Founded by Brian Caldwell-Barr in 1974, Applejacks Gardening Services was built on a simple promise of "old-school" quality and expert horticulture. While the industry has changed since we first started in 1974, our "old-school" values remain the same. I was/am very impressed with the work being carried out. A small enclosed front porch, truly dilapidated on the inside when I moved in, has been completely transformed into a neat, insulated and welcoming entrance to my bungalow in the space of three days. Brian and Michael have been extremely courteous and professional and I will willingly recommend them.

We used this company on the recommendation of a friend as he had similar work done. This company turned up on time every day. Both the workers, Darren and Tim could not have been more helpful if they tried. Nothing was too much trouble. The site was left spotless every evening when they finished. Their attention to detail was wonderful . We are so delighted with the end result it was much better than we had dared hope for. Would certainly recommend them and this company to anyone interested in Astroturf.Thank you to you both for all your hard work and dedication.

The quality of workmanship far exceeded my expectations and the attention to detail was fantastic. I feel the quote given was accurate. The Landscapers were terrific from start to finish. They were very polite and courteous. The work was clearly explained to me and they did not mind me asking questions if I was not sure about anything. The Landscapers turned up on time and worked very hard. The Landscapers demonstrated complete respect for my property and cleaned everything on their departure. I experienced no problems with their work. I cannot recommend Applejacks highly enough. I will certainly be using them again.

Having accepted the quote back in May we were given a start date of 27 Sept. Despite the lengthy lead time, due to them having a full order book they turned up on time and completed the work within the agreed time schedule. The operatives were courteous and nothing was too much trouble when requesting a slight modification to the standard specification.

One of the very few contractors who didn't ask for money up front. Darren and Tim were the guys working on this project and they were very polite and friendly at all times. We were kept inform at each stage of the work. Mr Barr the owner visited the site multiple times to ask if we were satisfied with the work far, which we were. The end result was the most excellent job well done
