I was impressed with Apex Doma from day one. They were recommended to me by a friend who had used them, and they did not dissappoint. They got back to me quick with a quote, and when the time came to install, the communication was really first class. I had regular emails, text messages in the mornings with the time the team would arrive. Even the contracted scaffolding company was on top of things. They worked around issues with our property like the proposed location of the battery and once the job was done, they tidied up and left the place nice and clean. The after sales was great too, they explained how it all worked with the apps, and completed all the required paperwork for us.

After viewing Apex doma on YouTube and seeing how informative Ian was,we decided to get a quote for Tesla power wall 3 with expansion pack plus gateway, to replace our current battery system,the quote was very competitive so decided to go ahead with the work, The team did a brilliant job of removing the old batteries and integrating the power wall with gateway with our exciting solar array, The hole job looks so much neater and professional than what we had before, And we couldn't be happier with how it's operating, So would have no problems in recommending Apex doma, to anyone looking to invest in solar panels and batteries, because of their professional approach to customer relations, and workmenship.

We obtained 5 quotes for this work, and Apex Doma were the clear leaders from the tender process and beyond. Their customer service was brilliant, They designed a system which fitted our needs really well, and they installed it in a very professional manner. We found them to be a great company to deal with throughout. The initial consultation with Ian was really informative and he provided a quote which followed the discussion we had shortly afterwards. We then made a few changes based on the quotation which were amended to the quote very soon afterwards. The install was then carried out very quickly after we decided to choose Apex Doma as our supplier, and the install proceeded smoothly, taking around 2-3 days total spread across 3-4 days. When the work was finished there were a couple of snagging issues but these were dealt with super quickly and ahead of payment of the final invoice. There was a lot of paperwork shared electronically with us during the process covering the MCS Certification, the G99 form, electrical certificate and all other requirements, warranties etc, and this was all shared in a useful hand over pack. At the close of the work the scaffolding was as left up for a few weeks at no extra cost on request, allowing me to repair a gutter (nothing to do with the works). Overall the company were highly professional from start to finish and a joy to be a customer of. Thanks for the quality installation and experience.

I was interested in battery storage and started to have discussions with Apex Doma as a local installer in 2025 with respect to the various options and providers that might be appropriate. From the first interaction I was extremely impressed with the friendly, professional, helpful and efficient way in which the company conducts its business and I remained impressed as they continued to support me through some months of decision-making and then as we moved on, ultimately, into site-visits, quotations and installation. The company exceeded my every expectation and they would be my first choice if I need to look at solar/battery in the future and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trusted installer of these technologies.

Had a Tesla Powerwall 3 with 2 expansion packs and Gateway plus a Hypervolt EV charger installed over 10-12 August. Matt and Liam the installation team arrived on schedule were informative and helpful and willing to problem solve whilst installing the batteries in our cellar. They were always polite and respectful and took care whilst moving heavy and bulky equipment around the property. The installation went as planned following the site / location pre installation assessment by Ian and Leigh the design engineers. Matt and Liam produced an exceptionally neat and tidy install following which they left everything clean, removed all the packaging wiring off cuts etc. Matt checked everything was working as expected including the Tesla and Hypervolt Apps on my phone for system control. Apex Doma are not the cheapest Solar and Battery company in the Midland, but their waiting list is testimony that quality is worth both the cost and the wait. They insurance protect your install and are worthy of their reputation for quality.

We found Apex Doma via their very informative YouTube channel, which gave us the confidence to reach out to them. After a no sales pressure meeting with Ian, a fully detailed quotation was provided for our review, with a cost breakdown of all equipment to be provided to the smallest detail for clarity. It wasn't a difficult decision, and an order was placed for the installation of our solar & battery system, and we couldn't be happier. All in all an excellent experience with equal credit going to all the staff from production of quotation, the office staff, installation, commissioning and after care. Purchased supply and fit , Tesla Powerwall3 (no backup) and 14 panels with solid bird protection skirting. Sales process - excellent, a 45 min zoom call takes place where you are taken through the whole process and how it all works specifically for your property ( sun predictions etc) - chance to ask questions etc. They also have loads of YouTube videos you can watch. No sales pressure like a lot of other firms. About a week later, an in-house surveyor visits the property and discusses options. I particularly like the way they design the system with you in mind rather than just giving you a generic set up ( like most firms). I did loads of research on solar installers and I got a good feeling from these guys. I get the impression that this industry uses lots of sub contractors who will be hard to get back if things go wrong afterwards but I am confident that the only work Apex Doma sub out is the scaffolding. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Installation - straightforward, scaffolding up on Tuesday, roof work Thursday, PW installation and commissioning Friday. The team Matt, Liam, Charlie and Owen were spot on. Very professional and tidy and obviously love the work and tech. I particularly like the fact that Apex Doma are employing a couple of young lads and teaching them a decent trade. Paperwork G99 application, building control all done in background. Aftersales Again, all done via YouTube videos, explaining how app works, available tariffs etc

