Aquasmith

Aquasmith, including Mitchell, Chris and Michael were a pleasure to deal with. Works were carried out to a high standard and the finish and snagging was dealt with extremely professionally. The workmen were also very considerate in their dealings with us. Altogether, we were left very happy and would not hesitate to use Aquasmith again.

Aquasmith were excellent from start to finish. Mitchell came to see me within two days of my initial phone call to discuss my plans and advise on what was and was not possible and the best way to achieve it. He emailed an estimate to me the following day and I was able to accept and fix a date straight away for the work to start. Mitchell kept in touch and gave me a catalogue to choose the type of equipment I would like, as well as a link to a website for tiles. He then brought me some samples of possible tiles I had chosen and confirmed with me the bathroom furniture and equipment he suggested based on my choices. These were then ordered, to be delivered to me the day work was to start. The work started on time and the two fitters, Michael and Chris worked very hard and efficiently the whole time, always being considerate and keeping me informed of their progress, asking where I would like certain items fitted and offering suggestions and help. The house is old, the bathroom small and narrow, and plumbing required a considerable amount of work, as well as walls needing to be completely stripped back, a false wall added and the ceiling removed and replaced. They achieved all this with a minimum of fuss and to a very high standard and I would certainly recommend Aquasmith one hundred percent.

Aquasmith were recommended to us by neighbours, and we were delighted with the service provided. Mitchell made the whole process straightforward and stress-free. He kept a close eye on the job from start to finish, and helped us choose the best fixtures and fittings for us (accompanying us round the showrooms when we made our final choices). He ironed out any issues without delay, and responded by phone/email by return. Billing was transparent - the project was brought in on time and to budget. Mario, who did the work, was polite, courteous, and went out of his way to cause as little disruption as possible. He even hoovered the stairs each afternoon before leaving! His workmanship was excellent, nothing 'phased' him, and he was good at suggesting pragmatic solutions to issues arising. All in all, he was one of the best workmen we have had to do work on our house. So, from our experience, we can thoroughly recommend Aquasmith.

Aquasmith have provided us with a nice, new bathroom. Mario did all the work on his own, everything from removal of old bathroom and tiles to installation of new elements, tiling and electrics. He did all of this in a very calm and well organised manner, explaining each step and how long it would take. He was also very careful about cleaning up after his work. All old installations were piled in our driveway and removed on time, as promised. All work was done in the expected time frame and within the agreed budget. We might have needed a bit more help at the beginning with ordering items, but the workmanship is a good standard and we are very pleased with the result. Communication with Aquasmith was easy, and Mitchell responded instantly to all questions.

Cannot recommend Aquasmith more highly. Mitchell attended on site & not only provided a detailed estimate but made recommendations & highlighted possible pitfalls from the off. Once booked, the team were prompt on site from 8am every morning & they worked solidly to complete the job to the highest possible standard. We were also impressed at the ongoing advice provided during the process. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again & would recommend without hesitation.

Aquasmith have just fitted two bathrooms for us, one after the other. I have been very impressed by the experience from the very beginning. Mitchell came to do the survey and provided a detailed quote very promptly, and was very helpful with advice and answering my many questions. The communication was superb throughout. The bathroom fitters were cheerful and hard working and very tidy. They were very patient and happy to deal with my last minute requests and all of our nit-picking over details. There were a few unforeseen complications on the job but they were all dealt with with no drama. The work has been completed to a very high standard of workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aquasmith and having heard that they also do kitchens will no doubt be calling them back for a quote in the future!

I am very happy with the refurbishment of my small bathroom by Aquasmith. Helpful guidance on product selection from Mitchell, who also co-ordinated with the various suppliers on an appropriate delivery schedule, through to the actual installation which was carried out to a high standard, and with care and consideration. A minor snag post installation was dealt with promptly, efficiently and without fuss. All costs were agreed in advance and the project was completed on time . A trouble free experience and the re-configured bathroom is everything I hoped for.

This is the second time we have worked with Mitchell and Mario and we were just as thrilled this time round. Aquasmith completed a total refurbishment of my en suite shower room in 5 and a half days, on budget and in accordance with the initial quotation. They installed an entire new shower unit, toilet and vanity/sink unit together with tiling for walls and floor. The standard of workmanship was excellent and the work itself was conducted with a minimum of disruption to the rest of the household. The entire experience of dealing with Aquasmith was extremely positive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is considering having a new bathroom or shower room.

Booked them for a new bathroom. We were very worried about so many factors early on, but from the very beginning they responded to any questions and concerns we had. They made sure we were very happy with everything and that we completely understood all that was involved. They were very efficient, courteous and hard working. The quality of the work was incredible, we are so happy with the result and smile every time we enter our new bathroom. It was completed earlier than they expected which we really appreciated. The service was outstanding, if they felt something wasn't right they flagged it immediately (e.g. I had a wrong part, they flagged it rather than fitting a part which they knew I didn't want). Overall I would 100% recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future.

