Our boiler packed in on Thurs 9th Jan during the cold snap (-9C!). Called Matt the next morning and he came within 30 mins to investigate. Explained available options, provided a competitive quote for replacement and even arrived 9am sharp on the Saturday. Worked flat out until 6pm to get us up and running. Personable, professional and really knowledgable. Quality of work excellent. Will be our go to from now on, would recommend to anyone - a business you can absolutely trust. Thank you Matt!

Contracted Matthew to renew gas piping which was original lead to copper. This involved several days to run new copper to a boiler, hob and two fires. Matthew worked over several days to do this and made sure that my mother’s priorities were followed. Thanks Matt

Matt came out the same day, provided a competitive quote and was able to fit a new Vaillant boiler within the week. He is knowledgeable, practical and friendly, and happily provided several options, including tracking down a part for the old obsolete boiler. Communication throughout was excellent and I appreciated his customer centred approach and clear advice. The work was completed effortlessly to time and budget, despite extra work needed on electrics and gas pipework. Highly recommended.

We’ve been using APE Boiler Installation & Servicing for the past three years, and they’ve been amazing. We first found them through a local social media recommendation when we needed to replace our broken boiler, and we’re so glad we did! When Matt and his team came to install the new boiler, they were super friendly and professional. Matt explained all the different combi boiler options in a way that made sense and helped us pick the one that worked best for us. After the installation, he went over the manual, showed us how to maintain the pressure, and gave us tips on keeping the 10-year warranty valid. Since then, Matt has been back every year to service the boiler and make sure it’s running perfectly. This year, he even checked out a possible water leak for free, which was such a relief. Firstly I've used Matt before to service my boiler and had excellent and professional service so when i needed to call on him again i was comfortable in engaging him to investigate this problem. On this occasion my boiler had a fault indicated by the flashing error code on the panel. The boiler wasn't providing any heat for water or central heating. Once again Matt was extremely helpful and identified the issue very quickly, the gas valve appeared to be faulty. As the boiler is now 18 years old Matt not only sourced a new gas valve but also completely refurbished the entire boiler and serviced it again. This was quite complicated as the boiler model gas valve had been modified from the original design and required additional gas pipework replacement. At all times he kept me abreast of progress and his cost estimate was accurate and acceptable. He is also very pleasant, engaging and makes you feel at ease. As a retired engineer myself i can without doubt recommend Matt who is clearly a skilled gas engineer and very professional and diligent in his approach to his work.

Matt and his team installed a new boiler system replacing our old condenser boiler. The work was carried out to a very high standard with very little disruption. Communication throughout was really good with clear explanations, and timely responses, it is evident Matt takes great pride in his work.
