An old boiler was removed with all the work that entailed in the process. In addition, a new digital electric fire was placed in the fireplace with the engineer creating a feature surrounding it, to make it look aesthetically pleasing. All the old boiler components and other sundries were removed by APG within a short space of time after removal. Finally APG’s electrical team came to connect up the digital fire to the main electric supply in the house. Overall the work was well coordinated by three different teams in APG, I was very satisfied with the work completed. I appreciate the corporate ethos of APG.

After getting quotes from other traders I settled on APG because they were competitive and Chris’s initial survey was done so professionally and thoroughly. I am so pleased that I did. Harry, James and George arrived promptly and were friendly, polite and super efficient. They kept me informed throughout and made sure that I wasn’t left without heating or hot water for any length of time. The new boiler was fitted into a side outhouse very neatly and my old boiler was removed from the loft without creating any mess. They removed the old flue from the roof and re-tiled the gap, removed surplus pipes from the gable wall and left everywhere clean and tidy. Excellent service! Thank you!

I booked a service appointment with APG and was given a time for the job which suited me. The service engineer, Jimmy, arrived promptly at the specified time and he had a very friendly approach and asked me if I had any problems/faults with the boiler. I told him I was very pleased with the boiler performance and it operated exactly to my requirements. Jimmy explained what he was doing in reply to my questions and overall he was very polite and friendly. He finished the service and completed the details of the service in the Owners Manual for future reference. I find dealing with APG is very good and they provide an excellent service and would recommend them with confidence.

We had Muz out for a boiler service yesterday. He is very professional and has so much knowledge. Gave us some tips for our water usage and how to adjust the thermostat for the hot water but also gave us his honest opinion regarding monthly costs. Very friendly and efficient. Also when calling to make appts the team at APG are also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Rang this morning 22/01/2024 regarding our central heating boiler pressure loss, was given a same day appointment (there had been a cancellation) , the engineer arrived early in the time slot given, quickly diagnosed the fault (expansion vessel) rectified the fault and explained everything , excellent customer service , thank you !

A new combi boiler was required due to leakage. James arrived at the time given and took great care to protect all carpets and floor covering before starting work. He talked through what the job would involve before turning off the gas and water. The work then proceeded smoothly and quietly and the heat was back on by lunch time. He then explained exactly how the controls worked and made sure that I was satisfied with everything. A good job, well done. I can highly recommend APG.

Early evening, Xmas Eve as a consequence of retrieving a mobile phone that had fallen behind a radiator, water was escaping from the radiator, which was subsequently loose from its brackets! APG service our boiler. They were able to get one of their Engineers to call round to sort the emergency, stopping the leak within some 30 minutes of me, contacting them, and to return after the holiday break to properly refix the radiator on its brackets. Replacement central heating boiler and cistern, clear quotes at a range of price points, neat, tidy work done with care and attention to detail. Well presented, polite, helpful and knowledgable staff. We were happy to take out their after care service and annual check. Solar panels, battery and convertor which required a inset circuit board upgrade, further complicated by the original builders cementing in the wiring. Despite the challenges the work was done neatly and carefully. The area was left clean and tidy. From quote to completion they have been available to answer any queries in a helpful and professional capacity, work carried out on budget and in a timely fashion. Excellent value for money, would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I contacted APG to request a quote for a new boiler, to remove a radiator and move another and add valves to the existing radiators. Chris came out and gave us a couple of quotes for an expensive option and budget. No pressure to go with either and was impressed with his knowledge. We arranged the work and Harry and George did an excellent job of the fitting. They worked to timescales, left everything neat and tidy and were very polite. Harry phoned to give us an update at the end of each day. Can’t fault the service.

I would highly recommend this company. I contacted them to get a new quote for a boiler replacement after my current boiler maintenance company (Your Repair) stated that the boiler was beyond economic repair. Chris came to do the quote and after a quick look said he thought it could be repaired. He contacted one of the service engineers who arrived next day and said that a valve needed replacing. I got a price for this same day gave go ahead and work done next day. Happy customer. Will definitely use this company to replace the boiler when it needs to be done.