Having been let down by other bathroom companies we approached Aquasmith. Mitchell organised a site visit and detailed quote very quickly. The quote was very competitive and we were able to arrange for work to start in a few weeks. We have had every room in our house renovated during the last 3 years and have worked with dozens of tradespeople. I'm struggling to think of one better than our bathroom fitter Mario. He was VERY punctual, polite, informative, hardworking and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised by both the speed and quality of the work. Having gone through a lot of stress with other companies we are very happy with the finished product from Aquasmith and would highly recommend them.

Aquasmith refurbished our bathroom and WC and the service was excellent from start to end. We had a good idea of what we wanted, which we talked through with Mitchell when he came round to visit. He had some valuable insights, which we incorporated into the design, and also suggestions of where to get the equipment and floor tiles. Mitchell then provided a detailed quote for each room, detailing the work done and the cost (split out clearly between the different tasks). He came with us to the plumbing supplies company where he helped us choose the products and make sure we were getting things that worked in the limited space we had. The work itself was done to a very high standard and exactly as we had discussed. Maciek was really friendly, diligent and nothing was too much trouble. We’d chosen and ordered the wall tiles ourselves separately, and they took longer than expected to arrive, but Aquasmith were very flexible and worked round this. This meant the job took a little longer than we it would have otherwise, but that was entirely our fault. The communication throughout from Mitchell was excellent. We are delighted with the end result, and the cost was exactly as set out by Mitchell at the outset. I would highly recommend Aquasmith, it was a pleasure working with them.

We used Aquasmith to completely refurbish our new bathroom, including installing a bathroom, and retiling the floor and walls, among others. We used Which to get in touch with three traders, and eventually chose Aquasmith which we never regretted. Mitchell is a highly professional manager who entirely understands the relevance of good customer service. He us informed from start to end, found a convenient start date for us, and regularly visited us while the work was done to resolve any issues arising. He also gave us advice in the bath store and the tile shop, which was very helpful, and one of the pluses that distinguishes Aquasmith from the other traders approached by us. What he charged for this additional service was fair. He also provided transparent and detailed cost estimates, including expenses for additional goods and services. Overall, we believe that the final price was competitive. The fitters were courteous, punctual, and very competent, completed the job to a high standard, and left everything in a tidy state. Moreover, thanks to their hard work, they even managed to completed before the scheduled end date. We would definitely consider them for future work.

All the work done on my bathroom refurb was excellent. Mitchell oversaw the whole process and the work done by Maciek and Jack was excellent. I was advised and kept informed at all times and had the total confidence that any small issues would be addressed immediately. Excellent service and am totally loving my new bathroom. Aquasmith did a great job with our bathroom upgrade. Overseen by Mitchell, the project was handled professionally from day one, starting and finishing on the expected dates. Aquasmith stripped out our old shower and installed a new one, tiled, with a built-in recess. The work included new downlights, an extractor fan, new vanity units, sinks and taps plumbed in. The old shower had been badly installed, resulting in leaks and a failure of the waste water to drain away properly. It was clear that the guys – Maciek and Jak – knew exactly what they were doing, fitting and sealing the shower tray and door as it should be. The finishing was excellent, with great attention to detail. They also reconfigured the drain-away pipework and now there is no build-up of water in the tray. In doing this, they discovered and fixed a further leak from our bath. The guys always arrived on time, were clean and highly efficient workers and tidied up at the end of every day. There were a couple of minor snags that emerged afterwards but these were sorted quickly and without any quibble. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aquasmith to others.

I used Aquasmith to completely refurbish my rather cramped bathroom, from strip out to final details. I used WHICH to find 3 traders but Aquasmith were my first choice and I'm very glad of it. From first contact to finish Mitchell, who manages the projects, was very good at communications, giving me a firm start date, measuring up, suggesting design options and making sure every thing they and I needed was ready for then. He even took me shopping for the fittings, tiles, units etc., 3 hours well spent pinning down everything from the toilet type to the look of unit handles. They started on schedule and kept me fully informed about what was happening and when. The budget was competitive and the fitters J and M were excellent professionals, tidy, polite and very skilled. My bathroom now has a stunning luxury feel and can't praise them enough. We had a couple of small issues with parts, and a delay thanks to my water supply but issues were resolved quickly and the aftercare is excellent. Altogether a stress free, highly impressive job and I would use them again without hesitation.

We enlisted Aquasmith on a recommendation to refit and tile our new bathroom. They proved to be worth the recommendation . They were excellent, professional, tidy and polite. They did not stop working from the minute they arrived until the end of each day. They were helpful in making suggestions on how to make our bathroom look amazing. They were helpful to obtain a new unit quickly when a unit we had bought was found to be damaged. I cannot speak highly enough for a great hard working team that were helpful and approachable. The price for the job was competitive.