Following the review of the plethora of offers for PV on the market - I was sure impressed with ApexDoma. From the moment of the first visit - all the way through to the completion of the work - the team has been fantastic! A friendly, approachable and sound working team which I can only highly recommend. The installation was technically tricky - but there was always a solution and the dreaded"we cannot do that" was never heard! They were never short of taking time to explain things again when needed. More so - since installation - the troubleshooting with ApexDoma has been superb! To no fault of their work or installation (very important to mention!) - some issues with the battery system and others following the energy company making a mistake when installing my smart meter - it was ApexDoma and their team who were at hand to firstly calm down nerves, help, advise and send a member of the team round to rectify all of the above. So I am a happy solar panel customer and cannot wait for the weather to improve now! Top marks for all of you guys - from the office team, the roofers, the electricians and the CEOs! I can highly recommend Apex Doma, who have just installed solar panels and battery storage at my home. I had an initial phone consultation with Ian then a home visit to go into more detail and look at the site. I was very impressed with the way that Ian approached things from an engineering point of view to calculate the most appropriate number of panels and size of battery that would meet my needs, within a budget that was manageable. Having a bespoke solution was very reassuring, along with the long guarantee periods. The installation took a couple of days and the team – Liam, Charlie, Sam and Matt - were all very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining everything to me as they went along, and leaving the site tidy at the end of each visit. Adam kept a careful oversight of the whole project and Jenny in the office dealt with my queries efficiently. The team quickly carried out all the necessary follow-up to obtain the relevant documents needed for me to be able to export electricity to the grid. They also sent me a helpful set of videos, explaining all the handover information and outlined several options for solar tariffs. I really liked the enthusiasm of Apex Doma for wanting to work towards a greener future with sustainable energy. It contributed to how much care they took over the work at my house, supporting me in the move to getting the best out of my solar panels and battery. I recently had 12 Solar panels (a full roof!), battery system and invertor system fitted by Apex Doma and I've got to say that they were polite, tidy, helpful and a pleasure to have working on my property. Everything was explained to me whenever I had a question regarding the installation. Ian was fantastic in the first instance, coming round and explaining the process and it was great to see the other partner of Apex Doma call round to make sure that the installation the going to plan. Liam and Charlie were polite, helpful and made very as little noise/disturbance as they possibly could during the installation of the panels and the Electricians/Techs (Joe,Matt and Sam) were cracking lads (don't be put off by their youthful looks) they were super helpful, tidied up after themselves and answered all my (daft) questions. I'd definitely recommend Apex Doma to anyone wanting a Solar system fitted by a trusted, honest, upfront & local company. After considering a number of quotes I chose Apex Doma to install our solar and battery system. The quote was competitive, but the deciding factor was the level of detail and knowledge that Ian showed at the site survey. He took the time to answer all my questions and thoroughly followed up various structural and specification queries. I also appreciated the demo of the app / management software, it was useful to help me understand the full benefits of the system, and particularly the impact of the battery storage. I hadn't initially appreciated the difference the combination of storage and electricity tariff makes, particularly during the winter months when solar generation is lower. After agreeing to the quote, the work was completed approximately a month later. The project was well managed from start to finish, with little involvement required from myself. The install team were personable and professional, the work was completed to a high standard and everything left clean and tidy afterwards. After the install was finished all the required paperwork was swiftly completed as well, most of this is taken care of by Apex Doma, but they also give guidance on how to fill in the bits I needed to do (e.g. with the energy company to apply for the export tariff). After the work was signed off as complete there were a couple of minor issues I noted. Apex quickly dealt with these and I am now 100% happy with the system. Thanks to Ian, Adam and the team. Have been very pleased with our choice of Apex Doma to install solar panels for us. They were the easiest of the local Which Trusted installers to get an appointment with, were very flexible on appointment times and then listened to what we wanted, made suggestions and then quoted for systems that were suitable for our needs. We were very impressed by the transparency of what they were recommending, what it comprised, what it would do for us, how quickly it might pay back and what assumptions they had made in calculating this. When we had chosen to go with them and decided on what we wanted, they were very quick to arrange the installation. Everything was installed on one day, the panels and inverter look good and seem to be working well. Their quote wasn't the cheapest, but it felt as if their customer service was the best and we think we have got the high-quality installation we were hoping for. When we want to add a battery in the future, we will be contacting them again.