This time, we needed a qualified electrician to fit a replacement cooker hob. We contacted APG, as we knew their standard of work and we trusted them. They sent an electrician in to assess the job, and to confirm that the rating was suitable. I received a quote and arranged an appointment to fit. Two electricians came, on time and were polite, well-presented, efficient and extremely careful and methodical in their work, ensuring surfaces were covered. They checked the operation of the hob, and made sure we were happy before they left. We asked about paying, and they explained we would receive an invoice in the next few days, and told us how to make payment!

Found this company through recommendation and reviews on this website. Our first experience with them, but easy to see why they are a Which Trust Trader. From our first contact, through to completion of work the company has been excellent. Chris came as arranged to talk through options and advise us about the 7 (very old) radiators we wished to replace. We were sent a detailed quote for the work the next day, which we accepted and a date was fixed. On the day, James arrived as arranged and was absolutely brilliant, completing the work efficiently and carefully. Everything was left tidy and he explained everything on completion and also tested the system to ensure everything was working. He was supported by other members of the team when necessary. It all happened like clockwork! this was the first time we have used this company, but we would certainly be happy to use them again and recommend them to others as well.

Having dealt with APG for a number of years, having fitted new boilers to both mine & my parents properties, it was time to service my parents boiler. I arranged with Customer Services for an appointment 9am - 12noon. The engineer duly arrived around half nine, very politely mannered & calm. Explained the procedure & with great efficiency carried out the service. No mess, no clearing up after him & on his way with a cheery goodbye. Excellent service from start to finished.

Following our boiler breakdown a plumber arrived within 4 hours of ringing APG, unheard of these days. The plumber was excellent, diagnosed the problem in minutes and fixed it within 30 minutes. No pressure to upgrade or buy a service contract. A credit to the firm.

Yet another excellent piece of work by APG. They have done plumbing and electrical work for me over the last three years and have always been excellent. The office staff are very obliging and willingly sort any issues. The technicians are highly proficient and professional. I had a radiator to be fitted which I had purchased. I called APG and an engineer came out and assessed the work and the radiator was fitted shortly afterwards. The engineer who fit the radiator was a credit to the company. He discussed the best way to fit the radiator with me, was polite and hard working and made sure the room was left clean and tidy. Our current boiler system was around 35 years old with an old tank hidden in a cupboard upstairs and a boiler around 10 years old in the kitchen that was reaching the end of its usable life. Chris from APG came out to view our old system and explained what options were available to bring our heating and water system into modern times. We chose a Worcester Bosche Combi Boiler which fitted into a small kitchen cupboard hidden away and all brand new pipework and flue. We no longer needed a tank so this was removed and all old materials and boiler were taken away. Once the new system was in place we were given a user demo by their installer who carefully explained what each function did on the boiler. Harry and George of the Installation Team for APG were punctual, knowledgeable and very clean and tidy with their work. Everything was taken away at the end and there was no mess whatsoever for us to clean. We've had the new system in place for a few days now, instant hot water, a far more efficient heat through our radiators and we are really pleased with our investment of a new modern system. I fully recommend APG for their reliability and knowledgeable employees and trust in the work they complete.

Callum and James came to carry out a bathroom refurbishment, mainly taking a bath out and replacing it with a shower, new flooring and some work on the toilet, although there were a couple of setbacks which were nothing to do with them they approached the work confidently. Their work was of a highly professional standard and we were very happy to have them in our home. They were courteous and considerate at all times. Also Howard who came to measure and price the work, came back to answer a couple of queries that set our mind at rest, he too was patient, kind and courteous towards us.

From quote to fixing of our solar panels and battery storage system everything has been perfect. APG quoted us one week and started work the following week. All the workers have been very courteous and patient with us as we asked questions (as solar power is a totally new concept to us). They tidied up every day and on completion of the work you couldn't tell that they had been. We are so pleased with every aspect of the installation and would have no hesitation in recommending APG to anyone. Well done guys!

