. The cost of the work (which involved using a ladder and a roof ladder) seemed reasonable, especially as it also included the cost of the new dish and fittings.

I've just had my chimney rebuilt because it was leaning. Prior to that the TV aerial was mounted on the chimney stack, so after the building work was finished I needed someone to re-attach and re-align the aerial. John came over and did it a couple of days after we spoke on the phone. He was straight forward and advised me about what was needed, making it very clear that he'd only replace the necessary parts and otherwise work with what was already there. After he finished I went up to the roof to have a look, and he'd done a great job, fixing the aerial very securely and neatly. He also came in and re-tuned the TV, so all the channels worked properly again. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient... Also charged a bit less than the other companies I phoned.

we were experiencing severe tv picture breakup. john came on time and with his magic box soon pinpointed the likely problem area. he renewed the aerial masthead amplifier, and explained that they have a usual life of ten to 20 years. He then read the signal strength again and it was far stronger. John was very courteous and answered all my questions well. cost was very reasonable for the time taken.

Antennalink Communications methodically worked through various steps to identify that the problem was at the point where the aerial cable arrived in the living room and into an amplifier box which had been installed about 20 years ago to receive analogue signals. Bypassing the amplifier box the picture quality immediately improved. By trial and error he then patiently identified which aerial cables linked to TV points in other room and supplied and labelled a 4 -way splitter. We were then able to retune those other TVs to restore all the programmes with good reception. (Much to our relief it was not necessary to go up on the roof and repair the aerial!) He was knowledgeable, explaining what he was testing and why we were experiencing the problem. The work was carried out in a reasonable time and the cost was fine, including a fixed call out fee, parts and his time.

I selected this trader after seeing the reviews on Trusted Trader one in particular had a similar problem to mine. That is the say the picture on my TV was breaking up but also part of my aerial had come loose and I wasn't sure if the two things were linked. I sent Tony and photo of my aerial and he was able to say that the reflector plate had become detached and couldn't be replaced. I agreed to the replacement of my 20 year aerial for a new digital aerial for a very reasonable price. When Tony arrived as soon as I turned on the TV he was able to confirm that the problem with my TV was caused by my aerial. Tony completed the work as specified and I am very happy with the result as the new aerial has improved the picture quality on my TV.

I called Antennalink a month ago, having checked out the reviews. I was getting picture break-up, particularly on one tv and thought the aerial connection might be at fault. John from Antennalink arranged to call and when I opened the front door he said "I know your problem, please follow me" at which he walked to the front of the drive and pointed to a number of cranes in the distance. He explained they were moving about between my house and the Crystal Palace transmitter and signals were bouncing off. In any event, he came in and put a tester on the tv and confirmed that the actual signal was stronger than average. I offered to pay for a call-out but he wouldn't hear of it. Although no remedial work was necessary, I've no doubt that if there had been an issue he would have fixed it, and probably at a reasonable cost, and I will certainly call him when I need help and will recommend him to friends.

Came back from holiday to find we had lost our TV signal on all three TVs. Looked up Trusted Traders and found Antennalink not too far away which had good reviews. They came that same day as stated, and solved our problem with the booster on our aerial with no fuss. So helpful, he quickly identified the problem, fitted a new component then made sure that all three TVs were correctly set up. We were very pleased with the prompt and efficient service as well as the realistic and reasonable cost for the job. We can reassure others we concur with Attennalink Communications' excellent rating on the Trusted Traders website.

Started having aerial issue a month ago, and John was able to find the issue, revise our systems and fix the repair. Very nice chap, arrived on time, courteous and good value for money. John had to go onto the roof to connect a cable to the aerial. He also had to trace internal cables to TV points in the flat as the electrician had not wired them properly when the flat was rewired. The we discovered the amplifier was not working. He was very helpful and made sure the TVs were working properly and correctly tuned.

John arrived on time & quickly assessed the situation. He got on with the job and showed me the problem (a worn-out 20-year-old LNB). He got on with the second job and fixed the FreeSat reception. He returned at the agreed time and replaced the roof LNB fixing an old broken roof tile (a bonus!). He spent time with me to get the sat PVR working. An exemplary character. John arrived within the time frame stated in his email, he quoted the job and offered to carry the work out there and then. He suggested it would take 2 hours and that is exactly the time it took. John visited on Saturday. He was very professional. Clear about the work he was doing and setting expectations. He removed our old Sky dish and replaced our 1980s aerial. He fitted new cable to the living and, more importantly, gave us an aerial point in our loft bedroom connected to the new roof aerial. Excellent service, great bloke. I had lost the signal from my satellite dish to my Freesat TV, and to my Sky+HD box. The LNB on the dish, and the dish’s cable to the Sky box both needed replacing. Both were about 13 years old, and their condition had deteriorated over time. I contacted Antennalink by email on a Saturday lunchtime and they came to give an estimate the following Monday, but were able to replace the LNB there and then, even though the dish is mounted on a chimney. On testing the new LNB, it was discovered that the cable from the dish to the Sky box was also faulty, and this was also replaced there and then. Very pleased with their service and thoroughness and friendliness, and the price was fair.

John did an excellent job tracking down a tricky fault that turned out to be sun and water-damaged cable that had left us with no reception at all. He spent time diagnosing the problem and working through solutions. When it turned out to be a bigger job he agreed a time to return and a clear price. He was able to restore rock-solid satellite reception. John was polite and friendly and arrived on time for both visits.

My TV aerial was blown off the roof during the storm of Friday the eighteenth of February. The first TV aerial company I called quoted an extremely high price to replace the antenna, the second company was cheaper but I still thought the cost was too high. Luckily, at my third attempt I contacted John's company, Antennalink Communications. John explained clearly what needed to be changed and quoted a very reasonable price.
