After researching Which? Trusted Traders for my local area, I contacted Apsley Wall directly and also logged an enquiry with Checkatrade. I was immediately impressed by the swift response and courtesy shown by Ricky Wall, plus his flexibility with timings to view the job. I was astounded to receive a quote within an hour of his visit! After meeting a few Checkatrade contractors the following day, I realised that I wanted to engage Ricky, but by then had slightly amended my requirements for the job. No problem - Ricky came back to the property the same evening and re-quoted for the extra work, again within a few hours. After agreeing on a date to start the job to fit in with my work commitments, there was a slight hiccup when Ricky wanted to delay by a few days. However, after a polite and understanding phone conversation, Ricky was able to juggle things to delay by only one day. Apsley Wall staff were all polite and friendly, and the job was completed to my satisfaction and with a 10-year guarantee. I would have no hesitation in asking Apsley Wall back for future work.

I employed Apsley Wall in October/November 2020 to install the foundations and drainage for my substantial residential extension. The work was completed ahead of the scheduled time and on budget. I was very happy with the overall standard of work, all the staff were knowledgable and worked hard for the entire duration of the contract. The management and communication was first class with Rick Wall being available to answer questions and provide clarification whenever required. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to others seeking any groundwork and drainage work.