I have used APG before to install a solar PV system several years ago and so asked for a quote to install a new oil fired Combi boiler to replace a very old range cooker/boiler. This included fitting /replacing several radiators, updating the hot water system and removing all the redundant equipment. The quote was very detailed and competitive (unlike some others I received). All the work has been completed as specified with no increase to the price quoted despite a few extra parts being needed. The installers, James and Matt were a pleasure to have working in our house and were helpful, polite and keen to ensure that we were pleased with the work and that everything was fitted to our entire satisfaction. The standard of work has been excellent and I would thoroughly recommend APG as a company to deal with.

I have had home solar panels with battery back up installed and can not fault the 1st class service and installation. I always base my reviews on whether I would want/trust the company to enter my own parents home. House isolation stop-tap was not operative any longer. APG quoted to replace with a new one and make a Lead to Copper pipe connection as required due to property being a 1960's build. Plumber arrived on time and completed work on time.

APG fitted a new Worcester Bosch combi-boiler after removing my very old gravity fed boiler and all the plumbing in the loft plus the water storage tanks and the copper hot water cylinder. The engineers were very thorough and their expertise was evident as the work progressed. the second day of their visit the new boiler was mounted on the kitchen wall and all connections were made. I had problems with the basin taps in the hall cloakroom and the upstairs bathroom and the engineer advised me to purchase two new sets which I did. The original taps were installed when the house was built so new sets were overdue to be fitted. The new taps were ordered and were fitted within two weeks. Each engineer who visited had specific skills covering heating and plumbing. All the engineers were very polite and cleaned the area after the work was completed. The charges for each of the jobs were very reasonable and I would gladly recommend the services of APG to sort your problems.

I have used this company for the last five years to service my boiler and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They are prompt, efficient and fairly priced. I also used them to have a new bathroom suite installed about three years ago and again the work was completed with the minimum of disruption and at a reasonable cost.

Requested a service for my electric boiler and was charged £70 to be told it doesn't need one. Why send an engineer in the first place particularly when the boiler itself was supplied by APG and they had my details from when it was installed. This information should have been relayed at the time of booking not after sending the engineer. I accept that call out fees need to be charged but not when the call out could have been avoided. A valve on a radiator was replaced during the visit which isn't included in the £70 but had I known my boiler didn't need servicing, I would have cancelled the visit and fixed the valve myself. When I contacted them to query the price, zero effort was made to appease the situation. Disappointed.

APG replaced most of our bathroom which had been poorly installed by a different company some years ago. APG understood the problem very quickly and worked hard to provide a sensible solution. APG were professional at all times and the project was successfully completed under very challenging circumstances - extreme weather and product supply complications. When I was having a TV aerial installed, my gas pipe was accidentally drilled into. It felt quite stressful afterwards, but a phone call to APG soon had the repair underway. APG visited my house 3 times to assess the work that needed doing and a final time to do the repair in a very efficient, way with minimal disruption. The visits even included one from the manager. The repair was completed well within 24 hours. The cost was very reasonable and actually a little less tan I expected. I've not used APG before, but I am definitely considering them for a long overdue central heating system upgrade.

APG diagnosed a problem we had with our underfloor heating which needed both there plumber and electrician to come and do separate jobs. From the staff manning the phones who were really polite and helpful to Matt the apprentice who recommended APG, to the electrician (sorry can’t remember his name) but he was so polite and helpful and informative to Muz the plumber who again was helpful, polite and knowledgeable our heating is now working. They turned up when they said they would and the job done was executed professionally and swiftly…. APG Ltd attended our property promptly after telephoning their office and describing some issues we were having with our heating systems. A badly fitted radiator by a different contractor was rectified by their engineer and made usable again, plus another radiator that wouldn't heat up at all. System all drained and refilled within an hour. In this period of freezing cold weather their valuable and attentive service was most appreciated. As a Landlord I wouldn't use anyone else in future.

No heating or hot water just before Christmas, disaster! APG came out to us on the same day, and resolved the issue within 20 minutes. Muz was very polite and respectful of the property and soon found the leaking air valve, removed it, capped the pipe and explained why it was leaking, and how it wasn't needed due to modern boilers having integral valves. He did not leave until the heating and water were tested and everything was ok.

