I grew tired of the larger firms doing a year's service deal and then whacking up the price so I looked for a local company. I signed up with them five years ago and they have serviced my boiler and gas fires ever since. They also fitted an electric under sink water heater and sorted out a faulty shower, which involved several visits to resolve. They are prompt to attend to call outs and the guys who attend are unfailingly polite and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I needed my 17 year old boiler replacing. From the initial request to the survey and receiving two boiler options was very quick. Arranged an installation date and the installer arrived on time on the correct day. Old boiler removed and new unit installed in an efficient manner. The electrician arrived later to wire up the new boiler and controls. On completion had an explanation of the various boiler functions and demonstration of the boiler working. In all a very pleasant experience.

We have used the services of APG for years and without fail, they have always done an excellent job. This time, we had a new boiler put in, which was located in a different place to the original. Nothing was too much trouble for Harry, who completed the job quickly and efficiently, despite the convoluted aspects of the boiler’s new location. The site was left immaculate, and the boiler positioning was extremely neat. We would always recommend APG.

This company is brilliant. Had my gas boiler serviced by a young man who knew his job,was polite,efficient and explained all he had done. Price was good and will use again.

Arranged to have two new radiators and additional pipework fitted by APG. Marcus arrived on time, he was courteous, and we discussed the work to be completed. He worked hard throughout the day and completed the work as required. The quality of his work was excellent and he discussed each step with us. Totally satisfied with the result and cannot recommend this company enough. They arrive on time and do what is required. Communication is always very good. Happy customer.

First impression was good with Howard and this continued when Carl refitted my bathroom, the work was really high quality, Carl kept me fully updated throughout and made good suggestions on the small details that matter like the tile patterns and ceiling tiles. They went out and bought ceiling tiles as I had forgot to buy with no problem. Really helpful. Carried out the job as instructed and tidied up afterwards. The house was empty so they did a good job keeping me updated and sending images etc Would highly recommend

Marvelous firm who do all my gas fires and boiler repairs. Came very quickly when I had no heating and sorted it out. Brilliantly completed by Luke, but all the men who have ever been out to me are so good, efficient and kind when I was so upset and wondering if I would ever be warm again. I have a fairly old boiler, but that doesn’t bother them and they know exactly how to fix it and they don’t pressure me into getting a new one. I will always use this very good company and I think their staff are second to none. Thank you.

We have used APG several times for plumbing and heating work, the most recent being the fitting of a new combi boiler where we found the team to be very hardworking, polite and time-efficient and did a very good job. Would have no problems recommending APG to others.

I was very pleased with the electrical work carried out by APG Heating/Plumbing/Electrics which involved supplying and fitting a bathroom wall heater. It involved accessing the loft to carry out this installation and the job was done to an excellent standard. The electricians hoovered up after the job was completed and the bathroom looked immaculate after their work. They were very customer friendly and got on with the job, no slacking. I have a lot of work carried out by this company and completely trust them to do a good job.

We get the impression that APG not only cares about its customers but also cares about its staff. This is reflected in how happy and pleasant they appear (and we have seen a lot of them in our 12 years with APG). Today we had an emergency visit from Luke and Jimmy, relating to our gas fire and possible incomplete combustion. We are always happy to see Luke as he is very competent and extremely personable. Jimmy told us he is new to the company. Two more enthusiastic gas engineers it would be hard to find! They quickly did the necessary safety checks and thankfully reinstated our heating. We were extremely happy with the service, as usual.

From booking the repair appointment, the work being carried out, through to invoice and receipt, APG are exceptional in every way. It was a pleasure to have Muz in our home. He took the time to explain the problem thoroughly and nothing was too much trouble. A true professional with an amazing knowledge of his trade. Thank you.

APG did a 1st class job on the day, took no time at all and all good & well up to now. New Rad makes the bathroom nice & cosy. Good work.

Our boiler developed an intermittent fault - heating was always available but hot water to the taps was often unavailable. The APG technician, Luke, investigated patiently and identified the problem. A new part was ordered and fitted in good time for Christmas and all seems well!

Really happy with the service provided by APG for the installation of a new boiler. There were a couple of quirks to work around due to the type of property, and location of the boiler but APG handled them easily and without fuss. The survey was straightforward with clear comms, a good explanation of the options, with no hard sell (which I particularly appreciated). The chap who installed the boiler was very pleasant and courteous and again took time to talk through what he was doing and gave a good demonstration of the boiler's features. He also kept everything clean and tidy and used clear plastic to protect the carpets. All aspects were covered at the times specified and the cost was exactly as quoted. It's early days but very happy with the ATAG boiler and feel assured by the 12-year warranty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend APG :)

As usual very prompt efficient service from APG. A new pump was fitted to our boiler on the same day as the call out, despite the engineer having to order one. we have a contract with APG For boiler service and maintenance, so glad we have as they never let us down and we certainly don't have to wait days which many people do In the same situation. They have also fitted a new bathroom for us, excellent job. We continue to recommend APG to friends and family. Complete peace of mind for boiler and heating. Look at their excellent very reasonable service plans.

APG have serviced our 17 year old Worcester Bosch boiler for a good few years, at this years service the heat exchanger was corroded and whilst the boiler was still working the engineer doing the service couldn't guarantee that it would continue to do so over the winter. We, therefore, decided to opt for a new boiler and after discussion with APG decided on an ATAG boiler, at a price that we were happy with. On Thursday the 30th September our fitter Harry arrived on schedule and wasted no time, covering our hall carpet, looking at the old boiler and informing us of everything that he would be doing, what services would be off and thanked us for being prepared by having the system turned off ready for him to start. Everything went extremely smoothly with Harry explaining on completion of the job how the new boiler worked and the controls we needed to use. There was only one hiccup in that the thermostatic control for the old system was being used for the new one and unfortunately, the electrician had to call back to sort out a small problem with this, later on, that evening our heating would not come on and we, therefore, left a message for APG as their office was now closed, they returned our call first thing the following morning and within the hour their electrician was here and the problem was sorted. Thank you APG would highly recommend this company their staff are courteous and very efficient.
