During my central heating system upgrade, Tony was recommended to me. He was initially helpful and gave advice on site and by email. He expected to start with 2–3 weeks’ notice but kept delaying and was reluctant to set a start date. I am registered blind/deaf, so he said he could get me a braille timer/programmer but did not manage to provide one. I ordered an alternative. I made specific suggestions for where the timer/programmer and its cable should be positioned, but it was run behind my washing machine, which has resulted in the new kitchen cupboard fittings being disrupted. In fixing the programmer, the plaster wall was damaged. Tony explained that I need a bypass radiator but did not put this in the upstairs bathroom as I had requested. As a result, I cannot control the heat in my downstairs shower room. Tony requested immediate payment on completion of the job but has still not provided an invoice. I initially overpaid, and he did repay the extra promptly, but only after I did the calculations and asked for it. After his team had left, I found one pipe has a minor leak. I asked him to come back to fix this and the other issues, but he was not able to commit to a time to suit me, despite me offering alternatives. While the initial advice was helpful, the service did not fully accommodate my accessibility requirements.

I was contacted quickly by Tony to check my needs and arranged site visit to suit me. Tony discussed my boiler choice, to check it met my needs. Tony carried out survey and gave a verbal quote, which was followed up in written confirmation next day. On the agreed install day, Tony explained clearly what they would be doing on the day. The removal and then installation went smoothly, the existing pipework replaced to suit and the new pipework was better laid out and visually looked neater than previous install. They finished work on time, fully cleaned up afterwards, then gave me instructions on the boiler, it's displays and remote thermostat, including its settings and how to program it. The attention attention to detail and cleanliness was impressive, even their vehicle was immaculate. We were so impressed, that we are now in discussions for a complete renovation of our ensuite. As a note, I had got 4 quotes, APD was not the most expensive nor the cheapest, but I do consider them the best value given the quality of their work. Would definitely recommend them.

Tony and his team are fantastic. A high quality finish to a complete bathroom renovation was achieved through good advice given on products to meet Mums needs to make her bathroom safe for her mobility needs. Price given was fair for the work carried out to exacting standard. Communication was excellent on arrival times and what was happening on a daily basis. Any unforseen requirements were explained and resolved to our satisfaction. All trades involved did an excellent job. Tony gives 110% to ensure we are happy. We wholeheartedly recommend APD.

I would like to thank Tony for his quick response to my enquiry over a Gas fire service. He came out the following day and completed the service. The gas fire is fine. I would definately reccommend him.

Tony and Sean supplied a new shower tray, cubicle and fitments, including shower hose and rail, along with wallboards. The work was carried out quickly, with care and using quality materials. In addition, they serviced the boiler at no extra cost and cleaned up thoroughly when they had finished. I have no hesitation in recommending this company in the highest regard.

Doing business with Tony and his Son was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. Tony came and gave me a written price for the job, itemising everything that he would be doing and the cost of each item, which I found really helpful. Tony communicated well with me and was prompt with his timekeeping. They protected my house with dust sheets, ensuring that there was no mess, and were respectful of me and my home. They are clearly knowledgeable, experienced, and efficient. The job was finished with the least disruption to me and my home. I am so impressed that I intend to get them back to install a wet room. I can really recommend the company.

We booked APD Heating & Energy Ltd to have the old bathroom ripped out and a new one fitted, best decision we have ever made. Tony and the guys have done an amazing job, they work so hard, are friendly and professional, taking pride in what they do. They always cleaned up after each day and treat your home with the same care they would their own. Tony explains everything fully and keeps you informed each step of the way so you know you are in safe hands! When the original bathroom was ripped out, they discovered a hole in the floor with rotten wooden beam (we have suspended floors) likely due to a slow leak from the old bath/pipe work. Tony had this sorted in no time, replacing the wooden beams and sorting the floor out. Over the course of a week and a half they have transformed the room and created a beautiful fully tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. It is perfect. We have waited 10 years to get this bathroom done for one reason or another, but it has been worth the wait!! I would 100% recommend Tony and the guys, you will not be disappointed. Only thing left to say is a big thank you to Tony, Sean and Joe for all their hard work and giving us a fabulous bathroom!

Just had a new Boiler fitted and couldn't be more happy with the service, The men did a fantastic job arriving at the time they said. They explained to us how to use our new boiler and left the place spotless. I would highly recommend this company to anyone

Tony and the team fitted a new Worcester bosch boiler, well pleased ,courteous, on time, efficient and knowledgeable

I don't know where to start really...a week before Christmas, no heating or hot water for two weeks and I tried countless Plumbers to be put off until the middle of January 2025. Called Tony, recommended on the Worcester website and he answered immediately. I explained the issue and he was at our house the same day. He knew the issue immediately and also pointed out the problem with the gas pipe which I knew which gave me comfort in his knowledge. Our 16 year old boiler we knew was dead, so a quote arrived as planned pre 8 am the next morning. the price was fair and we agreed the deal. They came earlier than planned the following Tuesday and Tony and Joe are ultimate professionals and great guys to boot! Work was immaculate, explained all the way through, reassured throughout and here I am typing this in a warm house with a smile on my face. I think me and Em have a friend for life in Tony and no one else will service this system but these guys in the future. Having worked in the service industry all my life it has cheered me to see there are people like me out there that still go the extra mile. Happy Christmas APD Heating and Energy LTD.