Being told on holiday we had a burst water pipe that a neighbour had managed to turn off we contacted APG to perform a repair so we had water when we got home. They came out, found the problem and performed the repair very promptly, timed to fit in with our needs and at an amazing price for an emergency call out. I have used APG in the past to service my boiler so when it wasn't working this week I called them out. Last Friday they came and sorted it out and then again with a different problem on Thursday which turned out to be a frozen pipe. On both occasions, I had the same engineer and he was very polite and efficient and had my heat back on and working. I would certainly recommend this company they answer the phone quickly and you are talking to a person instead of having to press several numbers before you can talk to someone. 1st rate customer service from both the service desk and the engineer. I booked a boiler service and asked for them to look at a leaky radiator. The engineer was excellent, he was informative and honest in his appraisal. He never looked to up-sell me on anything. On the back of the work carried out today I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them again myself.

The team were very helpful to me from the beginning, informing me what was available and helping me make the right decision to the work being carried out which involved removing the water tank in the attic and the water tank in the cistern cupboard to fitting a new condensing boiler together with a new shower. I would like to thank Harry and his apprentice George and also Les for completing, which was for me such a difficult job, in a very efficient and organised way. I would definitely recommend APG. Engineer, Darren, arrived as per the appointment to replace my combi boiler. He was friendly, polite and professional throughout. Did the job in a day. When finished, he explained all the controls in detail. Left my property clean and tidy and took all the old parts away. Would highly recommend this company.

Just had my bungalow rewired and the two gentleman were extremely polite and helpful and couldn’t do enough even though the job turned out to be a lot harder than first thought. I just had a couple of small issues and they came out and sorted it straight away, would not hesitate to recommend them.

The fan on my boiler (used to purge the exhaust gases was identified as having reached the end of its life - bearings very noisy) and arrangement was made to have it replaced. On the date arranged the APG engineer arrived on time and proceeded to replace the fan. This was done without any problem and the boiler was returned to service on what was one of the coldest days this year so far. APG are always very efficient and very tidy whenever they do any work for me. My only problem with recommending them is that I hope they don't get too busy and unable to attend to me when I need their services,

I contacted APG for a quote to install solar panels on my garage roof. APG responded quickly, Peter calculated that the maximum number of solar panels that would fit was five and on 30th of August quoted for the work. Price was OK so asked them to proceed. Yesterday, 29th of September, the team arrived to install the solar panels and invertor and install a new consumer unit. All done in 3 hours, the team worked hard, took away all of the packing material and cleaned up. At the end of the job Chris explained everything about the system, and everything is working great. Thank you, really pleased.

Had my Annual Gas Central Heating Boiler Service. From my initial phone call to arrange the appointment until work completed, the staff were very friendly, helpful and acted in a Professional manner. I got a call from the engineer before the appointment time to confirm it was ok for him to attend and when he arrived he was very polite courteous and considerate During the appointment the engineer told me every step of the way what he was doing. After chasing my usual plumber for what seemed like forever, to get a price and fitting date for some radiator upgrades, I gave APG a call. Chris came out and priced up the job quickly. Once booked in, APG came round the following week and fitted the new radiators along with some thermostatic valve to existing rads. We had a boiler replaced last year by APG and they were brilliant. Any little follow-up jobs were completed quickly and without any fuss or quibble at all. I grew tired of the larger firms doing a year's service deal and then whacking up the price so I looked for a local company. I signed up with them five years ago and they have serviced my boiler and gas fires ever since. They also fitted an electric under sink water heater and sorted out a faulty shower, which involved several visits to resolve. They are prompt to attend to call outs and the guys who attend are unfailingly polite and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I needed my 17 year old boiler replacing. From the initial request to the survey and receiving two boiler options was very quick. Arranged an installation date and the installer arrived on time on the correct day. Old boiler removed and new unit installed in an efficient manner. The electrician arrived later to wire up the new boiler and controls. On completion had an explanation of the various boiler functions and demonstration of the boiler working. In all a very pleasant experience.