We are very pleased with the work carried out by Apex Doma. It was done very quickly (only 24 days from the proposal to completion of the work). In spite of the speed, we felt they were very thorough with all their calculations and work. We had a small problem which we didn't foresee. We have an old house (1930s build) and the drilling to install the inverter caused a small disturbance to our hall decoration. Apex Doma offered to sort this problem out, but we did it ourselves and it was not a game changer. For others it may be worth asking about alternative ways of installing the inverter. I deliberately left space between completion of the work and writing this review because I wanted to see how the system performed over time. I am pleased to say our electricity bills have dropped dramatically. Computer software (Givenergy) is supplied as part of the package, along with a video about how to make best use of it. I feel I have understood this, and I have experimented a bit. I may still need help to be able to use the full functionality of the phone app, but I will feel comfortable to ask Apex Doma about this.

We chose 5 solar panel installers at random, 3 of them didn’t even come to survey our house and did it all online/phone, far from ideal in our opinion. My wife suggested we go to Which Trusted Traders and we found Apex Doma based in Wilmslow. Adam really impressed us and answered all our questions; he wasn’t pushy or highly critical of other brands. He simply explained why they preferred to use what they did so we decided to go ahead having compared his company information to all the others. We still can’t believe the speed and efficiency of their work! After we accepted the quote, the order was ready within a week to be delivered to our house. The scaffold was erected on Friday, Adam and his team delivered the panels, battery, inverter and bits and bobs on Saturday, and the team arrived on Monday to install it, they worked from 8.30am, right through until 8.30pm and the system was up and running immediately. There were a few snagging issues which were quickly rectified and on Wednesday the scaffolding was removed, very impressive indeed! All the certification paperwork was sent through within a couple of days so we could register for our Solar Export Guarantee. I would recommend this company without hesitation, they kept us informed at all stages of the installation, and any queries we had were answered quickly, professionally and efficiently. Well done to Adam and his team for the amazing hard work, we’re already enjoying the benefits of our purchase. Thank you!

We had a previous solar install that fell through with another provider due to an inadequate initial structural survey, however Ian at Apex went through all the options and provided detailed information every step of the way, taking my concerns and the outcome of the previous install into account. They provide detailed documentation on the process they take, all the checks they've made and provide a useful video explaining all the paperwork at each step in the journey. Along with this whenever I had a question they were always able to explain things, along with admitting when they didn't know but always went away and found out. The install went as scheduled and completed to a good standard. There were a couple of snags but these were rectified quickly and without fuss. There was also some issues with the software that came with the battery but Apex Doma worked with both myself and the supplier to get these rectified in an efficient manner. I'd highly recommend Apex Doma for both solar and battery installs.

Had solar panels and battery fitted. Service received from beginning to end was excellent. Ian clearly outlined the proposal at survey visit and Apex expertly delivered the solution in a timely fashion. All workers polite, tidy and professional at all stages. Very happy with the installation, I would not hesitate to recommend the company, my brother has already signed up for panels and battery for himself!

The team were excellent from start to finish and extremely knowledgeable. They were polite and friendly and communication was very good and were able to start the job earlier than the date given. They arrived promptly and worked throughout the day and beyond every through the sleet and completed the job quickly and efficiently with no issues. The explanation at the end on how to use the equipment to gain the best results was clear and precise. Apex Doma have fitted both an EV charger and solar panels with a battery to our property. They were efficient and reliable with excellent communication. They gave honest advice when they visited for a quote and completed the job on budget. We had a small issue with the system after they had finished but this was quickly rectified without delay. We have used Apex Doma before; they are a reliable company with a skilled team. Ian came promptly and solved our worrying fusebox problem. The fault was found and sorted in a couple of hours. However I am pleased to say that the work carried out by Apex Doma was First Class and completed on budget and schedule. The Tradesmen were extremely helpful, considerate and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They arrived promptly every day- carried out the work - and left having first cleared the area. Everything was left clean and tidy. They kept me fully informed at every stage and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and would use their services again.

The engineer arrived when promised and tidied up after himself when the job was completed. There was a small problem with the installation, but this was corrected without any fuss.
