Located in Altrincham APE heating is a fully qualified heating installation, boiler repair and boiler servicing business operating in south Manchester and the surrounding areas of Cheshire. Our objective is to offer home owners new boiler installations, annual boiler servicing and a boiler repair service thats focused, delivering the highest standard of workmanship, that is reliable, efficient and with no hidden cost.

Matt, has been servicing my boiler for over 2 years now and also fixing it when problems arrive. He is always honest on his appraisal of the problems and happy to discuss the detail of the problem. Matt carried out the annual service on our Vaillant combi boiler ( having installed it 2 years ago ). He was punctual, professional, and friendly. Matt quoted for the work and gave various options to fit the size of the property. As the property had not had a gas boiler in that location before it required all new pipework linking to the existing connections for the radiators and water. Job done at the agreed time and even came back a few days later to fit the towel rail as the builders had not finished the bathroom in time. On time and on budget, nothing was too much trouble and would recommend to anybody with a similar project.

Our boiler packed in on Thurs 9th Jan during the cold snap (-9C!). Called Matt the next morning and he came within 30 mins to investigate. Explained available options, provided a competitive quote for replacement and even arrived 9am sharp on the Saturday. Worked flat out until 6pm to get us up and running. Personable, professional and really knowledgable. Quality of work excellent. Will be our go to from now on, would recommend to anyone - a business you can absolutely trust. Thank you Matt!

Contracted Matthew to renew gas piping which was original lead to copper. This involved several days to run new copper to a boiler, hob and two fires. Matthew worked over several days to do this and made sure that my mother’s priorities were followed. Thanks Matt

I am delighted with the work done by Matt and his team. Our boiler failed shortly before Xmas. Matt came out the same day, provided a competitive quote and was able to fit a new Vaillant boiler within the week. He is knowledgeable, practical and friendly, and happily provided several options, including tracking down a part for the old obsolete boiler. Communication throughout was excellent and I appreciated his customer centred approach and clear advice. The work was completed effortlessly to time and budget, despite extra work needed on electrics and gas pipework. Highly recommended.