First impression was good with Howard and this continued when Carl refitted my bathroom, the work was really high quality, Carl kept me fully updated throughout and made good suggestions on the small details that matter like the tile patterns and ceiling tiles. Marvelous firm who do all my gas fires and boiler repairs. Came very quickly when I had no heating and sorted it out. Brilliantly completed by Luke, but all the men who have ever been out to me are so good, efficient and kind when I was so upset and wondering if I would ever be warm again. I have a fairly old boiler, but that doesn’t bother them and they know exactly how to fix it and they don’t pressure me into getting a new one. I was very pleased with the electrical work carried out by APG Heating/Plumbing/Electrics which involved supplying and fitting a bathroom wall heater. It involved accessing the loft to carry out this installation and the job was done to an excellent standard. The electricians hoovered up after the job was completed and the bathroom looked immaculate after their work. They were very customer friendly and got on with the job, no slacking. I have a lot of work carried out by this company and completely trust them to do a good job.

We get the impression that APG not only cares about its customers but also cares about its staff. This is reflected in how happy and pleasant they appear (and we have seen a lot of them in our 12 years with APG). Today we had an emergency visit from Luke and Jimmy, relating to our gas fire and possible incomplete combustion. We are always happy to see Luke as he is very competent and extremely personable. Jimmy told us he is new to the company. Two more enthusiastic gas engineers it would be hard to find! They quickly did the necessary safety checks and thankfully reinstated our heating. We were extremely happy with the service, as usual.

Our boiler developed an intermittent fault - heating was always available but hot water to the taps was often unavailable. The APG technician, Luke, investigated patiently and identified the problem. A new part was ordered and fitted in good time for Christmas and all seems well!

Really happy with the service provided by APG for the installation of a new boiler. There were a couple of quirks to work around due to the type of property, and location of the boiler but APG handled them easily and without fuss. The survey was straightforward with clear comms, a good explanation of the options, with no hard sell (which I particularly appreciated). The chap who installed the boiler was very pleasant and courteous and again took time to talk through what he was doing and gave a good demonstration of the boiler's features. He also kept everything clean and tidy and used clear plastic to protect the carpets. All aspects were covered at the times specified and the cost was exactly as quoted. It's early days but very happy with the ATAG boiler and feel assured by the 12-year warranty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend APG :)

As usual very prompt efficient service from APG. A new pump was fitted to our boiler on the same day as the call out, despite the engineer having to order one. we have a contract with APG For boiler service and maintenance, so glad we have as they never let us down and we certainly don't have to wait days which many people do In the same situation. They have also fitted a new bathroom for us, excellent job. We continue to recommend APG to friends and family. Complete peace of mind for boiler and heating. Look at their excellent very reasonable service plans.

APG have serviced our 17 year old Worcester Bosch boiler for a good few years, at this years service the heat exchanger was corroded and whilst the boiler was still working the engineer doing the service couldn't guarantee that it would continue to do so over the winter. We, therefore, decided to opt for a new boiler and after discussion with APG decided on an ATAG boiler, at a price that we were happy with. On Thursday the 30th September our fitter Harry arrived on schedule and wasted no time, covering our hall carpet, looking at the old boiler and informing us of everything that he would be doing, what services would be off and thanked us for being prepared by having the system turned off ready for him to start. Everything went extremely smoothly with Harry explaining on completion of the job how the new boiler worked and the controls we needed to use. There was only one hiccup in that the thermostatic control for the old system was being used for the new one and unfortunately, the electrician had to call back to sort out a small problem with this, later on, that evening our heating would not come on and we, therefore, left a message for APG as their office was now closed, they returned our call first thing the following morning and within the hour their electrician was here and the problem was sorted. Thank you APG would highly recommend this company their staff are courteous and very efficient.

I have just had my boiler serviced with a very polite and professional gentleman, he did a very good and thorough job neat and tidy and explained everything all at a good price.

My central heating wasn't working so I called APG who service my boiler annually. They sent out an engineer (along with his trainee) to me the same day in the time frame indicated. The fault was quickly located and repairs effected there and then to restore my heating. Staff were polite and courteous and explained the nature of the job and gave appropriate relevant advice. Prices are always reasonable. Happy to recommend APG.

