I’ve used Aquila multiple times over the past four or five years and recently purchased a new house. We’ve got a heating system that is dated now and a little more complicated than a combi so I had loads of questions best practice for use, efficiently, changing in the future, changing some rads etc. Adrian was our engineer; he was very friendly and happily answered all of my questions whilst servicing our system. Highly recommend Aquila and I’ll continue to use them in the future for servicing and when we look to get a new system over the next couple of years!

Had an issue where our central heating thermostat stopped working. Called Aquila Heating & Plumbing and they arranged for an engineer to visit the following day to replace and install a new one. Very efficient service and well priced compared to local competitors. The engineer (JW) was polite and respected our home. Completed job within timescale and left no mess. First time we have used this company and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them as a trusted company. Thank you.

Right from the initial quotation to the job completion I can honestly find no fault with Aquila. The engineer (Pete) arrived and after introduction immediately commenced with the jobs. All the way through I was informed of what was happening and on completion of the jobs all of the areas worked in were clean and tidy. Infact you'd never know anything had taken place. Thank you Pete plus Aquila for your standard of work plus your professionalism. Most appreciated. 110% I'd have no hesitation in recommending Aquila. All day every day.

When John the engineer first came out to inspect our broken boiler, he was very clear regarding his investigation, advice and the installation that would follow. Although the work was promised to be done in a single day, it eventually took two days, with a span of about two weeks between appointments. Even so, the boiler was functioning after the first appointment (despite breaking down, but that was a Bosch issue, not an Aquilla issue - and Aquilla were very helpful pointing us in the right direction to get it sorted) - all in all, incredibly pleased with the work done and the professional and friendly nature of the staff, both engineers and call center teams.

I had my boiler service today by Dave from Aquila. Dave attended and took time to listen to the issues I have had and ensured to address them all. I now have a serviced boiler, fully working radiators (which were not all previously working) and future advice regarding my boiler pressure. Dave was super friendly and knowledgeable. The company as a whole are easy to contact and use. The payment for the invoice is really easy to do via a link provided. Overall very pleased and happy with my choice!

After having a boiler and radiator fitted by this company we called them back due to a strange thudding noise. When the engineers arrived they stated it was the gas meter that needed replacing and it was probably caused by the disruption of having the new gas pipes and boiler fitted. We were told we right to call them out and that we should contact our gas supplier. Late that day we received a bill of £30 charging us for the visit of the engineers! At no time beforehand we were told that we would be charged for this call, when we called the office we were told that if you got your car serviced and then you needed new tyres you would have to pay for the tyres. The engineers have always been really good, the staff in the office however have no idea about customer services. Stay clear of this company.

Dear customer, We are really sorry that you feel we have let you down and to such an extent to leave such a poor review. We pride ourselves on our customer service and take all feedback on board, positive or negative, so that we may further improve. With regards to this specifically, we installed a boiler for you 4 1/2 months earlier and you called to say you could hear a noise when the heating came on. We prioritised an engineer to attend within 3 working days. Our engineer diagnosed that the noise was coming from the gas meter which was unrelated to any products or services we provided to yourselves. He also advised you on a course of action to get the meter replaced at no cost to yourselves. Obviously if the issue was in any way related to the work carried out this would have been FOC under our workmanship or product guarantees. As this call was unrelated, the visit should have been charged as a diagnostic @£50+VAT, however, as a valued customer, the office staff, which you mention in such low regard took it upon themselves to reduce the invoice to £25+VAT which is our minimum charge, which goes someway to covering the cost of sending an engineer out. As I'm sure you can appreciate if all our engineers ran around diagnosing issues for all 5000+ customers have used our services, for free, we would not have a business. Again, we apologise for any upset caused and hope you accept this explanation and continue to use our services in the future.
