At Aquaneed we believe in improving peoples lives. We install budget to bespoke showers and bathrooms for the elderly and disabled. Whatever the reason you may have reduced mobility, our aim is to help you retain your freedom, confidence and dignity so you can continue your life’s adventure with independence and style.
Having worked in the elderly care sector, as well as in the construction industry for 20 years, Richard Caddle established Aquaneed in 2001. Aquaneed met the growing demand for practical bathroom solutions to enable people to stay in their own homes longer and retain their independence. Our team are passionate about supplying the right solution to our clients.
Our free, no obligation home survey is just that, with no pressurised selling techniques. The survey and assessment takes 60-90 minutes and on completion you get a detailed quotation and 3D visuals.

Aquaneed built a new wet room for my elderly parents, by knocking through and joining their current bathroom with a separate w.c. They were extremely professional and helpful with the planning and throughout the build. Rob made lots of suggestions to make sure that the bathroom would be practical now and in the future. The fitters were great, they started and finished on time and the job came in under budget! The new wet room has completely changed my parents' life and enabled them to remain in their home living independently. 10/10!

After a great deal of indecision and confusion on how best to proceed with renovating and converting our bathroom to provide an easy access shower, we finally settled on Aquaneed, and are so glad we did. The free consultation visit (by Rob) was extremely useful in helping us to decide what could be done, and was very informative, and so gave us 100% confidence to proceed. The second 'pre-start' visit by Rob was also very useful to make any final tweaks to the requirement and confirm everything. The lead time for the work was quite long as they are very busy (a good sign!), but was well worth the wait. The installers were exceptional, extremely hard working, but very diligent and competent. After the work was completed a follow-up visit (from Jay) to check all was okay was further reassuring. The final result is we have a super 'Wet Room' and we are delighted.

Aquaneed provided the cheaper of two quotes for converting our en-suite bathroom into a wetroom. Price wasn’t however the only consideration in choosing them, Rob who provided the quote was more than a salesman and obviously knew the trade and was able to offer useful advice prior to the work commencing. The principal sub contractor that was employed by Aquaneed – Lee – was excellent and produced a high quality job. He was professional, timely and tidy. The office staff that I dealt with were polite and efficient as well. I would have no problem with recommending this company.

We had a complete new bathroom installed, specifically for someone in a wheelchair (which I am). This not only meant moving everything to enable the new bathroom to be like a wet room with arms coming down from the walls and building safety grab rails, but also building a walk-in shower into which you can drive your own wheelchair or use the drop-down chair installed with the shower.