We can't thank APG enough for the work they have carried out at our home. A new boiler was installed and the heating system altered, ( a complicated job in our eyes but not to the team at APG ) plus and thanks to Barry's expert advice we also had new radiators fitted which unaware to us would have needed replacing imminently. We had an electric boiler that had been fitted when the house was built almost 50 years ago. This had failed, so we contacted APG to see if they could do anything. Christian visited and told us it was beyond repair and advised options for re-gas and electricity. He further advised that we would need Electricity Northwest to upgrade the power supply, and was on-site when they arrived! There turned out to be meter issues which meant that the job could not be completed until this was resolved and they had to return 3 weeks later. They did not charge any extra for this and didn’t ask for any payment until the job was completed. At one point we had 6 members of APG staff ( gas fitters and electricians) Even when a member of the team had to leave suddenly, they brought in additional staff to prevent delay. The work itself was done to an extremely high standard, the staff all seemed very happy in their work (a rarity these days and this says a lot about the management of the company Happy staff, happy customers). We were involved in all of the decisions and all of the team were considerate and tidy! We have no hesitation in recommending them for any and all gas or electrical work! We would not use any other supplier in the future.

The engineer arrived on time and did a very thorough job of servicing my gas fire. The price was reasonable too. I would definitely recommend this company.

We had some rather complicated lighting system faults and following a couple of visits and returns of the faulty equipment to the manufacturer it has been resolved. This was good work by Christian and Nina back at the office. All friendly and happy to recommend APG.

When it comes to changing the heating system in a house and the work involved, many people simply dread the thought of the disruption and mess generated. This proved not to be the case when APG Domestic Services asked two of their engineers Barry and Caine to undertake the work. DAY.1.All carpets are covered with plastic sheeting. Loft piping completely removed. DAY.2.New boiler and high-pressure tank, piping, and electrics configured and so much more. DAY.3.NEW SYSTEM Commissioned. The old heating system was decommissioned. All this work and much more undertaken in temperatures of 32-35c. The two engineers really deserve a real thanks and are a credit to APG. Finally, we can truly highly recommend APG and its engineers.

We moved into a house where the boiler had been serviced in the previous 7 years by APG. We decided to carry on with the annual service. I phoned to make a booking, they answered quickly and took the necessary details and booked me in. Quoted a reasonable price for the service, and that's exactly what I paid. The engineer turned up on time and was friendly. He didn't make any mess and filled in the service book with details of what he'd done. I received an email with the invoice and details that the boiler had passed its service. All in all, this was a really good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them. They seem very genuine especially where money is concerned - the price quoted is what I paid and everything was without fuss. I wish more companies were like this!

Howard, who is the installations manager at APG, came to make an initial visit with the bathroom supplier, The Original Bathroom Company. Between them they worked out a rough plan of what would be involved. They both seemed extremely knowledgeable and understood our needs. A short time later after our choices were noted, the final plan was drawn up and approved by us so all that was left was the waiting for start dates. Eventually, our two-week time slot arrived. When the day came, the APG fitters, Rick and Carl, arrived promptly and set to work. They completed the work in the two weeks allotted and throughout we were impressed by the quality of the work and their skills and expertise. They were also great chaps to have around. This is the stand-out point of APG - you can expect attention to detail and professional knowledge. Whether it be the quality of the flooring, solutions to plumbing problems, laying of tiles or whatever, we found the result to be perfect. We are delighted with the result and have found no problems whatsoever, not even any "snags" which required attention. On one occasion, the fitter Carl, pointed out a flaw in the en-suite mirror and rang the supplier to inform them that it needed replacing. The flaw was so minor I think we might hardly have noticed it. During the installation Howard and the supplier visited to see how work was progressing. We can thoroughly recommend this firm. 5-star service

APG had been recommend to us and we can see why. Very professional and courteous service. We had a back boiler removed along with water tanks in the loft and copper cylinder. This was replaced by a combi boiler. We were extremely impressed with the politeness and helpfulness of all the engineers, plumbers, electricians and office staff. Nothing was too much trouble. After the job was completed we received a phone call to check everything was OK. We would certainly recommend APG to others.

Nathan and Darren turned up on time and had the boiler apart, cleaned, fixed, serviced and reassemble very quickly. They were polite and friendly and kept me informed throughout. I've come to rely on APG over the last few years because they do what they promise and their charges are very reasonable. APG came out and fitted a new boiler as my 14 year old boiler broke and wasn’t worth repairing. The plumber was very professional, came on time, was very tidy and knowledgeable. Could smell gas under my floor boards. Called APG having never used them before. Also wanted an annual service on my boiler. The gas fitter Nathan arrived within 2 hours, very impressed. Nathan repaired the gas leak in which he had to crawl under the floor boards to gain access. He was so polite and nothing was too much trouble for him. Then he decided to carry out the service on my boiler whilst he was here. I would call that first class service. I received there invoice today and was pleasantly surprised how reasonable it was. I would most certainly recommend APG and use them again. Well done Nathan!!!

I always use these guys. They always come round as soon as they can. Whoever it is, is always really pleasant and explains things easily (even to an idiot like me). The fact it's a different person every time but they are all so brilliant says a lot about the culture of the company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend such reasonably priced quality.

From phoning Mel at 0900 on Monday 22nd September, 2021, to enquiring about a plumber to come and advise about what to do about a cracked cistern, to fitting a new toilet and cistern by 1600 on Wednesday 24th September, 2021, I was very impressed with their effectiveness and efficiency. After the initial visit on the Wednesday morning I received a phone call within a few hours with several quotes. After accepting one of the quotes another plumber arrived within the hour to do the job. I have used this firm before to service my boiler and have no hesitation in recommending them. The only reason I haven't given them 5 stars for quality and value is because the system didn't fit flush to the wall and I had to do a bit of joinery to remedy this. As for value I didn't get any more quotes to make a comparison but that was my fault not APG's.

Our boiler and heating system installed over 20 years ago started rumbling and banging so we decided on a replacement. We contacted APG who had previously installed a new bathroom for us, Chris visited to inspect the system, and submitted a quote which we thought was acceptable for the job, and less than a week later Darren and Marshall arrived to carry out the installation. They were very polite and professional, explaining what they were doing and why. It was great when they drained the system seeing the waste water turn from dirty coffee to clean water. They dealt with all the problems which an old and complicated system could throw at them, and completed the work in two days with a minimum of disruption and mess. We would certainly recommend APG for all plumbing related work, and will have no hesitation in using them in future.

Having used APG for several years, I have no hesitation in recommending the company. From emergency repairs to an old boiler (once squeezing me in on Christmas Eve) to installing a new boiler and radiators, the engineers are always knowledgeable and polite. Whilst carrying out routine service on our boiler and separate gas fire, the Technician spotted a dangerous fault on the fire. He was able to isolate the fire and arrange for the fault to be rectified by APG (I hope): until which time the fire cannot be used. I asked APG to repair a leaky shower pipe. An appointment was made for Thursday. Later in the day I received a call asking if a plumber could come early. He came, sorted the leak, cleaned up and left. The invoice arrived the next morning. Everyone was polite, cheerful and respectful. A fab service, thanks!

I have to particularly thank Mel at APG who went beyond what you expect from a company when an online Franke retailer failed to honour a warranty. The situation arose when a waste master was found to be faulty when the plumber tried to install it. Numerous phone calls and e-mails to the supplier Sinks.co.uk achieved nothing. We had been waiting 6 weeks for a replacement or a fix. Mel took over when she rang to enquire about the delay. After explaining the situation to her she contacted Franke on our behalf and the problem was fixed the following day. Excellent friendly company who exceed expectations.

During a routine boiler service on 21st January the engineer from APG advised us that our boiler was severely corroded and required replacement ASAP. He offered to show me the problem but I was happy to accept his explanation. He made a temporary repair and arranged for a quote to be given that very day for the boiler I wanted. The company went out of their way to arrange installation for Wednesday 27 January. The new boiler was fitted, central heating system flushed and house warm before tea time. A great job, very clean and carried out by an engineer who obviously new his stuff. Many thanks to all involved.

I needed a new boiler so I contacted APG following a recommendation from a friend. The boiler was fitted with very little disruption or mess and I'm very pleased with the result. The price i was quoted was the price i paid so there were no hidden extra charges. From my initial call to the boiler being installed I found everyone I spoke with to be polite, friendly, and professional. They kept me updated throughout the process and followed up after installation to make sure it had been done to my satisfaction, which it had.
